I had a HK vp9sk slide cut for an RMR and could not be happier with the work. This is a great company to deal with and I will be using them in future.

So my first experience with this company started almost 2 years ago when I handed them a Glock 19 to have the slide milled down, put on suppressor height sights and install a trijicon RMR. They only had my gun for about 4 weeks and did a fantastic job. Thats the end of this first experience, and for this experience Im going to give them one star. The next story I have is unfortunately a far worse experience and is why Im taking away four stars from this review. My second experience with this company started on December 5th 2019. I handed them a CZ p10c, which is a very common gun made by a very common and popular manufacturer. I asked them to do the exact same work on the CZ as they did on the Glock 19. The day that I am writing this review is October 29th 2020 and I just now picked up my slide from them. Again, they did the exact same work on my Glock 19 and had it for about 4 weeks, they had the CZ for 47 weeks! The customer service and communication from this company are atrocious. In the past 11 months, they have only reached out to me two or three times with updates on my gun, and the only reason they reached out to me was because I initially called them for an update. They claimed the process took so long because they couldnt find iron sights that worked on the gun, but I find that hard to believe considering this company has been around for almost 30 years. I feel like they just forgot about my gun and didnt do any work on it for months and months. The most disappointing part was when I went there to go pick it up, and they acted like nothing was wrong. I picked my gun up in person and both Nina and John were in the shop, and neither one of them apologized to me for how long the work took. I also didnt receive a discount due to their incompetence over the last 11 months. I did receive a discount at the point of sale back in December which saved me $45, but that discount was available to everybody for the holidays. They did not give me any additional discount in regards to their poor customer service, even though John told me back in May that he was going to try to get me a discount because it was taking so long. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anybody. Or at least anybody that has a CZ. They acted like I handed them alien technology, because they seemed like they had no idea what to do when it came to this gun. There are several other examples of poor customer service that Ive experienced from this company, but I want to keep this review fairly short, so I will not go into depth about those other poor experiences.Update - October 30, 2020I received an email from ATEI letting me know that there was miscommunication between Nina and John when it came to a discount. They decided to refund me $90 which covered the salt bath nitride finish to the slide because of how long it took them to complete my gun. My bill was $313, so this discount is roughly 30% off. Because of this, I will be adding another star to my review. I thought about giving them three stars, but I still have to acknowledge the fact that they had my gun for almost a year, and although $90 is a fairly good discount, I feel like they could have been more generous considering the circumstances.

Recently sent Doug and crew 3 M&P slides for serrations and changing out the sights. Trijicon HD Orange sights and various selections of machining. I was thinking it was just bling, man was I wrong. Useful purpose for a working carry gun. @ATEIGUNS @ateiguns

Turning good guns into something, but perhaps not combat weapon systems. They turned mine into a gun that needs more work.A sight manufacturer referred me to these people, so I took that recommendation at face value. The work took longer than stated. The machinist and head dude Doug said he had to make the cut three times because the manufacturer didnt make it clear how to do it. When they eventually could be bothered to finally ship the thing back, the front and rear sights they selected and installed were totally mismatched by height and not visible through the red dot sight. I asked them for assistance on getting the sights matched up so they would hit where the gun aims and ultimately got none. I can shoot small groups and have won a state-level SWAT marksmanship competition so its not a matter of the nut behind the trigger causing the sighting problem. To add insult to injury, my next shipment from Midway went directly to them by accident. Months and months later, they offered to ship it to me at my expense. When I expressed dissatisfaction over the work they did, they retracted their offer to ship the tool to me at my expense.I called to resolve the matter man to man, and was instead berated with an anti-police tirade where Doug used profanity and the slur pig in reference to police. It was not enough to decline my request and clarify their position on why their work was fantastic, but they had to take it personally, shout at me over the phone, tell me they were going to destroy my property that was shipped there in error, and hang up on me.I give them one star because -5 stars was not an option. They are slow, unprofessional, insulting, do not honor their agreements, and ship out half-baked work. Other than that, they are fantastic.Dont let them butcher your project.———Edited to add:Well their customer service demeanor can show for itself. Insults and name calling is the best they can do.If any part of that is false, I invite you to sue me. Do your alleged witnesses deny the words, “f***ing pig” exited your mouth while referring to a police officer? These people have no class at all and they will show you that for themselves.PS: Thank you for the reminder to take this up with BBB.

Great work and a great place. Had a Glock 19X slide milled for a Trijicon RMR, turnaround time was great and the work is perfection, if you need slide work done this is the only place to go. I deal with guns all day every day and know quality work and this is it.
