I had made a purchase of $161 had put 3 $50 the left over amount and it wasn’t processing through the machine so i cancelled it and it only gave me $120 and the manager didn’t even come out and said i pretty much was lying about the amount i put in. I left al the whole cart and I’m never buying there again!!!’

As far as Walmarts go, this one is always pretty clean and organized. Self checkouts are fast and accessible. Staff is helpful in my experience.Thumbs up to Tehachapi Walmart.

Stopped by after attending the Apple Festival.Got only one 12-pack of mini diet coke. They are out of so many items. At least, I was able to get some Gatorade. No Powerade available. It was the first time at this Walmart.

The prices on groceries are the best in town. They are low on stock or completely out of things a lot of the time though. They need to have open registers instead of relying on self checkout so much. I dont think theyve ever even used all the registers they have before. I have only seen 1 lane open even at Christmas time and thats rarely even open. Quit being lazy and do your job Walmart!!!

Great shopping center. Clean and friendly atmosphere

The Walmart is fairly new and looks great inside and out but this Walmart lack a bunch of items. Many grocery items were either out of stock or very limited. I came here to gather some supplies for camping and I notice all the holes within the grocery department. Luckily I got everything I needed but if I was looking for certain, I would have found it. I decided to look at clothes here as well and of course they were out of stock of many items there. Ive definitely been to better Walmarts. The lack of supplies is probably due to the location of the Walmart but I am not 100% certain. Other than those issues, its like any other Walmart. Hopefully they will have more items in stock for others.

Best Walmart ever! I went in for some Juicy Juice and some gum drops and walked out with a unicorn! It was plastic but if you can touch it its real! Dont judge me. Youre just mad you dont have gum drops AND a unicorn. (I forgot the Juicy Juice when I saw the unicorn.) But yeah, best Walmart ever!

Clean, organized and friendly customer service. One less star only bc no overnight RV or Rig parking, despite having made purchases there. Wish theyd simply charge a small fee for one night stay only. So many traveling through stop at Walmart.

Waited over 30 min with multiple requests to call someone to spray paint isle. 3 times on overhead speaker called at my request to any employee i could find walking by. Finally someone came which was not his dept and got my 1 can I needed because they are locked up. I asked to speak with manager. I got the excuse they were probably looking for someone with keys. Really? There is no disciple for the employee who should be manning their area of work? Nobody to come tell us they are looking for keys? We were left there and ignored.. Poor customer service!!!!Just excuses. No change will happen because they dont care and make excuses for their employees lack.

Last time I stayed in Tehachapi Walmart had no carry out bags for purchases and still the same story today!!!How the hell can you purchase groceries here?

Very poor customer services! God forbid you need to pick up liquor for your celebration, you will be in the isle for over 20 minutes after you go searching for employees isles by isles until you go to the attendant at self checkout and even then you will wait several minutes, for an employee to surface, as all of the floor associates are shopping for online customers. I have never, EVER seen the actual store manager in person. It is alarming to me that this place of business is so much under staffed and does not have the capacity to replenish their frequently sold items appropriately. Worst Wal-Mart I have EVER frequented. Yours truly - still frequently shopping customer. # do better

I walked around the store and discovered products from Goya Ive never seen before. The workers were dressed up to promote a fundraiser for children. Really nice people. I really wanted to take a photo of them and they were happy to.

Beautiful store. Staff seemed to be annoyed by costumers being around. The first employee I met was friendly and welcoming(before entering store). So I got what I actually needed and drove to another town to finish my shopping.

I love the fact that Walmart lets you order stuff and then pull up and they put it in the car for you you dont even have to get out and go in anymore!

They seem To be getting into the swing of things. They actually had bags last night. The shelves were in order. Much better.

Typical Walmart Supercenter specially convenient for travellers on nearby Highway 58.Its not a Trader Joes though. That is, if youre looking for fresh quality salads, go to the Albertsons about 3 or 4 blocks away.

Often out of stock & grocery bags. Not enough cashiers or employees. Sometimes only 1 cashier on busy days. Long, long wait time for an employee to get lock down items. Produce is often old or rotten so choose carefully.

