Well, I didnt find out until later that this shop is supposed to be teen oriented. Im a whole generation older, and I felt right at home. Bought a completely awesome Dr Who jacket, and was treated like a guest by the gorgeous staff members. So much pop culture inspired stuff, and not just tshirts. Prices on everything seemed really good too.

Nice and clean and they were stocked up on Merch. I ended up buying a bunch of POPS for $9 a POP. 🥰 Got some Hot Topic cash I can use for next month too and save some money. The Cashier that helped me was awesome as well. Was a good visit.

Great customer service! The store is organized and clean. Plenty of shirt options and accessories. It is located near the theater. Will definitely always shop at this location.

Due to COVID, the store is not allowing customers to come and go freely, as they need to limit the amount of shoppers. This is understandable - and I am okay with that - however, when you have people standing in line for 30 - 45 minutes... you need to either allow people to order online and pick up within an immediate timeframe if they are in line already, or limit the time customers are given within the store to avoid loitering/idle customers.

The Hot Topic at Tempe Marketplace is the best one in the Phoenix area. The team members there are cool and helpful but never pushy. Theyre doing a great job of keeping the shopping environment safe right now.

Brought my daughter in a couple of weeks ago. Employee at front of the store spent most of the time playing on their phone. Then, I got tired of waiting for them to become attentive to customers and helped myself get a few items down. The employee came running back reprimanding me like a small child. Never experienced behavior like that in this location before, but it was beyond offputting.

The only place who mandated masks at the beginning of the pandemic. They also provide curbside pickup. I have a weak immune system so these things are a show of caring for the customer

Was very happy with the way they used the guidelines. There were three of us. My husband had to wait to go in cause they only allowed so many people in.

The staff here is so fun and friendly. Limiting number of people in the store but the staff never rushes you.

The Tempe Marketplace Hot Topic is the best in all of Phoenix and surrounding cities. They have the best staff and keep their store extremely organized. I will drive across town because I enjoy my Hot Topic experience more at the Tempe location.

DID YOU KNOW THIS ABOUT HOT TOPIC!!!!!There is something that I will fill you in on about Hot Topic that very few people know about. If you travel to colder areas like parts of Canada and Alaska these places are called Cold Topic. Why? Because they area in really cold areas.

This place is great. If you are looking for something unique and/or different from the run of the mill, this is the place to go. I can, and have, spent hours in this store. Cool vibe.

I placed an online order for a pair of Jack Skellington combat boots and a set of 7 Rick & Morty socks several weeks back. On 11/26 I received an email to notify me the order arrived at Tempe marketplace and that I had 7 days to pick up. On 11/30 I received another email that my order was unavailable for fulfillment due to the items being abandoned!! When I reached out to customer service online helpdesk they stated the same thing, apparently the store employees and Hot Topics service helpdesk do not know how to count. 11/30-11/26=4 days not 7!! The reason this is upsetting is because it was supposed to be the gift for secret Santa this coming Friday. No one cares enough to fix this! Im giving it an extra star only because their 1-800 customer service did in fact acknowledge this as bad company practice. They offered a compensation (which I declined) but they will report this... I want people to be aware that the Tempe Marketplace store does not follow the company 7 days pick up policy to the T. Yes I will make the assumption that because the boots were an online exclusive, someone at the store decided to cancel early and bought/kept for themselves! Shame on you!

This store is super convenient and surrounded by a lot of other stores that you could want to go to. They are always having good sales, and if you join the H+ club, which is free, you get even more deals and discounts. The staff has always been pretty helpful.

I visited this store today to purchase BT21 headbands. When the employee showed me where they were, he said something negative about BTS (the band that helped create BT21 merchandise). I was surprised and then pretended that I didnt know who BTS was. When the same employee came back, I asked him to describe BTS to me. He then proceeded to tell absolute lies, one being that BTS sold their lives to their company, didnt create the characters they drew (theres a YouTube series all about BTS creating BT21), said BTS only have one album which was released this year when in actuality BTS have been making albums since 2013, and finally said that the characters are 3rd grade drawings, which I took to personal offence since I am 22 years old and think BT21 are adorable and worth my money.Overall he made the product and BTS sound very negative and that I shouldnt buy the product, which could affect future sales if someone who doesnt know BT21 or BTS asks him to explain what the product is.This may seem like Im cherry picking an issue here, but I think it is important that employees are educated about the products being sold and show the products in a positive light.Other than that, the checkout woman was very nice and helpful!
