Target in Greer, SC is close to us and the store has thoughtful products, a good variety, and if an item isnt available in store, I can order it on line. The products are great quality and its one of my favorite stores for these reasons. My daughter came to the store to purchase a toy with her hard-earned lemonade stand money. She made her purchase and upon opening the item in our car in the parking lot, we discovered that the toy didnt properly function. We went back to return it and, after waiting in line for some time, a gentleman (a manager, perhaps?) came forward to help us. My daughter told him what brought her in, the reason for the return, and how she used her lemonade stand money to purchase the item. He was so concerned with her experience and making it right that he told her to return to the toy section where she could pick out any toy of value up to $10, bring it to him, and he would comp it for her. She was so excited and we were so moved at his kindness. I wish I had made note of his name (Matt, maybe?) because I am very grateful for his generosity. Thank you, Target, for another great experience!

Great location. Very polite and friendly employees. I like the clothing selection here for men. The Target brands are pretty nice. Some good home decor options here. And now that I think of it 50% or our coffee mugs are from Target lol.

I have shopped at Target for a long while and have always received good customer service. However, while at the Greer, SC location recently I had a disappointing visit. I needed help with something so I ask an associate who happen to come by, about a product I was looking for. She just walked right on by after a short reply barely audible. I decided to shop elsewhere for wedding gifts for my granddaughter and her fiance even though they are registered at Target. I do not know the employees name however, she is probably the only one with blue hair. I felt like I was at that other retail chain where quality customer service is not a thing.

Target is a great place to shop if you are a senior citizen. The red card is the best thing Targets has. You can save a lot of money using it when you shop.

I went there this afternoon to get Lipton Herbal Orange Blossom ice tea. Of course they only had 2 on the shelf. And guess what the date on the tea was August 9th 2021. Today date is August 18th 202q.

On April 23, 2020 I purchased good and gather blue corn tortilla chips and later realized it had an expiration date of February 15, 2021. At this particular location you really have to check expiry dates on everything because I’ve had this happen on other food items such as yogurt. This food item was on the shelf two months beyond the expiry date!!! Where is management?

The AT&T guy you have standing in the back of your store who hounds everyone who walks by - ruins my shopping experience. I refuse to go anywhere near the electronics section because this gentlemen follows me around trying to sell me AT&T internet. Just another place I feel uncomfortable shopping at as a woman. Very kind and helpful staff ;) Every employee we passed asked sincerely, if there was anything they could do to help. They brought us right to what we were looking for. Even made some recommendations on similar products when we were undecided. We felt very welcomed and found lots of products you don’t see elsewhere. Bigger selection of brands I already use too. Also told us about checking out with one of the employees on the floor if there was a long line at the registers in front. Very friendly;) will ALWAYS go to that particular Target. 😊 Feel like we made some friends:)

Jordan was extremely rude tonight, I’m shocked at how unprofessional she was! I’m a very avid shopper at Target and I am extremely disappointed in her behavior. She said she was the Manager and I’m very surprised a manger would treat any guest in the way that she did!!! I shop at Target almost daily either online or in store and it’s a shame that somewhere I love to shop has left me feeling terrible in the way I was treated!

The convenience and the abundance of products

We found the associates in the tech area very helpful. Zachary in particular stayed with us as we shopped for video games for our special needs grandchild. Another associate also assisted with thoughtful suggestions. Definitely above and beyond expectations in a big box store.

Just left here with my iced doppio! Wow very few places make it just right. They knew to mix the milk and flavoring before adding ice so it all mixes while coffee is hott. Kudos to you! Thank you! Many other places make it so the flavoring (white chocolate syrup) settles on the bottom and not in the coffee. Thank you for awesome customer service!!

Quick and easy pick-up

This is by far my favorite location! Its always clean and well stocked.

Today we had a pleasant experience at Target Mr. Mark B, was very friendly and attentive to us and our little daughter of 4 years! Great Job👏🏻

This one is not as bad as some Targets. The store stays pretty messy and poorly stocked though. Overall, clientele is a little better then other areas but I think thats mostly because Taylors is a nicer area and not because this is a nicer Target.Still participating in the cancel culture, I cant tell if their employees are unfriendly, or just sleepy from breathing their own carbon dioxide all day. They dont make any effort to help, and none of them look you in the eye. This is probably mostly do to exhaustion from being required to wear masks. Target corporate is part of the CCP, so no surprise there. Do everything you can to support local businesses, this is not a local business. Unfortunately it is necessary to get some things here, but the more we buy from them the more they take from us, so be creative in do your best to find as much as you can other places.

Maybe I went at the wrong time because the shelves were empty in a lot of areas. It is a large store but it was my first visit so maybe they are better on other days.

Since covid-19 the standards have gone way down. So many guests without masks, and zero enforcement. I feel for these employees because their safety is in others hands and their hands are tied. An employee told me they are basically not allowed to do anything or say anything for fear of backlash. YET, my kid cannot get a sticker from masked and sanitized employees. Inconsistent at best; I call it spineless idiocy.

The guest service rep was very kind and swift.

They need to get rid of that rude blue haired girl that is incompetent and goes around harassing customers!

