First time at the store. I was greeted immediately in a friendly manner upon entering. I was asked if I needed assistance and a someone was called to help. The man was very helpful and patient with me as I consider my options. I ended up buying hair products almost $150 worth. I would say a little over price but then again I’ve been shopping on Amazon and we are in COVID-19 pandemic so prices have increased everywhere. I appreciated the customer service I received. Four stars because I did not really explore the entire store as I found what I needed right away but more importantly I do not think the KN95 masks I bought is authentic. I should have known better buying from a beauty supply store. Nevertheless it should not be there as KN95. It means the money they made from me for a product is not up to task intended. Yes I will visited the store again for product.

The owner is mean, rude, and looks at everyone as if were going to steal from him. He needs to learn a bit more etiquette, on how to coexist with potential customers. His look alone makes you want to leave the store. Even when I say thank you have a good day he doesnt look at you or responds. Ive said it Numerous times over the years.I believe he may have been robbed or attempted robbery, maybe his excuse, but he needs to know we all arent criminals. By the way Ive lived here 40 years, and he hadnt changed. Its Very Sad.😞😢😞

So I looked up local beauty supply places and Ebony beauty supplies had a high google reading. However that had to be in regards to the product selection because it certainly was not in regards to their customer service. The man behind the counter never acknowledged me as I entered the store and proceeded to clip his nose hairs or mustache with scissors, all while talking on the phone. I was checking out the product that I needed but needed some assistance. As I approach the counter where he was sitting and looked him directly in the face, he never made eye contact or stopped cutting his hairs to ask me if I needed assistance. After about a minute, I asked my questions and another man appeared and assisted me. When was time to pay, Mr cut his hairs rang up my purchase. I asked if there was a discount off of my products and he started speaking. I asked if he was speaking to me and he put his fingers up to his ear motioning that he was talking to the person on the phone and not me. His treatment of me was abominable and if I wasn’t pressed for time I would have simply walked out. I will never, ever shop there again and will implore anyone that I hear wanting to shop there to not do so. There is absolutely nothing Ebony beauty supplies in Teaneck New Jersey sells that you can’t get somewhere else.

This is a fine beauty store for all especially those living in Teaneck community.this store has everything from assorted synthetic and human hair,hair products and body products at a great price.

Helpful store staff, if you cant find what you need, they will order it for you. They let you know if it is possible to get it. There is a large selection of hair to choose from.

Ebony has everything for natural hair. The old man knows his stuff and is very helpful in helping me find the right products for my hair. Their prices are lower than everywhere else Ive tried. Been going here for at least 10 years. I have moved twice takes me almost 20mins but I still make the trip. It is well worth it.

Best hair braiding in Bergen county. Love my hair done by Rosalie. Very good very professional thank you again Ill be back in 2 months

This is my favorite beauty supply store. They always have what I need and always carry the newest products! They have a wide variety of hair, hair products, and hair accessories, (almost everything). Their prices are great and the workers are helpful. Ive never had any problems there. There are others in the area, but they never have exactly what Im looking for, are priced a little higher, or try to rush me into buying things when Im just looking around. Check them out.

Typical Korean Beauty Supply Store. The son is nicer than the Dad, overall not the worst service, it could be cultural. Theyve been a staple in the neighborhood for so long that you get use to the unbothered nature of the owners. You can usually find everything you need here.

My wife gets her beauty products here. Prices on the high side in my opinion but is close and convenient.

The have a great selection of products for natural/curly hair. They always have what I need and, if the dont, they will get it. They have a vast selection of wigs and hair for braiding too! And the staff is always pleasant.

I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with this store. I grew up and lived in Teaneck most of my life. I have given so much of my money to this store over the years. However, I will no longer support this business. They have no respect for the people in the community or their dollars. I was accused of shoplifting a lip gloss when in actuality the lip gloss was mine to begin with and was already in my pocket when I entered the store. The store clerk just assumed I stole it because he saw it in my back pocket. After showing him that the lip gloss I had wasn’t even being sold in that store he got quiet and tried to move on with the conversation. I never received an apology nor did he even acknowledge that he made a mistake. Please do not support this business you will be much better off taking your dollars else where (black owned preferably).

A lot of choices and wide selection. They watch you like a hawk so theres not much freedom to open and smell the products. But the owners are friendly and fair. I know I can go there and get what I want.
