Ive been shopping here for many years and they always have everything I need to cook my meals. And all the staff are helpful and pleasant.

Every year Dominicans make whats called sweet beans, this year I decided to purchase at this place, but unfortunately there werent any beans, just cream 4 cookies and a cinnamon stick, and a few raisins. Abichuela con dulce more like crema con dulce.

I get very upset when I read overly positive reviews that are wholly undeserved. There is nothing amazing, or even average about this place!The hot food has become more expensive and has gotten worse over the years. Every so often, when starved, I forget how repulsed I am by the whole experience, and wander in there. Big mistake and waste of money.The servings are mostly rice. The beans are tasteless and the ox tails are as tough as bullets. The maduros they served me were rotten. The seasoning on everything is all wrong.I wouldnt buy anything from the market as things are clearly overpriced and the merchandise looks...old. Like youd have to check expiration dates on each item.You couldnt give me freely any of the fresh meat from the butcher area, which looks unsanitary.The produce is mostly overpriced and not that fresh looking.Clearly they cater to a specific population that is comfortable in markets like these.There is far better Caribbean food in the area, (Foster Village), and plenty of farmers markets and other stores to go to.Yuck!

We bought all our meat from them. We especially loved their skirt steaks. Now living in Florida we havent been able to find a place that were happy with. Thinking of calling them to see if they would ship some skirt steaks on a regular base.I miss them!

I was very upset with this store because the staff was not wearing masks properly . Two of them had their noses out of the mask and the person selling ready made food had the mask on his chin .

Ive been living in NJ for over 2 years now and Im mad that I hadnt discovered this place before. Its like a little piece of Washington Heights right in Bergen County. Now I can get authentic ingredients for my sazón in one place like the ajíes gustosos. I can also get real oregano and not the fake kind they sell everywhere else lol.

In all departments I have visit n Im always satisfy with their fresh meat n fish . They always are very friendly n repectul .

Dont let the modest size of this store fool you. It carries just about anything that youd need to prepare any dish, especially Latin American dishes. If youre not into cooking things yourself, go to their hot foods section, where you can get the days specials. Basically, for around $10 less, you can have them put together a meal to go of your own selections. They are all soooooo good! The best way to describe this place is super bodega. PS. ...and by the way, everyone in the store are all so nice.

I love the food, it gives one helluva bang for your buck and the coffee is of the best in the area.

They Sell good meat and Also sell hot food

All the Latin food ingredients you need is here! No need to drive to the city. They even have a hot food station with the favorite Dominican dishes and you can even cater for events.

HUUUGE fan of their hot foods. After a long shift their huge portions for minimal price ($10 at the most for their fish with rice, beans, and sweet potato) that is always spot on is 10/10 appreciated. The only problem I have is that their is no way that food is healthy but its my choice to eat there. I highly reccommend if youre hungry and love authentic dominican food.

I used to eat there everyday until they started changing the prices without notice or display. My meal went from $5 to $8 in 3 months. After telling them they should display price differences the man behind the counter got an attitude and said oh well you dont have to come here and I wont ever again.Theyre in a cursed location so they wont be there long. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES

I usually purchase a lunch size meal or dinner, but after tasting my recent dinner I will not order from there again. My food was burnt! They knowingly sold burnt food and tried to cover it up with other ingredients. I had nothing to eat for my night at work. This was disgusting! I will go elsewhere. Thank you