So I was at this Walmart location and dropped 2 cases of shrimp all over the floor and shrimp went everywhere! There was shrimp basking out in the isles and heating up in the not so cold ghetto environment they call a meat department floor. The employees just sat there and walked away trying not to make shrimp to eye contact, basically if they don’t see floor shrimp they won’t have to respond. After shopping for another hour in this store nobody cleaned it and you could smell the meat department from every isle. It looked and smelled like a shrimp-nado hit the meat department and it makes me not want to return.

Went to pick up dogs and that was the best thing ever including the dogs had snacks from there they liked

Well I think Ive said this before. Problem with Walmart is that any popular item that you want to go and buy they dont seem to have on shelf but they are getting better. In fact the last time I went to Walmart they had seem to have 2/3 of what I wanted. I dont know if its a problem with keeping things stocked or personnel? Also when you buy fruits and vegetables they tend to spoil very quickly so if youre not going to eat them within the next few days youre probably going to miss out. Which is a huge waste of money too. But their prices are a lot better than everyone else. Personally I prefer Target even though they tend to be 50 cents or dollar more. But they dont seem to have the variety the Walmart does.

Always very poorly stocked and a total pain to get razors or even shaving cream. Or liquor, the prices arent really that outstanding either. BUT, I will say that their staff is most excellent. Very friendly and helpful.

What can I say about WalMart that hasnt been said before? They have pretty much everything here, but no vision services (prescription glasses). Friendly staff, good quality products.

You dont even have a store manager. Apparently very little proper training. Employees appear to not care about Customer Service.

Don’t ever try to call for service as they never pickup the phone. Best to just go in face to face and risk getting COVID. Horrible service.

Has the one door lock so e everyone has to w as l to other door and I am handicap. Long line once inside and all of health and beauty section is under lock and key with no help insite so turned around and left. Will never return to this store

Its a gamble. Sometimes I get great service and everything is stocked. Other times it is bare and chaotic. They do try to keep up with everyone but much is out of the local employees control. Remember that when they are out of everything. Call corporate and let it out if you need to. Ive seen the employees treated poorly with stuff out of their control.

Everyone was friendly and the place is clean. This place is huge for our little town but it seems like it is popular because I went at about 10pm and there was still some people and the shelves where pretty bare. I dont know if it was the deliveries arent as much as they expected or there was that many people that day. I went to savemart and the shelves where full. I have never seen the shelves so stocked at savemart.The prices arent always the best but they do have a lot that is good prices. It looks like this place is going to be around for a while. Hopefully the rest of the stores in town will be also.

Shopping here has never been a pleasant experience. No matter what time of day you visit, there are always pallets of inventory needing to be stocked with no one working them. Yet there are huge sections of empty shelf space. Since it opened one year ago, this store has never been fully stocked. Its opening here was highly anticipated because we would no longer have to drive 40 miles to the nearest Walmart to get what we needed. But the fact is, many times that is not the case: time after time, items offered online are not available locally, but they are available at the next closest location. Having to wait two days for delivery is inconvenient so you end up driving the 80 mile round trip anyway. There are six checkstands but never more than three of them open at one time, so expect to wait in line. It all boils down to poor management. At least, I think this store has a manager. There is a picture of someone they say is the manager at every register but has yet to be seen around the store. All in all, this Walmart leaves a lot to be desired so prepare to drive somewhere else to get it.

The walmart team doesnt stop people from customers for not wearing their mask. Its not right and especially the kids. I love the fact the staff wears their mask. But customers not so much. Thank you. My husband & i wear our mask to protect ourselves and others.

The shopping experience is decent, but this is the first Walmart where I’ve been discriminated at twice. The receipt checkers I’ve ran into assumed that I’m stealing something. First incident was over a vaporizer that was marked under a serial number instead of the actual name. Second time was over a loaded cart that they thought needed two receipts; I’ve done both transactions through a cashier. They’re very rude!

Be careful!! Check online first!! This Walmart has all of their prices marked up. Ex. Lego 2 Movie Lego Set: Online- $25.99; In store- $40 (labeled Rollback too). In store pick up is free if you order online.

Took approximately 20 minutes for someone to man the photo department. Service and product were exceptional after the delay.