Google reports that masks are required, but they arent. Counted 30 people, grown adults specifically, in store without masks. My trip to the store was less than 15 minutes long because I didnt feel safe. I spoke with a manager and they said theres nothing they can do. This location, same as other locations, has 1) an A frame sign with large print saying masks are required 2) an employee with free masks available posted at the front and 3) a recording that plays over the intercom saying if you dont wear a mask, they invite you to do curbside pickup. But if none of this is enforced, the word required becomes incredibly misleading. I have a 5 month old, and cannot put a mask on her.

Lines were getting long and they opened up another register to get more people checked out. Bob the barista from Starbucks jumped on a register. He was super friendly. Wasn’t mad at all he had to hop on to downsize the lines. Good experience today.

I visited the other week and was greeted by a super helpful associate. Ashley was super helpful in the back to school section! Answered all questions and was very knowledgeable of the layout of the store

Okay, so I dont usually write reviews unless they are good, but Target used to be nice. I went in to look for a bathing suit (which they usually have a huge selection of), slippers, and sweatpants. Not only were there barely any bathing suits, there was literally one pair of slippers, two different sweatpants with only L and XL available, and each one of these sections were completely trashed. Yall just made Walmart look really good. Definitely will not be returning.

Went in for sandals and a few other things. Upset my red card didnt work in SC. Will call to remind them I am visiting SC & NC.

I bought a potato slicer, brand name PrepWorks. It works great!! If you love homemade french fries then this is a must in your kitchen. Its another have to in my kitchen. It cuts 2 sizes of most vegetables, and dices. I posted a pic & a video. Its simple.

Very poor excuse for a retail store. All associates and managers very rude. Waited with a bunch of others for a ps5 or xbox all night and when employees started showing up all they did was laugh and cut their eyes at us from inside. One employee went so far as to call us stupid for waiting since the website showed as having none even though the day before showed as having none even though they did. Will never give target my business again due to this store. Thanks for nothing.

More selection and cleaner than Walmart. Comes with a higher price point though. Pretty typical Target. Has a Starbucks kiosk in it.

Christmas in August? You would think by the wait to check out today, Saturday at 1:30 pm, the line to check out was down to the office supplies. I left my cart and walked out. No perishables were in the cart. Very sad to see Target spending so much time, energy, and good parking for pick up shoppers. They, like Walmart, are forgetting the in person shopper.

The lady who was at the register was really nice and helpful. There was someone (possibly a manager) that was walking by as I was headed out and when I stopped to look at my receipt he asked if everything was okay. I had a confused look on my face because I wasnt sure what part of the receipt was the gift receipt. Then another employee came by and told us to have a great day and took my cart for me. He also said to be safe because it looked like it was going to rain out. This was the first Target that I really felt like I was cared about. Most employees might smile or something but those employees were truly paying attention to me and it made my rough day much better!

I got through the whole shopping experience with ease. I purchased an item using the target app and received a discount for using my Redcard. It was ready for pickup before the estimated 2 hours and I received a text notification when I was able to pick it up.

Shopping at Target is wonderful. The store is quiet while shopping. The new makeup area looks like the makeup areas in the mall. They have great clothing. The Manager is friendly. He is actually out in the store helping the associates. He always says hello with a smile.

UPDATED! WAS 5 stars.I really like how they did the renovations to the store. It looks wonderful, the team there is always helpful, and the new drive up feature is amazing as a mom with two young kids.Update! Docked 2 stars because their drive up service is not super great. I ordered 7 items at 830 am, app said it would take two hours. No problem, I go do my other shopping. Two hours later I pull up along the drive in spot and theyre still working on it. Not happy about that. Called in, said they had 8 orders to fill. Not that much to do in two hours. It seems like someone dropped the ball. I got the lame excuse that they get backed up first thing in the morning ... Not my problem. Work on getting more people to cover the services in the time frame you promise. I love this service so I hope they get their act together.

I love target. Better designed products and good prices. I love their selections of gift wrapping and cards.Not as large of a selection as other stores, particularly women’s clothing/swimsuits. If I’m looking for that, I go to the woodruff rd location.

Whats not to love about Target?! Whoever their buyer is must know me and cater to my aesthetic, because every time I go here I want to buy everything. Love their clothes and accessories, bathroom stuff, kitchen, home decor, wine selection, holiday decor, pet supplies, make-up, and toiletries.The staff at this particular Target is very friendly and accommodating. I had an issue with a return of a modem, and they went above and beyond to help me with my exchange.

The pharmacy was awesome went to several different pharmacies to get my granddaughter medicine filled they were the only ones that had it. Amber was a great help met her only that one time but my family will remember her for a lifetime

The cashier didnt check the items before ringing them up. The product had clearance tags on them, he should have scan that and not the actual barcode. Other then that my trip was great. Customer service was able to fix the issue. However they had to refund my card then recharge it, I dont like this it takes too long to get the credit. I wish there could have been another way. I love that the store has events for kids. I wish you could sign up for something to get reminders or the events. If they had the events on a regular schedule. The only way to know is to check the website weekly/monthly.

Ive always felt that Target is better than Walmart, and with this location that is true. This Target location is amazing. I just love the awesome staff there, and there is a great selection of grocery items here as well. The Starbucks here looks nicer than some of the stand alone Starbucks locations in the area. They have great prices for everything I needI would definitely suggest coming to this Target!
