Quaint with good drinks. My new favorite tea place to study close to home. It’s cool inside until the sun starts to set, then can get a bit warm with all the patrons. Had trouble connecting to wifi on my laptop but no problem with my phone. Other people were also having the same issue. The older couple (owners?) who work here are very nice but have some difficulty understanding English, which is fine but you may find yourself repeating or using Google translate. It can get crowded in the late afternoon and I wouldn’t say we’re 6’ apart. I enjoy coming here since it’s close by. I’m excited to try their other drinks. I had the waffle sundae which was good a bit dense, and very filling.

In every city or town cafes are ubiquitous, however, finding a really good cafe is hard to find. Café Roulé is a cute tiny corner cafe that offers good food and drinks. Interior atmosphere was very chill and inviting. Interior decor was cute with their wall riddled with miniature positive message cards and a large neon logo of Cafe Roulé. I came in and was immediately offered an effusive welcome albeit perfunctory by a staff. I ordered a hazelnut latte and tuna melt for breakfast. Hazelnut latte was good. Similarly, their tuna melt (served with salad) sandwich was warm, soft, fresh and delicious. I loved it. Prices were fair. Free WiFi available. Service was moderately fast. Rear and street metered parking are available. Overall, I recommend this place and will come back and try other food/drinks.

Great study spot. Only some tables have an outlet close to them for charging. Play lofi beats for the study vibes. Drinks are a bit pricey.

I got the Rose Milk Green Tea. Although it tasted like perfume, thats exactly what it should taste like. I wouldnt get it again but I know its high quality. 🌹

Love how relaxing the LoFi is. The drinks are pretty decent as well. I had the white chocolate and matcha tea. The staff is a bit robotic and awkward admittedly. But they were relatively quick. The Belgian waffle was fine, your standard Belgian waffle I mean. It had a chocolate drizzle which I wasnt aware of. I think they should ask if it should have a topping, a selection of them and inform if it adds to the price. The syrup on the side makes sense but it did seem a bit bland. So it wasnt remarkable, just decent. The atmosphere is very quaint.

Honey lemon lavender: light on lemon flavor, strong lavender and honey. Seems to be real honey. Very floral flavor that starts with lavender and ends with honey. Would def recommend.Service: Super friendly and polite.

Cafe Roule is AMAZING! Cafe Roule is a hidden gem in the San Gabriel Valley. We tried Cafe Roule for the first time this past weekend and we LOVED IT!As soon as you enter, there is a wall full of positive messages that customers have left; which adds a nice and personal touch to the ambiance of the coffee shop. If it wasnt for COVID restrictions, Cafe Roule would be the perfect place to chill, study, etc. Right now, they have about two tables outside.Their drink menu is diverse, they have a large variety of coffes, teas, milk teas and matcha drinks.I tried the Rose Matcha and it was delicious. It was not overly sweet, I was able to taste the sweet tea and the matcha. Love how much attention to detail the staff puts into the drink. When they serve the drink, you are able to see the layers of each component. It had a pink layer to represent the rose tea and the green layer to represent Matcha.My sister ordered the Matcha Espresso and she loved it. All coffee components served at Cafe Roule are from Klatch Coffee.Cant wait to go back to the SGV area and stop by Cafe Roule to try their other drinks.

Smallish quiet place for coffee and sweet bites, they have matcha waffles & drinks plus several coffees. Friendly service, street parking or at the back.

Monthly rotating drink specials, if you order to go. The music is not loud or obnoxious making it a perfect study spot. Got the Hokaido Matcha and it was delicious! Leans towards the sweet side which I normally dont care for. But still good.

Im not usually a huge coffee drinker, but this was amazing! We got the Hanoi Insanity Coffee (golden egg with coffee) $5 flat. You can choose from hot or iced. The hot version looks good in photos, but we wanted something cold. Ive never heard of anything like this, so I had to give it a try. It was way better than I expected. Its creamy, has just enough sweetness, and with a very light hint of egg flavor. It almost tastes like a creamy and sweeter version of Vietnamese iced coffee. Try and GET this!

Cozy place with refreshing drinks. Very Asian. The counter near the window is kinda narrow for big laptops though.

Overpriced, I ordered a drink and it wasnt even filled up to a decent amount looks like someone drank from it. The customer service is also really bad, everyone looks dead there if not theyll treat you rudely.

Good food. Wish the popcorn chicken was spicy but other than that the parking, seating, and drinks are great. Good wifi. Edit: You keep running out of boba :(

This spot sure knows how to satisfy their customers. Constantly with a helpful attitude. The food is conveniently priced, always tasty and clean.

On a cold rainy winter day my fiancé and I knew we needed coffee but we wanted something real, so glad this was our choice. We went to Griot Cafe for the first time and it was the perfect pick. From the honey coconut coffee to the beignets it was everything you need to warm up. Plus the two gentlemen working, owners maybe I didnt ask, were great guys. Having great staff, food, and coffee what else to you need from a home away from home cafe! Go here and enjoy :)

This is a small location that doesnt really have a lot of crazy decor outside for you to easily spot the eatery.Most people come here to study, which is a perfect place for it because they serve food, snacks and tea drinks so students can stay all day without having to step outside for nutrition!I had their green honey tea modified with 1/2 less sugar and less ice. It came out to be perfect. So I can imagine that the full amount of sugar must be too sweet, FYI.

Nice atmosphere as well with lots of seating. Worth checking out if your in the mood for food!

The best cafe you could imagine. Very quite and full of people working. Super fast wifi plus a lot of charging ports. Perfect for studying and just chilling in general. Woould come for it again!

First time here. I wasnt sure what to get, so I went with what my friends ordered: strawberry coconut matcha. At first it was a bit sweet. After moving the strawberry coconut with the matcha, there was barely any sweetness to it.Couldnt help but notice that they also have white peach matcha. Maybe Ill try that one next time Im around.

Drinks are good. Reasonably priced. Food not bad. Free wifi. The girl server there on the Saturday night was nice. The new guy in the back was in training and mixed up our food orders (in quote cuz it wasnt verified, but we chose to believe her as she was busy with both the front counter and going working in the kitchen). She was apologetic and comped us a snack and drinks for the wait.

Location is pretty hidden, you gotta keep your eyes peel to find the spot!I noticed the excellent reviews on yelp and thought i must come and check it out.I believe the great reviews comes from students looking for a coffee shop that offers asian flavors and sick of $4 Starbucks!I ordered the veggie burger combo ( paired with any tea of my choosing, from lychee to honey milk tea) all at $5. Not terrible for a cute little meal.I loved that they added pesto which really made essentially a grilled cheese sandwich taste better.Free Wifi!

Guy behind the counter was nice enough, but hes the only employee so sandwiches took 30 minutes with no previous customers, cause he had to take in orders instead of making sandwiches. Manager is rarely present to help out; this place is criminally understaffed.

Long story short, I love the wifi speed they have there.

Like all the other reviews, I love love love their pomogranate green tea lemonade. I usually ask them for half suger. I get this all the time!The noise level is perfect for chatting because there is some background music, but quiet enough to get some studying or work done. The wifi is fast here and its consistent, unlike other wifi places Ive been to. The chairs are decent, wish they had cushions, but cant expect it to be like home at a cafe.Parking lot is very small and the front and side have limited time (2 and 1 hour, respectively). I dont like taking the risk and just park in the residential area behind the store. Its not much of a walk, think of it as exercise for the drink.Their sandwiches are also amazing. I recommend the house special on a toasted croissant.
