I was there about a month. My car was using tires very quickly . Way quicker than it should have been. They gave it a look and gave their honest opinion and did what they were able to for me. And also purchased new tires.No Bs, no run around. I will be returning the next time I need tires!

I was on my way to Texas from Ohio and hit a large pothole on the highway. I was so worried that I wouldn’t make it to the hospital in Texas to see my mom who was in bad shape. Someone directed me to Big O and I barely made it. The company made me a priority, found me a tire quickly and got me back on the road in less than an hour. They checked up on me afterwards and made me feel like they cared more about me as a customer rather than as an invoice.I truly appreciated the way that they took care of my my dilemma and got me back on the road. They had me wait two and a half hours to get two new tires put on then they ended up coming out telling me they couldnt put them on because I had stripped lug nuts they didnt even offer to fix the lug nuts said they didnt have any for me to buy and put my tires back on with stripped lug nuts and let me leave

Wonderful experience with courteous staff. An employee named Chris assisted me in getting an alignment for my vehicle. He was friendly, very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. He was even nice enough to check in with updates throughout the wait. I am happy to refer them and even happier with their work.

Had a blowout on the highway just east of Terre Haute in March 2020. This was the best option for repair. In the process they let me know all my tires were near the point of replacing - so I took their word for it. It turns out that though they said they were 4/32 all four had been 7/32 less than 2000 miles earlier.They also charged me for TPMS vales and my car doesnt use those valves.Overall the experience was quick...but in the end they oversold me and put me in tires I didnt need. No response from the owner (though because I got a flat 2 days later in one of the tires I was able to discover that they charged me for something they didnt do and was able to get the valves refunded - but no other compensation was given).I will only return to Big O for rotate and balance. As soon as these tires are at replacement I will quickly take my business elsewhere.

Every time I bring my truck in for repairs or service everybody there always goes above to make sure that Im satisfied. Ive had to have my tires serviced twice in the year since Ive had them and every time ive been able to walk in and get immediate service. I found a bad tire on my vehicle, on a saturday afternoon, and my tires were worn anyway. Not very many places open on the weekends, and wanted to get the tires changed sooner than later (i have kids too). So i called them, they had the tires and could get them changed that day. So i went over and got new tires, was much easier to do it then, didnt have my kids with me. They were very courteous, and helpful. Their waiting area is very nice too, and it really didnt take that long. My vehicle rides a lot better now too, noticed it right away. So thank you to big O tires!

The guy who helped me was super sweet. Such a great guy. But, I was charged 100 dollars more than I was told I would be. Bummer.

I got a recall on my Cooper tires for my truck.Due to having to replace one tire year and half ago the recall only affected the one replacement tire.I advised Big O Tire I wasn’t comfortable just replacing the one tire and the other three tires being over two years old. Cooper customer service agreed and give me 50% pro rating on the remaining three tires.Chris at Big O Tires in Terre Haute did a great job handling this confusing issue. I will definitely go back to Big O Tire in the future.

Poor experience today after several previous good visits. Drove an hour to have a flat tire repaired as part of free lifetime rotation and flat repair from purchase of 4 new tires. It started with them struggling to find my appointment I booked online several days prior. After 2 hours, I was charged for an alignment and a flat tire repair when the tire with a nail was untouched in the trunk and the spare tire (different wheel and tire) had been rotated to the front and alignment performed.Was unable to get fixed due to my own schedule, but the manager was considerate and has offered to make it right including refunding the unnecessary charges. Will update and improve review if made right, but frustrating experience.

This place is consistently the best place to take my car in the area. They do great work in an amount of time thats reasonable for what needs done, and the staff is unmatched. Theyre incredibly helpful, very friendly, and they dont look at you like youre stupid when they have to explain what it is thats going on with your vehicle. I took my cars here in college and will continue to do so, as they do great work and take fantastic care of their customers!

