We got our sons smash cake and cupcakes from here and we are very pleased! The ladies did an awesome job! It was just like picture I sent them. The process of ordering is very simple. This was my sons first birthday so after they confirmed the email that they are able to do the order, I just had to follow-up once and pick a date for pickup and pay. Because it was a custom order, it was a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The taste, the icing, the cake, everything was delicious! They definitely have me as a return customer! This place is adorable! Very friendly staff. Cupcakes are sooo good! They are rich and sweet so I do recommend sharing one if you dont have a huge sweet tooth.Will definitely return:)

If you don’t have a sweet tooth beware the icing goes in the cupcake. It was quite heavy and filling. It was too much icing for me I ended up removing the icing from the top since it had it in the middle as well. The cake was very moist I am all for naked moist cake without all the extra icing. This was a good experience and I will return

Editing my old review since for some reason I can not add a new one.Even though I had already made my mind up that Gogos definitely blew this place out of the water, I decided to give them a second chance. They are just not good, like at all. Each different flavor tastes very generic instead of really tasting like the actual flavor itself. The icing has a very artificial taste and is way too heavy (this is coming from a sweets fiend by the way). Literally the only good thing I have to say about this place is how they make the cupcakes look (very pleasing to the eye as you can see pictured below). But presentation and looks mean nothing when the actual product itself is bad.So I said it before and I will say it again, IF YOU WANT A WAY BETTER CUPCAKE GO TO GOGOS!

Super cute soda shop decor, very clean, great selection of baked goods and ice cream. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend the cupcake smash! Smash; 3 scoops of your favorite ice cream along with your favorite cupcake. They put the bottom half of cupcake in cup, then add ice cream. Then place cupcake topper on top of ice cream scoops. Viola! You can also get a shake with a cupcake blended into your ice cream. 🧁🧁🧁

Cupcakes were fine. Service abominable. It was one thing to have to drive all the way back to the store to get their mistake corrected, but unacceptable the way we were treated when we asked them to make it right. The young girl behind the counter was incapable of acknowledging her mistake and also unwilling to make it right. She was rude and argumentative and I felt embarrassed for both her and her manager. The manager or whoever was in the back that had to come out and set an example of what to do and how to treat a customerfor the counter girl did make it right, but I never received an apology. I have been visiting Temple fur 3 weeks now, and have been having a lovely time, but this experience was horrible. Customer service should be reevaluated at this store. By the time I left, I was just beside myself. Not the condition in which Id want my customers to leave...

Were chocolate fiends. They have what we want. Their cupcakes stay moist and slurp drooly delish! Not only are they an attractive display, but also a crave satisfying pie hole stuffer. For a dozen, look to spend around $30+ (comparable to a quarter sheet cake).

The order I placed with SmallCakes was NOT done as I ordered so I was upset and inconvenienced. They offered to fix it or refund me and of course I needed it fixed since it was too late to go elsewhere. Other than the mishap the cupcakes were very Delicious, Flavorful and Moist. I would suggest reading the orders more carefully.

The cupcakes have really good flavor but I dont know if its because they sit out in the open or what the icing and outside of cakes are hard they just didnt have a fresh taste kind if like day old bread... Im sure if you get there when they are fresh they are really good.

Five of five stars. This is a premier vendor, that delivers a premium product. I favor products other than traditional chocolate or vanilla, and what is notable is the lack or anything artificial afterwards. That does not imply that they do not use any artificial ingredients, only that they are skillful in delivering flavors that are pleasant. The big question is almost always price; and these offerings are not inexpensive, but you are getting a hand crafted product from an artisan. Yes, yes, HEB and WalMart sell cupcakes as well, but there is a noticable difference in texture and taste. None of it is exactly good for you, so if you are going to indulge, make the effort to get a better product.

The ice cream is really good. I would highly recommend the milkshakes.

I am so impressed with Smallcakes commitment to their customers and their ability to work under pressure. I ordered my wedding cake from Smallcakes this September for my micro wedding. Thirty minutes before my ceremony was scheduled, I received a phone call from Smallcakes--there was an accident, and my cake had been dropped. Obviously this was devastating news to receive as I was climbing into my wedding dress. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very calm, and assured me they would bring me a different cake in thirty minutes. I asked them to push it out by an hour and went back to my wedding (a little tearfully!).We had a beautiful ceremony, and I had totally put the cake mishap out of my mind. Just as we were leaving the ceremony area, Smallcakes shows up. And to my surprise and delight, they had the exact cake I had requested!! The Smallcakes team deconstructed two existing cakes to create MY exact wedding cake in less than an hour!I was so impressed and spent the next hour gushing over their customer service. Honestly I think I annoyed some of my guests lol.Thank you SO much to Felicia and her team! You are all certainly in the right industry, thank you so so much.

We ordered my daughters wedding cake from Smallcakes, and I would highly recommend them. We ordered chocolate cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting, the sample was so dang good we ordered a dozen more cupcakes before the wedding! The owner, Brandy, did an amazing job with it, it was decorated so beautifully - she put some of our flowers on it and it was just perfection. It was so delicious- there was none left!! She delivered and decorated it the morning of and it was just completely stress free and a great experience.

