Best prices around. one thing i learned is if you call and he tells you the price over the phone thats retail. just show up and you will get some of the best pricing around and almost always in stock.

We needed a basic seasonal servicing. We also needed a throttle cable and shifting cable installed.It took forever to get the work done and we had to constantly call to find out the status. At the end the wrong boat cables were put on and they broke. When I explained it to them they were on able to even look at my boat until the end of the month. They left me stranded. I had to take it to another boat mechanic to get it done right in a timely manner

I was recommended this place by a friend to get motors. I have a scout 365 inflatable boat. And was looking for a 3.5 HP outboard motor. I got to the store, it was a little bit dusty and run down. I got welcomed in by a barking dog. The guy who was there was not very talkative. He had some health issues, So you had to give him some Time when looking up stuff. They had one outboard motor left. After we purchased it, he became a lot more talkative and friendly. It just takes people Time to get used to other people. Two of the workers in the back got the motor assembled and running. They showed me how to use it, what do you do it not to do, and what to do once finished after a trip in salt water. They also add it in a free oil bottle. The motor weighs about 40ish pounds. They were kind enough to help take it out to the car loaded up. I would definitely recommend you stop bye if you are looking for outboard motors, or anything in general.

Worst experience ever!!I went to this shop to look at a boat that a friend told me about on the way up to Last Chance Marine to drop off my MinnKota Trolling motor for a warranty repair, when I mentioned that I was going there to drop off the trolling motor for a warranty repair Pete the owner said we can do it their and said numerous time that the MinnKota Rep comes to the shop all the time and will fix it no problem.I left it with him for 3 months and he never called me once to give me an ETA, I called him numerous time to get excuse after excuse when I finally said Pete its been 3 months and I would like to pick up my motor today he blew up on me and said when its ready I will call you and hung up on me. I never once got upset on the phone with at all, so I went to the shop that day to pick it up as I had enough of no straight answers from Pete.I arrived at the shop to see my motor sitting in the same place he put it when I dropped it off 3 months earlier it had never been touched at all, when I said I was here to pick it up he said there it is and walked away.Supposedly all he had to do was bench test it but he said he was waiting batteries to do so, what! you own a boat shop and you dont have batteries?I call MinnKota to find out if he even put a warranty claim in for the motor and they told me he isnt a authorized repair center either.

Very much loaded with all boating essentials.. walked thru all departments long for a boat cover and trailer accessories.... of all the staff and managers working there... NO ONE approached me to offer their assistance when they saw me walking thru all departments multiple times. Left premises without being a purchase and instead order my items on line. Drove one hour for the bad experience. First time there... will never go back

Great service and great prices.

Called on Thursday about a recall on my motor and a trim switch that didn’t work. Pete said bring it in Monday, showed up Monday about 10:30 he told me there was actually two recalls. He said can I pick it back up today I said sure called me around 3:30 and said it’s ready. Where do you get that kind of service. Simple to deal with quick service very knowledgeable don’t know why you would go anywhere else. That’s why I’ve been using them for over 20 years.

Always a great experience, every time. I first went in a few months ago and been back several times, always very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Pete really knows Boats and Engines. If they dont have what you need in stock, typically can have it next day. Great to have a good marine shop right down the road. From a plug for your boat to a low profile supercharger, these guys got it.

We got our first boat. It was beautiful and in great shape, ran perfect then we take it out for the first time and realized that it needed a lot of work. I had no idea what I was doing so we brought it in to Temecula Speed and Marine. I talked to Pete. I was a pain calling every day. However, they took great care of us fitting our boat in during their busy schedule. I couldnt get there before they closed so he stayed open late just for me. Good Customer Service there. I mean who does that now a days? I got there after 7 to pick it up and started chatting. I looked at my phone and realized it was 8:30. He is great to talk to. Unfortunately, with wear and tear I know that it will need more work over time but fortunately I know where to go!

Weeks of being strung along. Finally had boat returned only to discover that the repairs that were claimed to have been done were really not done. I ended up changing my vst myself and contesting the charges with my credit card company successfully. To bad, as it would be really nice to have a local place to have my boat worked on. Never again.

Absolute best place to bring you boat. With years of experience Pete Is upfront and fair. I have brought my boat there 3 times now all for seasonal and minor repairs. Each time he has told me the things I should do this season and the things I can wait on doing. They are much different than your standard boat shop, they do not up sale and try to sell you on service that you do not need. I recommend everyone I know to go and see them.

Give Pete a call, he knows his stuff and has been doing this for a long time. Its hard to find guys like Pete that have so much knowledge. He can take care of your boat, no job is too big or too small. From a new engine to new rigging or installing radar for your boat, Pete can handle it.

Stay away from this place... Sending drives out without oil.. draining and not filling motors w/oil and blaming the customer. with friends like these who needs enemies..?