We are from Colorado and went through on vacation. Stopped in due to a tire that kept losing air. We have two dogs and a rental suburban and the service we received was absolutely outstanding! Not only did they take the nail out of the tire and patch us up, but this was all done with phenomenal customer service and no charge! I would highly recommend this Big O tire shop! The waiting area is clean and there’s so many things to check out while you wait! And they certainly love dogs! From the Barkers.... Extremely satisfied customers!!

From the first time I went here several years ago, I have loved the work the guys do and the customer service. They truly do care about doing a good job and making sure the customer is well informed of everything going on. I continue to visit regularly not just for my tires, but other jobs my vehicle may need. They can do quite a lot. Nate and TJ at the front counter will make sure you get the best care and I’ve interacted with Dustin and Frankie in the service area and they are so knowledgeable and keep you informed. I trust them all with my vehicle. They offer a great waiting area with coffee, water and Netflix! Free WiFi and even an area for children! Highly recommend!

On June 4, 2021, I took my Jaguar here to have 4 tires balanced and they did a fine job. They also located a bad TPMS sensor that was glued together with silicone that had failed and was rolling in the tire. No problem, had it replaced. Fast forward to next week, I have a flat tire (different tire) and Big O Tires was closed so I took it to another local tire shop. They determined a TPMS sensor was leaking and failed so they replaced with a valve stem to keep me on the road.I go back to Big O Tire on June 8, 2021 to see if I can have another TPMS sensor put in but they must have the old one according to the front desk to be able to relearn the unique ID on the sensors. Annoying, but okay. Then, he proceeds to tell me that the other 3 of my TPMS sensor are also glued together and need replaced because he recalled from the last Friday. Why would you not tell me at the time and all of this nonsense could have been avoided? I would have replaced all 4 at once and without knowing even taken care of the leaky one? Instead, I find out when I happen to come back after another problem.I decide to leave since they told me that they couldnt program the sensors for my car. I buy my own sensors and another local shop puts them in fine without the old sensor that Big O Tire so desperately needed that was already thrown away. Weird how that works, the front desk bet me that it was unlikely this could be programmed and referred me to Jaguar 2 hours away. The work they did complete was fine, but not my cup of tea. I wasnt notified of known problems that would have generated more sales and why would you not stock the proper equipment to conveniently program most TPMS like both other shops?

Big O Tires did a fantastic job on my car. I came in with a lot of questions, and they answered every one of them with a positive attitude. I asked them to look over some things such as my brakes and shocks and they did without hesitation and at no cost. The total cost was exactly what they said it would be as well. I will definitely go back.

This place needs much attention. They cant seem to get my vehicle information correct here. It makes it very difficult and tiresome to have to explain it all every time I go there, which is twice. Not sure Ill go back. My wife caught the Covid virus last May there since that was the one day we had to come out of self-quarantine to go there. Tire Barn here I come.

Came in to get my Jeep looked at for an antifreeze leak and within an hour they had found the problem and told me what it would take to fix it. The repair was very fast and the staff was extremely friendly. I would suggest them for any vehicle needs you have.

Charged $40 for 4 valve stems. After reviewing my bill I noticed a “tpms” valve stem rebuild fee. My TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) is aftermarket, and screws onto the STOCK, run of the mill valve stem. I called and asked what the charge was for and apparently, I got a “rebuilt valve stem system”.... really? Added photos of my fancy new $10 valve stems, maybe I could resell them on eBay and get some of my money back? The best part is, I asked what the * FREE VALVE STEM was on my bill and was told that is for non tpms systems. I assure you, they are all the same. 🤦🏽

We got new tires from them in late February early March and the timing was amazing with how fast they got our vehicle done. Then recently we had to go get 2 repaired and they was so kind and fixed the tires in no time

Had a car that had been sitting for five years, took it to Big O was informed that I need all new tires and alignment. But they went above their duties and checked out the main safety issues and I was not charged for this. I’m stunned at the low price I paid on the repairs I had done, I also received a Military discount. I was contacted and asked was I satisfied with the service they performed:YESSIR. The personnel, service and price were unbelievable. They should change the name to Big O Yeah.