The service at this location, oh my is absolutely horrible, and then on top of it my son found a hair in his cupcake and then the service just got worse. I will not be back to this one. Thank God its just as easy for me to go to Wacos location - Where the customer service is PERFECT - maybe they should train Temple.

A posting on the door says face masks required. I walk in to see six customers milling about with no masks to be seen. The kids are bouncing around and yelling. The adults are pacing the area. Worse than that, the woman working behind the counter had her mask pulled down to her chin. She was putting out some fresh, delicious-smelling cupcakes with only one gloved hand (half of them being touched by her bare hand). Why even post anything about masks in the first place?

My first visit was awesome! Decided to take advantage of the waffle cone Wednesday special. I had the birthday cake flavor which was very good. The waffle cone had a great taste (one of the best I ever had.) But what got me the most is the smell of the fresh baked goodies lol. You guys should make a scentsy lol

They made our wedding cakes and they were perfect! Everyone loved the cakes. Lots of compliments on how cute they are (we wanted to have 2 cakes that look like our stuffed animals). The owner was also very nice and helpful when we had to change our order due to covid. Highly recommend!!!

They have great a unique cupcakes and even smaller version of a cake, but you must order the latter in advance.They have a vast selection of cupcakes. My favorite is a vanilla cupcake with Boston creme filling and chocolate frosting. Too bad they only make that kind on Fridays.Prices range from 3 to 4 dollars per cupcake but they delicious.

THE BEST cupcakes Ive ever had. Cupcakes from Walmart & HEB cannot compare! Super moist cupcake and delicious icing. You get what you pay for and these are well worth the cost.

I ordered cakes a variety of them about a few weeks ago for my sons Birthday. I get there the day before assured my order would be ready. I walk in tell them my order and they have no idea. They scramble to put my order together. The amount of money that I spent on my order and lack of respect towards a customer. Next time my business goes somewhere else.

Great flavors, I have my go tos, (Not going to say which, because you will try to get to them before I can.), then deciding on a 3rd and 4th is the hard part. Also great staff.

Weve tried cup cakes, cake pops, and its good. But when I went on Valentines day to get some cake pops and cupcakes cause I received a coupon in the mail and staff said that I couldnt use the coupon cause Small Cakes doesnt accept coupon only one day in the whole year and thats Valentines day. So I paid the full price but there was nothing on my coupon about it not valid on Valentines day, just expired at the end of February.

I have no idea how they stay in business. Ice cream, are heavy, expensive and horrible, over $10 in trash.Cupcakes not that great either.Place is nice, friendly service.

There cupcakes are the bomb! Try out their smashed cupcakes where they split the cupcake in half, put the bottom in a cup, drop in two scoops of any flavor icecream and top it off with the top-half of the cupcake and voila! Their ice creams are all made in house and are so full of yummy flavor and toppings! You will not be disappointed I promise you!

This place is so cozy and retro, I love the 50s theme like the old-fashioned soda-pop machines! Their cupcakes are so cute and delicious! Almost a shame to eat them, they look THAT good haha! The ice cream is AMAZING. The best Ive had. Really. However. Not all of their closing staff has the best customer service skills. My husband is in the hospital around the corner and will be for about 2 months. Im a frequent visitor and like to eat sweets. Sad as it is to say, Ill spend money on a lesser tasting product where I get good service. Where they appreciate their customers. I was expected to carry out 2 single scoops without a lid and then had to negotiate with the staff to get a lid. Im carrying 2 uncovered scoops of ice cream into a hospital. But you didnt get the cups that come with a lid. Those are the double scoops. Really. Thats a shame. I really felt like saying, I no longer want any ice cream. But I took the higher road, and paid for a double scoop, just to get a cup with a lid. 😕

Cup cakes are always bitter due to how much flavor extract they put in the frosting. Got a caramel cupcake today and the pretzels were beyond stale. I’m glad I have never spent my money here and I’m glad the people that have won’t anymore.

Do NOT purchase the French Macarons. Smallcakes doesnt even have the decency to make them homemade in their own bakery. They order them from from another bakery and by the time you purchase them, they are way past stale. The cupcakes dont have much flavor at all, even with the mountain of bland frosting they put on top. Do yourself a favor and go over to Nothing Bundt Cakes. Get yourself a delicious moist cake that they dont leave out on the counter to dry out.

Every experience is amazing. I stopped in today to surprise my brother and his coworkers in Waco with these tastey treats. His job in waco is connected to a bakery. Sadly enough I was not impressed with the bakery and had to show them what an amazing cupcake was all about and I definitely did. 4 out of 6 people instantly said how these cupcakes were so much better. The frosting is light and the perfect balance of sweet to enhance the already moist and delicious cupcake. My experience is always warm and welcoming and I was suprised to know there was a Waco store as well. I definitely recommended to all his coworkers thank you for the perfect treats.

The best cupcakes ever! The ice cream is really good too. Very nice people! The only downfall is the price. The cupcakes are very large but $3.75 is still a little much. If you are just buying 1 or 2 its ok but if you need two dozen for a party you will need a bank loan. The shakes, ice cream sandwiches and cookies filled with icing are good but way over priced. But over all cute place, friendly staff, good location and hands down the best cupcakes!
