I realized why this place is one of the best bagel shop around my area. My favorite bagel is the plain and blueberry. If you are around the area please try celebrity bagels a try.

This bagel store has been my favorite since moving to Tenafly. I never cared to wait in the enormous lines because they were that good. Unfortunately the attitude of one of their employees has left such a distaste for the establishment that I’m not even interested in eating this bagel I just ordered. First I was sneered at for not adding any bacon to my bagel (as if every egg and cheese order is incomplete without it). Then after speaking up about that, the employee started arguing back, chuckling and ridiculing me to my face? Instead of just apologizing for her actions another employee did on her behalf. Can’t say enough how disappointed I am.

The bagels are good but the service is the worst. Literally its as if they are auditioning for a comedy show -- its a total comedy of errors. Then layer the slowness of service on top of that and its a good thing there are no other bagel places in town...

The bagels are good but the service is the worst. Each weekend I have called several times at all various times they are open and absolutely no one even has the decency to pick up the phone. Apparently the owner has zero interest in people calling for takeout orders a day in advance which would total well over $150. Big mistake. Big big mistake. Tenafly is a small town and at this point I’m making sure word gets around everywhere in the town. It really is abhorrent. What business does this? So sad they have made this choice. I will be testing and reviewing all other bagel places so people are aware of who treats customers right as opposed to celebrity bagels.

I liked the blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Didn’t like the plain cream cheese as much but I forgot to ask for my bagels to be slightly toasted. My fiancé liked his everything bagel with cream cheese and lox.

If ordering anything other than a bagel, order before you arrive to save time. I got the Michelle Pfeiffer, which the menu said was a sandwich with chicken dijon with guacamole and bacon. I thought it would be grilled chicken. It was chicken salad topped with guacamole and bacon. Although the three main ingredients were pre-made/pre-cooked, the 5 people behind me all got their orders before my sandwich was finally done. It was painfully slow and I dont think I will get a sandwich again. I will still come back for their bagels. I kept asking the cashier if I could pay and they wont take your money until the order is complete and it has to be the same person who took your order. It was the slowest sandwich Ive had. The sandwich itself was good, hefty size that will tide you over for lunch and dinner.

Long established bagel shop in the Stop & Shop plaza. Good breakfast sandwiches and good bagels. Excellent coffee. Fair prices. Friendly and accommodating. COVID protocols are in place. Plenty of easy parking.

By far one of my favorite bagel places. The bagels are great and fresh but sometimes the line in the mornings are huge, which is understandable. But lady that works there is very sweet and helpful!

Best bagel I have tried so far. Get your own cream cheese from nearby supermarket if you need to feed an army..

Pretty darn good bagels. Better than some of the best bagels in Manhattan . I especially love their mini bagels which have perfect balance of chewiness and denseness. I find their regular sized bagels a bit too pillowy.

Bad atmosphere. Took 20 minutes to order, four workers standing around doing nothing. Asked for extra toasted bagel and the lady showed me a burnt completely black bagel and asked me if it was good. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Decent bagels but painfully slow service

The employee declined to tell me it was an $8 minimum before purchasing my bagel. Very disappointed, that I had to spend more than I wanted to.

They have bad service and they are rude I hate this I come an see a 30 min Wait they ask if you want it more in the toaster I said yes then it’s black just drive 2 min for Cresskill bagels it’s so much better!!! If I could put 0 stars I would Cresskill bagels are awesome

Customer service is extremely slow. They take and make each order one by one. I asked for a plain bagel extra toasted with butter, doesn’t get easier than that. So she toasted it once and showed me to ask if it’s okay, I said a little more toasted please. 5 minutes later she shows me again and it’s burnt black. I told her no it’s too burnt, and she throws her hands up in the air and rolls her eyes.

Nice little place to grab a bagel and table if needed. Loads of parking and super busy in the morning. Great service, professional staff.

Its a stable in our family. My sister whom lives in NJ put us on, and now we drive from the heights to get a good tasting bagel with all the fixings.

This place is a dump. I walked in and had to walk out. If you like yesterdays bagels and 6 hour old coffee this is the place for you.It was decent 20 years ago but now its decrepit and disgusting.Next time i hope the employees treat customers with a little respect

Service is terrible, slow, uninterested, unfriendly, and seemingly confused. Waited in line with two people ahead and took nearly 30 minutes to finally put my order in. Asked for my bagel extra toasted and they couldnt even get that right, the lady ended up burning the bagel till it was black and had the audacity to ask if it was toasted enough and then through her hands up out of anger becauseI told her it was way too burnt, i then canceled my order and went to the friendly staff and bergenfield bakin bagels where I was served quickly and friendly, go there instead u wont regret it. Also the guy behind us was upset also due to the wait and finally went to ask a worker if he could just order 3 bagels and they straight up looked at him and ignored him lol nice service.....

The lady who works here is pretty nice. Much better service than Cresskill Bagels. The bagels are huge and doughy, you can easily share one with two people. Getting fillings is a bit pricey but that seems to be the case in any bagel place in NJ.Egg salad is a bit watery, not my favorite.I like the egg, cheese, and bacon though.The grill closes early, fyi.

Before today I wouldve gave this place 5 stars because I love this place come all the way from north bergen just for these bagels. Until today I called at 1:25 and the line busy.. I finally got an answer at 1:28 ordering a bacon egg and cheese & the lady at the front tells me grill closes at 1:30 everyday and I kindly ask if she can do an exception and she responds how can I do an exception if there cleaning the grill? If the grill closes at 1:30 than start cleaning the grill at that time.. not before. + on the website it says you guys close at 5:00 so I was very confused. You guys should write on here saying that the grill closes at 1:30 everyday so people dont drive 25 minutes for you!!

I just went today, very bad staff, a man with glasses, about 20 years old, a very unhappy face, facing me, talking to him, he is very upset, the food is good, just throw it in On the counter, I asked him: Is it mine? He glanced at me, still didnt have a clear look, didnt know what he said, I was not happy to take something away, then he said to me, and the childrens, F**k off, know this store The things are delicious and famous. The boss doesnt care about the feelings of my diners, but I cant help but say a few words. The bad service will never come again.

The customer service was poor.Send my husband to get bagels for Sunday brunch he didnt realize that there was $10 limit for the credit card so he ask the server if she could add the service fee to the card she was so rude telling him to either go to the atm or dont come back.I would always come to this place for bagels whether its for brunch or for a party.NOT ANYMORE!!