Called before I showed up to get an oil change done. They said yes we can get you right in. I show up and they get my info and say you will be in and out. They went out and got my truck and pulled it around. I was thinking great!!! This is going to be quick. I showed up at 10:20am and it’s now 12:25pm and the truck is still “almost done”. All I hear is they are almost done, they had to get a filter, we ran out of oil and we had to run down the street to buy 1qt. I called around to find a place to do a quick oil change. Why can’t places be honest and just say, it will be a couple hours. Don’t go here if your in a hurry.On the flip side the customer service was amazing. She was very nice and smiled a lot. Got everything typed up and ready in a hurry.

I have been with big o for years after losing a mechanic I trusted for many years before. I cant say enough how professional this business is. Even when unsure about what may be wrong and if it will be done correctly. These guys restore my faith in good mechanics. Highly recommended. My son had new running boards installed on his 2013 Chevy. The staff at the counter was very helpful with him, explaining the difference between stainless, and painted black, the prices was comparable to other shops, but they have better warranties with their prices.

I have previously purchased tires from my old car from big O and recently bought a new car so I have not had to purchase new tires yet (knock on wood) but I had a nail in one of my tires. They got me in that day patched it up and didn’t even charge me!! They know I will definitely be back for all my tires needs!

The folks at Big O are always helpful, friendly. Im not sure theyll beat every price on tires in town, but theyll be right there. And theyre reliable. Thats worth a lot!

What an embarrassing experience! Had a truck taken there to fix a leak in a tire. After two hours, was told that the leak couldnt be fixed due to a previous tire repair. A lot of time wasted since the vehicle was brought in by an active Army soldier who needed help in a crunch. But they would rather be salesmen than a good repair shop. After all the waiting, had to replace the punctured tire and asked the shop to move new tire to the front so it wouldnt damage the rear differential. The shop refused repair because it could cause damage to front end parts/alignment? Wow! Top notch people working here. Good thing we are from out of town because we wont be back. This shop should be Embarrassed.

This place always seem to help me out no matter what I got going on. Excellent service and quality. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They always seem to get me in and out. Broke down on the interstate and had my vehicle towed here. They went above and beyond to be helpful and considerate of my situation. They ended up spending considerable time troubleshooting my vehicle, but when the problem was bigger than could be remedied there, they even didn’t charge me the diagnosis charge they quoted me. Also appreciated the knowledge and experience demonstrated by the staff and the effort in finding me the most affordable option, even taking their own time to price shop local parts houses for me.

I will never be going back here again. I was very displeased with my customer service experience here. I ordered tires from Tire Rack and had them delivered here because they are a preferred installer. Well, I prefer to never go back. They werent even aware of the arrangement/contract that Tire Rack has with them, which requires them to stick to a certain price in order to be a certified installer. Not only that, but my valve stem covers were barely on, which was causing my tire pressure sensors to go crazy and needing to be reset/re-calibrated every mile or so. When checking my tire pressure after the install, every tire had different tire pressure readings. I feel a vibration in the right rear, Im guessing balanced incorrectly.That was not even the worst part for me. To me, the worst part is how the manager was treating the employees that worked in the back doing the installs. It was a Saturday, so not the normal manager. He would be all friendly up front but then go in the back, and you could hear him very clearly yelling explicitness and very demeaning remarks to the employees. He was yelling so hard that he came back in sweating on a chilly day. Then he had the audacity to tell everyone how hard it was to find good help and keep them. Well....no wonder they leave if they are treated like that. And no wonder my tire installation experience was so horrible.