This is a very nice Walmart. Its less than a year old. Its the only store of kind in tehachapi so they have everything.

Amazing Walmart.the biggest I hvever . seen. Service was terrible. It took 4 different employees to finally finds fork lift driver. Stood waiting. Over a half hour. Poor costomers service. These 4 ppl had no clue about the products we were buying. The manager was NO HELP What So EVER!! How did she get that job?

I drove to the store because it is always an easy park, very clean, they practice social distancing and covid-19 protocols. My purchase was easy and I made the mistake of buying a TV too big for my stand therefore I had to return it with no problem

I prefer shopping at this walmart because it has more stuff in stock then the lancaster/palmdale locations. Very clean, they are always willing to help you out also have better attitude towards customers.

Open late, convenient one stop shop

No bags so I had to load the cart back up with 300. Dollars of stuff put in car then unload at home. She could have gotten bag from the self service area they had plenty. Not happy.

Its a fine Wal-Mart in the desert. Well stocked and clean.

Its a bit of a cluster in here. Wow. Maybe I went in on a bad day, but it was messy, unkempt and smelled like spoiled meat.The staff working was polite but you could see they were understaffed. They did great considering the situation.

I found a sort-of Advent type calandar for my kids! Good enough for me!

This Walmart is by far the cleanest establishment I been too! Everything was so organized and neat and basically everything in stock compared to any Bakersfield Walmart stores. Best Walmart by far and very friendly staff here. Not too many people so crowed isn’t so bad.

The staff don’t enforce the mask policy. This afternoon I saw family after family enter without a mask and the staff at the door and throughout the store said nothing. It’s not surprising then that about a third of the customers inside had no masks on.

All the shelves where bare. Just like Old Mother Hubbards cupboard. It also took more then 20 minutes for someone to help us in sporting goods. Had to call customer service to get someone to come back there.

A mess and out of tons of stuff like always. Workers busy talking with each other even if all the customers look lost or look like they need help.

Clean and fairly well organized for a Wal-Mart.Frequently seem short staffed, so team members are running around covering multiple areas. Some staff are extremely helpful and friendly.Items that are locked up (alcohol, ammo, formula, etc.) or necessitate staff assistance (such as fabric) often require lengthy wait times. Dont go to this location if youre in a hurry.

Shelves were practically bare when it came to finding young mens socks and undershorts .**********(No matter what brand).*Very slim pickings for any casual wear for pre-teens and middle aged women.Clothing dept. was more geared for elderly consumers.

Theres a problem when you have more inventory in master cartons blocking the isles then you have on the shelves. There are numerous occasions when Ive gone to Walmart in various area that this same thing happens. And they seem to have a problem keeping shopping bags in the store.

People are mostly pleasant. Stock sucks.

Today 11/7/2020 had to get off highway 58 because of closer due to big rig accidents. So I ended up at this Walmart. This is a nice clean store and the employees I was in contact with were very pleasant and helpful. I truly recommend anyone who has a chance to shop there do so.

Standard Walmart. Three stars because lack of inventory. They have bare shelves about 70% of the time.

Shop here regularly. Needs some work. Help is really hard to find and everything is almost always in disarray. Nothing is where its supposed to be and the store is just messy. Needs more employees for customer assistance and definitely needs more attention to shelves and stock.

The managers and most workers do NOT do their jobs. I have waited to get paint for over 20 minutes, after 2 different workers said they were coming back to help, so I had to go elsewhere. They never came back. Lots of the workers at self checkout are rude. There are never enough checkouts open, the entrance at the pharmacy side of the store is closed most of the time. You cant buy half the items you need because they are locked up and cant get anyone to open it for you. Ive been in lots of Walmart stores and this is by far the worst. The only positive is the pharmacy, they have always done a good job so far.

Nice new facility. Great selection for those “I’m out of town” essentials. Great parking, clean store, friendly staff (aside from the one that said “I’m off the clock I can’t help you” and overall a great experience. Stop in grab some toothpaste, a bottle of wine, and an apple.. or whatever suits your fancy!

I like this store because its it very close to the offramp for the 14 freeway. I can get off the freeway, buy what I need, and get back on.
