Two times in a row I was given exceptionally LOW prices on used pistol magazines they have in the bins!

Update: The manager Tony is helping me get my issue resolved which is the most important part. Many times you can have an issue with a business whether it is malicious, an oversight or them maybe not having all the information and the big difference is alot of businesses dont bother trying to make it right or you have to fight to fix it. The first call I made to them and they are going to rectify the situation so I would highly recommend using them for buying or selling of Guns and Ammunition

I have been buying guns in Phoenix area sense I was about 20 years old. I’m 44 now and I have been to many gun stores in pawnshops. Arizona Firearms is currently my favorite store to go to. Their customer service and pricing and desire to make you happy and give you a fair deal is off the charts. As with anything some people have different experiences but I would say this is one of the best places to buy a gun in Arizona. Thank you my friends at Arizona Firearms for giving me the experience I have when I walk into your store.Highly recommend!

Excellent customer service at this store. The day I went in, the shop was extremely busy. I spent about three hours looking around for a number of different items. There were probably 30 or 40 people in and out of the store through the entire time I was there, and only about six staff members. Even with such a large influx of business, the staff were all incredibly professional, helpful, and kind towards everyone. I dont think anyone waited longer than about five minutes to be helped, and everyone seemed very happy with the service they received.Mark was particularly helpful to me. When I arrived at the shop, I gave him a list of things I was looking for. He stuck with me through the entire time, showing me a number of firearms, optics, accessories, explaining the features of each one. He obviously knew his stuff and was quite passionate about his work. Overall the customer service was excellent and I fully intend to return as many times as possible. This will be my go-to shop from now on, and Ill be sure to send all my friends their way as well.

Im 66 and never owned or wanted a firearm my whole life until the recent events under the Biden adminitration. Last time I shot a weapon was in 1973 in basic training. Purchased a Taurus hand gun just for basically home protection, and I did a little pre research ahead of time to not appear too ignorant about guns. The guys there are good to work with, and I never felt oversteered towards a certain gun or price range. I almost considered a shotgun, and I was even goo-gawing over a Vietnam era 20 round clipped rifle with the neat dark brown wood stock.

I just left the location in Tempe and the fellas were great guys and showed me and my friends some great guns and we made some purchases. Christian and Shane are real cool. Im moving here from California and they had a lot of knowledge to share.

You know what? Recently every single time I’ve called and went into AZ Firearms they’ve had plenty of Hollowpoints for me when it’s time to cycle my carry ammo. Today it took maybe 5 minutes to get my ammo and get out, the gentleman who helped me gave me a few free stickers since I had to step over a few steps because one register was down. I didn’t get his name but he and everyone there is SUPER friendly, what more could you ask for in a ammo/gun “crisis”. Strongly suggest these guys. (Their hollowpoint ammo is pretty on par with pre pandemic pricing. No gouging in here.)

The guys here are the absolute greatest! Patient, unparalleled professionalism, and down to earth. The communication via email is excellent, they get back to you within 1 business day even though I know they’re crazy busy. Last time I was in, a new gun owner (like so many others) was there at the same time, asking newbie type questions (we’ve all been there, right?) and the guy helping him extremely patient and took the time to answer his questions and provide adequate education. I picked up my transfer without a hitch. Was even able to snag some ammo they had in stock. Great service, best guys. Highly recommended.

An extremely knowledgable and friendly staff. When I walked in there I was greeted by pretty much everyone in there, even staff with customers, I could hear the staff teaching and explaining to customers about products in effective and pleasant manners. I also saw the staff go to great lengths to go and track down parts and other items that customers couldn’t find other places. One staff member had a guy come in specifically to see him to help him customize a rifle with parts. The staff member put all the items on the rifle and explained everything. When it was done the customer told him he’d be coming back again to see the staff member. From their exchange I could tell this gentleman comes in often to see that particular staff member. That’s some great customer service. Everyone other shop is cleared out of inventory, but these guys work hard to keep the cases filled with firearms, ammo, and accessories. The store also doesn’t price gouge which is great to see. Some other places treat you like you’re an inconvenience and I never saw that or felt that. And if they don’t have what you’re looking for they have no problem trying to order you the item or help you however they can. Even suggesting other places to purchase the item. Talk about customer service. Definitely would recommend. 5 out 5 Stars. My new gun shop.

The atmosphere here was inviting and relaxing to say the least, these folks stepped right up to make sure my questions were answered in their entirety. Prices are certainly competitive and their inventory was very impressive. Had a great afternoon, tons of eye candy to sade the largest gun appetite.