I had my truck towed into Big O because it died on me on State Road 46 and so I needed to find out what the issue was. One of their mechanics called me the next morning and said it was locked up and he fixed that and that it was low on oil and he had filled it up and thought maybe he heard a tap in the engine but wasnt certain, because it was faint, if there at all. He asked me a million questions with the conversation being almost 30 minutes and although he was very nice, he sounded unprofessional, confused, and like he didnt know what to do. He ended up saying that he hadnt looked at it much, only a couple of minutes and if they did anything more it would cost a lot of money and I told him I didnt have much to spend at that time for the truck. He said they would wave $70 assessment fee because he had only spent a couple of minutes on the truck and the oil he put in didnt cost much at all. When I went in to pick up my truck the manager said the engine was blown and that my truck was dangerous to drive. I explained the mechanic said nothing like that and that I had just put a new transmission in and he could see it had 4 brand new tires. He was rude and went on and on about how dangerous it was to drive because IF and when the engine blew it would flip the truck on me if I was driving at a fast enough speed. He said that I should sell it to them and he would take the cost of the tow and their assessment fee out and give me the remainder. I explained that there should only be the tow fee because the mechanic said he didnt really investigate the issue, and only spent a couple of minutes with my truck and it would be waved and that I wasnt interested in selling it at all. The manager was rude and said it would not be waived and when I asked who the mechanic was that called he wouldnt say. I explained he needed to tell the mechanic not to tell customers he was waving the fee if that wasnt the case and that he needed to get with the mechanic to see why they had such differing opinions on my truck. The manager wouldnt even agree to speak with the mechanic and again was extremely rude to me in front of my children. Since then I took it to my regular mechanic and found out the problem was a loose starter wire. My engine IS NOT tapping or about to blow up on me like the manager said. If Big O would have taken the time to put it on a lift and actually investigate the problem, which they should have done since they did end up charging me the $70 fee to investigate, they would have easily been able to figure out why my truck died on me. Simple fix. I should not have been charged when I was told I wouldnt be and since they did charge they should have at least looked for the issue! Thank god I didnt sell them my truck like the rude pushy manager wanted!!!

This is by far the best place I have ever encountered with their customer service. They really care about their customers and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with their work! I will be going there for all my needs moving forward!

The financial timing for us was truly unfortunate as we had a loss of income and had to lose $500 and at Christmas, but we were able to get right in for a new set of tires. The waiting area is clean and nicely designed and we have the confidence of dealing with a national company if we ever have an issue while traveling.

This is where I come to when Im visiting family in Indiana. I have always had a great experience, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are individually owned and dont try to sell you extra things that you dont need!

Our granddaughter is at ISU. We have used your store a number of times. We have always been so pleased with the service and kindness. Always had quality work and felt we were treated honestly and fairly. We are two hours away so it is comforting to know that!

First time I had 2 tires installed back in April they provided excellent service. This time in December the service was poor. 3 times I had to request a front end alignment once the new tires were installed.The first time they forgot to, the second time they just did an inspection, finally the third try they did the alignment. Cost us a lot wait time because they couldnt follow simple instructions. Good Luck 🙁

I was in a pinch between jobs and these folks really helped me out. I blew out a tire and didnt have the extra money to pay for new tires but Big O helped me out with their credit card and I was able to start my new job with new tires!

Replaced all 4 tires with no appointment and did an oil change. Went back two weeks later for an adjustment on air valve...no appointment again and fix on the spot ...no charge! Very pleased. Bought 4 tires for the price of 3.

Excellent service. I was traveling through on I70 when my alternator went out. AAA towing recommended Big O. Their staff was very friendly and got me back on the road quickly and for a reasonable price. Many automotive shops would take advantage of the situation but they did not. Highly recommend to any in or traveling through the Terre Haute area.

I went to big o tires in Whitestown to get an oil change and I was turned away because they had 3 jobs in the shop. They said to come back in 2.5 hours to see if we could get it done or not. I guess with that being said. Business is being turned away by management and you would think that they would not want customers to go somewhere else to get an oil change. Management should really take a look at some of these reviews because once the tire store on the other side of taco Bell opens. Big o is going to lose lots of business solely because of the managers and the decisions they make.

The boss was very very friendly and helpful. And seemed to be a great representative of the company. But the one thing that sucked was I could not get logged into the wifi and there are free WiFi signs posted all over the store.Also the vending machines work, the drink vending is cash/card acceptable.The snack machine however, is change only.