Take your money elsewhere. This place is terrible and dusty and run by an extremely rude owner. Pete has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. He never returns phone calls and kept me waiting for over a month for a new motor. He didn’t have the common decency to get off his forklift and talk to me in person after complete silence on his end for over a week. He is more interested in his new (but very poor) remodels going on around him than even simple customer service. When you see the lack of care and craftsmanship in the cheap remodel, you can be sure that’s the same care and quality Pete will put into your boat and service. Please take this review seriously and decide if this is where you want to spend your hard earned money.

I diagnosed my own engine and I came there to buy parts,pete chewed me out and said I was going to burn my boat up doing that.(I know how to work on engines) I decided to go to last chance marine in hemet and OMG what nice people and service and a shop so clean you would eat off the floor.pete is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff but lacks customer service something terrible. I recomend last chance and youll see why.

If I could give no stars, I would. Took my boat in for the 100 hour maintenance and he quoted me $450 and said to drop it off Saturday morning. When I went to get it after calling with no answer, he said 2 guys called off and he didnt get it done. Okay... Monday. Again, he does not get it done, doesnt bother to call, and no answer if I call. Finally... Tuesday when I call he answers and says it is done. Then tries to charge me $726!! After I complain he drops it to $645 and says he had to change the plugs, too... never called to discuss it, nothing. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM SHOP.

Terrible.. unwelcoming,unfriendly and 100% rude! If you have a question about boating parts dont come here .... might as well do what the owner assumed my husband had done.... ORDER ONLINE! Extremely unreasonable prices and awful customer service... take your business elsewhere forsure

I cant say enough good things about Pete and Temecula Speed and Marine. I was selling a boat on a Saturday and was test driving with the new owner when my water pump stopped working. I called Pete, who has serviced my boat for several seasons and he said bring it on down. They not only replaced the water pump immediately, they tested the batteries and ballast pump at my request and got them replaced in time to test drive the boat with the new owner the same day - a Saturday! I dont expect that kind of attention when circumstances arent extenuating, but Temecula Speed and Marine came through for me and Im so grateful. The new owner was so impressed that I had such a competent mechanic that he was confident in the maintenance history of the boat and didnt even negotiate the price. Thanks Pete!

I ask to service my boat agree for the price told me it would be done after couple of weeks, Ive been calling and told me that it would take another couple of weeks to finish the service. Its been 3 MONTHS now and they still they havent done anything. I decided to go somewhere else, didnt give me any of my refund. I Missed fishing on summer because of them and they are very very Horrible business... -1 STAR

I dont know how this place has 4.4 on google. Maybe family and friends? But on yelp its two stars. I GIVE IT ONE STAR. No stars if i could!!!!! I dont know if the dude is going crazy or what. But long story short he had my boat for two weeks. Every time I called him he told me a different story. So after all the BS I told them leave my boat alone dont touch it. And then he actually called me back! He told me do you trust the guy bought this from do you know him how long have you know him because the oil is pitch black I said I just checked before I bought it and test drive it, it looked new! So I went to Temecula speed and marine hooked up my boat walked inside and said we square? He didnt even look at me in the eye and said yeah you dont own me anything because he didnt even look at the thing! Theres a lot more to the story but Im not trying to write a book. TEMECULA SPEED AND MARINE SUCK!

This place is not a place for any fisherman to be..Over charge and plus your boat never get fix..I got charged for three hour just for replacing a fuel line and that wasnt even the problem. They say Pete was an honest guy, so I decided to bring my boat there. Quest I found out the expensive way. What an experience..

These guys are great. I called Pete at 10am on a Saturday to ask how long it would take for them to repack my direct drive. I was shocked when he said bring it in now and we will have it back to you by 6pm. I called at least 6 other boat repair shops and the wait was going to be 4+ weeks. So i drove up there from fallbrook and dropped off the boat. Pete took it right in and told me his boat tech would check it out after he got back from testing another boat out. So the wife and i jetted off to go grab some lunch. 5:30 rolls around and Pete calls us to let us know the boat is done. Again jaw dropped that we even got a call back, we head back over there.Pete greeted us as we pulled up and even helped me hook up the trailer. He tells me the packing wasnt bad just the locking nut was loose. I ask him how much i owed him, he says Dont owe us anything, Being the first time i have ever heard that in California i was shocked. But i told him we couldnt do that and paid for the labor.Petes customer service was great, we talked outside for at-least 45 mins just about boating and where i was from (stationed here USMC). It was like talking with an old friend from back home, we dont ever find that kind of service out here. We will recommend this shop to anyone we ever come in contact with that needs boat repair. These guys are Honest and thats hard to find these days, they could have dragged us across the coals and just told us the repacking was needed and they didnt. In my book if you go to any other boat shop you are missing out.Dont get these guys confused with Temecula Boat Center....the reason we went here was after reading the reviews for Temecula Boat Center.

Do yourself a favor and go to Last chance, unless you have a rowboat then maybe.