This place is a secret sleeper and a great location close to the old town area. I left a review on the chandler page because at the time the tempe location did not have a google page! AZ Guns has great customer service and very knowledgable. I am a female purchaing 9mm rounds and they helped me pickout the right grain for what I needed to do! I took my wife in here to get her a smaller pistol for her to enjoy when we go to the range and for self defense purposes god forbid she ever needs it.. anyways this place was swamped hardly walking room inside, but in a few minutes a young man started helping us he was fairly knowledgeable and very polite. We had such a good experience and found another gun we were interested in so we got her a Ruger 9mm PCC to go with her Ruger LCP .22lr a couple boxes of ammo as well. Like I said it was crowded so we went home to wait for the government to clear the purchase and they called us promptly and all in all maybe an hour to purchase both, ammo, and I picked up an extra clip since we were there. (3 months later) my wife is having something shipped to them as well for a very affordable fee from a custom smith again very polite to her on the phone call only took about 2 minutes to get it taken care of so were sold lifelong customers now. You just dont get manners, knowledge, and just plain good business like that anymore. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a new addition or a first time owner.-Dale& Ashley K.

I was at this shop today. There were 3 customers and 4 employees working not one of them said a word to me. I view this as very rude and not caring for the customer. I will definitely not be back.

Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about most firearms aside from the occasional odd piece. Was helped by a employee named Dan who held the firearm I wanted in advance for me for an expedient checkout. Good selection even during the panic buy. Strongly recommend a visit to those who havent been.

This was the first gun store I visited when I first moved to Arizona. Since then I’ve visited other shops around the Phoenix area and non compare to Arizona Firearms Tempe location. The staff there is very friendly and are always helpful with any questions you may have. You are able to browse their wide selection of firearms without being hassled or pressured at all. My girlfriend who has just gotten into guns has gone there and loves this location as well over others we have visited. She is very new and never feels looked down upon when asking questions about a particular firearm. They are eager to share knowledge. Sometimes we like to visit just to talk to the staff, Dave especially. I recommend coming here for all your gun needs. Great people great selection and great prices.

I went through this shop to have my gun shipped to me from another state. Bad experience. First, it took them A MONTH to respond to the other shop. Seriously??? Second, when i went to pick it up, the young man helping me clearly didn’t know what the $@$! he was doing. What should’ve been a quick pick up took me well over an hour (and I’m not counting the time waiting in line due to Covid requirements). He didn’t even know where to find the gun, asked me multiple times for the same info I’d already provided, etc. The lady at the door was nice, but otherwise it was a terrible experience. I won’t be going back.

I was on a trip visiting family and wanted to purchase 3 boxes of pistol ammo to shoot while I was here and was turned down because I had a CADL. The person ringing me up was sympathetic but boss man said no. I asked if it was state law or store policy and he told me he had a problem with Californians buying ammo and taking it home. I’m giving this review 2 stars instead of 1 because at least they weren’t rude or lie about it.I wasn’t looking to do anything illegal but my purchase was denied out of anti Californian sentiment, not a good look for a business that should support second amendment freedoms whenever possible.

WARNINGThis place is a total ripoffI bought a Smith & Wesson m&p 9 mm and the guy who did the paper work told me you can return it within 60 days full refund.i wanted the one with trigger safety not a thumb safety he said we dont have it but if u want get other item we will refund full amount and when i looked for the one with only the trigger safety 45cal was 570$ or they can refund a 300$ of 400$ . Pretty much they force u to buy a different firearm and pay extra money to not loose half of what u paid. Yall are a ripoff and i will tell all my friends about this place.money is nothing to me but the fact taking advantage of people

The “great customer service” disappears VERY quickly when you’re doing the paperwork. I would absolutely NOT recommend this shop to any first time gun buyer. They make you extremely nervous when filling out the paperwork, they do a very poor job explaining the process to you and and will get very angry with you if you don’t know something that is common knowledge to a regular gun owner. Overall poor, rude, and hostile experience, walked away from a sale due to this and will be taking by business elsewhere!

They are always so nice and well priced! Ive gone in a couple times with my husband and they also dont treat me like just his wife but ask if I need help or want to look at anything, which is nice compared to other gun shops we have gone to. Definitely recommend.

I went in to purchase a gun and the customer service was horrible they were immediately judgemental the second I was seenn,👎 then I filled out the paperwork to get my background and everything still giving them a chance, then I was told its a 3day wait but I needed to come back in 4days I asked why they all had NO answer for my questions. When the 4th day comes I get there no change in attitude from anyone working. I proceeded to where the gun was located and it was sold.👎I asked whats up they explained we dont hold anything overall this was a first time at this location and my last I would not recommend them to anyone I do recommend that you see this store and honestly keep on driving.

