From the moment you walk into the office you get a warm and serene feeling. It’s a theme that follows through the entire appointment from the front desk to Dr Barnes. Dr Monica Barnes is extremely knowledgeable and personable making the entire experience pleasant. It was my first time at an audiologist and she made me feel at ease. I highly recommend her for all your audiology needs.She also made me custom ear plugs that I needed for my job. They are a perfect fit! Thank you!She also informed me that she sees children. I will be returning with my children to have her examine them as well.

I have been wearing hearing aids for 26 years, and Doctor Barnes is by far the best audiologist I have ever been too! She is so wonderful, VERY knowledgeable, honest, and makes you feel that you and your hearing is her top priority!!I had an appointment to get fitted for new hearing aids. Doctor Barnes walked me through all my options, listened to what I wanted in new hearing aids, and we talked through the different types of hearing aids... Two weeks later, I have my new hearing aids, and I LOVE THEM! Thanks to Doctor Barnes and Family Hearing Center. Also, David at the receptionists desk is fantastic!!

I found Dr Barnes through a search for a provider who works through the hear now program. Ironically her office happen to be right down the street from where my family and I use to go to church so I had passed there numerous times before. Anyhow, my initial appointment with Dr Barnes I really liked her warmness and smile and professionalism. She listens to you and lets you explain what you experience in a day to day basis with your hearing. Then she actually takes her time to test you and diagnose you and give you the best course to help you hear better again. She had initially recommended that I get the cochlear implants but due to the fact that I have dealt with my hearing loss for so long I did not want to take that route I was ready to hear again already! So she ordered the hearing aids for me and ever since I have had them she has been excellent with the post care of making sure the hearing settings were comfortable for me and always being available to adjust anything if need to not to mention she has never charged me for batteries or any cleaning supplies after paying for the hearing aids which I appreciate very much. I love the fact that her practice is family owned and run. They all are such sweet and caring people. I would highly recommend Dr Barnes to anyone who is experiencing hearing problems! Shes the absolute best! Thank you Dr Barnes!

I had a wonderful experience here at Family Hearing Center !! I had previously visited a different clinic a few days before where I had treatment done that left me in pain in one of my ears. But I was very fortunate to have found Dr. Barnes and her amazing team!as soon as I walked into their office the atmosphere was very welcoming, I was greeted with a smile . She’s such a sweet and compassionate Doctor . She was able to see me right away, addressed my pain and even took the time to explain and even show me in detail through photos what was going on inside my ear. I can’t thank Dr. Barnes and her team enough !

Dr. Barnes is very professional and walks you through every step of the process, which is extensive. There have been numerous follow-up visits to tweak the various frequency ranges as my brain adjusts to the new experience, and never a charge for anything after paying for the hearing aids. I started out with CICs, but they did not work out as expected. Dr. Barnes changed them to RICs and I could not be happier. It is really great hearing well again. I highly recommend Family Hearing Center and Dr. Barnes.UPDATE: I rarely give a review until enough time has passed to be sure there are no surprises, and 4 months have passed since this review was posted. The only surprises are the always smiling service and competent care. Dr. Barnes shows the utmost care and concern for her patients and is there for you every step of the way. Still 5 Stars.

The ENT doctor wanted my 4 year old to have a full hearing evaluation done before he proceeded with making any further diagnoses. My child will not let any doctor or nurse come near her ears. It is always a battle trying to see in them because of excess wax. Because of this I was extremely nervous about how the hearing exam would go. I cannot express enough how wrong I was! From the moment we entered the office my daughter was made to feel comfortable- it was like Dr. Barnes was The Kid Whisperer . My daughter left the office never really knowing she had just had her hearing evaluated. She thought they were playing a game the entire time! I recommend this audiologist to anyone who has an apprehensive child- no, I recommended her to EVERYONE! Keep up the great work...you are amazing!

Dr. Barnes is a knowledgeable and compassionate audiologist. We are very lucky to have found her and have her in our community. She helped a family member of mine with tinnitus and hearing loss. I could not recommend her more highly.