Fantastic experience. Ordered an M&P 45 online, was immediately emailed by an employee letting me know of a timeline to pick up. Was called two days before expected saying it was ready, went to pick it up and was in and out in 10 minutes. Great customer service, good selection, and cool people. I purchased a rifle online and had it shipped here. The staff were very knowledgeable and were happy to help me with some accessories including mounting a few sights up so that I could get a feel for them. The costs on the mag and sight I bought were competitive with online stores.

Terrible. Since they are an FFL I decided to order my firearm online and have it delivered here. It was unorganized, sarcastic and unprofessional. I advise to look elsewhere.

I traded in three guns and got a new one, and I was given a very fair deal considering I looked up what the guns sell outright. I was a frequent shopper at AZ firearms, was not thrilled with the shop but there was some ok deals here and there. I will no longer be going to the shop due to the fact that 4 of their employees were unable to explain to me some ATF law that prohibits the sale of under-folder rifles to gun owners between 18-20 where as other guns stores are legally able to sell them to people of the age. I was very dissatisfied with their lack of knowledge and help and will no longer be returning to do business there.

I came into town a few days ago and went to several gun shops. When I got to this place to say that I was in Hog Heaven would be a massive understatement. The folks there were very friendly and helpful with an out of stater. Their selection was varied and priced to sell. I would most highly recommended doing business with this outfit. I will be coming back asap.

Ive been here a couple of times to look around. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and was quick to answer any questions. I have never owned a firearm before and I was completely knew to them. It was a little intimidating since there is a lot to choose from but the staff here was happy to assist me and give me their advice. I ended up buying a firearm from here and the process was simple and fast. I am extremely happy with my purchase and how they handled their business. If you are looking to purchase a firearm have a look here before you visit a big chain store.

I gotta tell you I was really disappointed visiting here last time.Shop owner talked over me multiple times, clearly tried pull one over on me with the scope of my fathers rifles. All customers deserve the same level of respect. Sadly I wont bring any of my other rifles here. Very disappointed after a great experience the first time.

I was a first time gun buyer in a very busy time in gun buying. The staff was very helpful and the guy behind the counter was awesome. Told me everything about the type of gun I wanted to buy, showed me positive and negatives about every pistol very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The personnel there is really friendly and knowledgeable. Even tough I never bought anything from them, just FFL transfers, they never tried to sell me something I didnt want. Probably the only store in the Valley that wont grab you immediately to sell you stuff. You can look as much as you want and make a decision. Also, they are as smooth as butter. Transaction with them is a breeze.

If I could give this store a zero I would, we walked in looking to find a holster for our 2 hand guns. After working with an employee we were approached by Matthew, who stated you cant be here smelling like weed, it is a federal law. Of the 5 customers in the building, 3 Hispanic, 1 black man, and 1 white woman. For the record it was not us smelling so strongly, but did he tell anyone else this? No the individual smelling so strongly was allowed to stay in the building. The black man was profiled and told leave the store or they will call the cops. Upon leaving we went to the next store and watched to see if the actual culprit was asked to leave. After 5 minutes they still had not left.

Great inventory, but are really busy sometimes there. Customer service wasnt the best unless you talk to JP the owner or Pops.If you want a new gun always ask what the gun comes with... they sometimes swap the mags out or take the new ones and replace them with used ones. Also more than once I was told an item was brand new and it had obvious signs it had been fired before... also holster wear and nicks and dings etc.Make sure you know what your looking for, dont let them push a sale on you. On occasion they will BS you facts just to sell the gun.Other than that they have a huge selection and decent prices and I still do transfers with them.

I purchased a used rifle from Arizona Firearms on Gunbroker. Unfortunately, when it arrived, I noticed it had some not-so-obvious, but substantive damage. The barrel was bent and the trigger guard was cracked in a place that you wouldn’t easily spot in a quick examination of the gun.I contacted them and showed them some pictures, asking if they’d issue a refund. They were very understanding and apologetic for the oversight. They immediately offered to make it right by either covering the cost of repairs or issuing a full refund.While it’s unfortunate that the gun didn’t work out, I was blown away by the integrity they showed during the whole process. Would not hesitate to do business with them again.

Be advised, NON of the employees here wears a mask and they let people in without one too. Really unsafe here, got in and out the same way I came in.

Sadly I had already bought 2 firearms the day before I found this place but they have great deals and the staff is very friendly and know their stuff. I will definitely be back in the future.
