Always interesting coming to a Walmart. Wasnt too crowded so was able to get in and get what I needed. However, I wasnt aware that they now close at 11:00pm for cleaning and stocking.....Still not a fan of self checkout, it was the only available option.

Went to the vision center for eye exam and to order contacts and glasses. Friendly doctor and staff. Got an appointment for later the same day which was nice. Had no insurance, and the cost was still very reasonable.

Love this time of year...all registers are open. Update 5-27-2020 they had face mask and hand sanitizer. Dont know how long it will last. Lines were fast today

You get to rub elbows with some of the most unique, pajama clad, multicolored haired, & crass individuals Terre Haute has to offer. Basically, it is your typical Walmart experience.

Its a Walmart Its not too trashy or too fancy if its right in, there are definitely better options out there but if you need something simple or you need to have a quick pick up order this is the place to go. They could really expand on their more niche things that I can find other Walmarts if thats okay You just need to tend to your customer base and if thats not purchased its not purchased. Anywho its a Walmart.

I just dont care for a Walmart that is so big you cant find anything. I prefer a smaller one like Paris Illinois except they have eliminated most of their cashiers. I dont go there at all anymore.

They keep rearranging everything.. a 20min. Trip took an hour just to find stuff I wanted... that was with asking associates and given the wrong location at first. The 2nd associate helped take me right too it and explained the recent relocation of the item I was looking for...she was most helpful.

Some creepy guy was following a shopper around. Standing at the end of an isle talking on the phone about what a fellow shopper was doing. I proceeded to inform the shopper she was being followed. He then came up to me all upset asking me to leave. Because he was supposedly a secret shopper. And had been watching said person for three hours. Which was hard to believe because there was zero indication he was shopping at all. And told me she was a crackhead bro. Which seemed extremely unprofessional.

Great customer service. Employees were exceptionally courteous in helping me find what I was looking for. Thumbs up to our local Walmart employees.

I was pleased with Walmart until I was ready to check out. I do not do my own check out. Customers lined up to be checked out. Walmart did not open up any more registers ¹+a a ¹

The experience was TERRIBLE! I will no longer shop Walmart South or East. 4 cashiers, each line completely in to the main floor by Womens clothing!! The self-scan associates acted like they they didnt want to be there and were RUDE!! This not only goes for me, but, my Mother as well....we will NO LONGER SHOP WALMART!!!

This has happened a couple times, Was there last night, and a client of mine doesnt really have a lot of money, so when he sees something he wants in a certain price range, he wants that item. Last night they had a wireless headset for $44.88 behind a glass case, and we asked the man to get it for us, and it rang up as $79, we called a manager and waited a good 10 minutes, finally the guy said lets go up front, so we get up from and the guy tells her to sell it to us for $60 (not sure where the $60 came from) and she said they were understaffed and it had to of been misplaced. A staff member has to open the case to put it up, so it wasnt just placed there by a customer. The same thing happened awhile back with a surround sound speaker. This place, and its employees are a joke. Minimum skills deserve minimum wage.

I was trying to buy a hunting license and the people I would find and ask wasnt helpful at all. I called the store and there was only two options. One for the vaccine and the other would hang up when you tried to opt for it. Its just a sad place when you have to click on the vax line to get someone to help.

It wasnt crowded, no lines to get in the building. I used self checkout as I only had 2 items and was able to get right onto one as soon as I approached the area.

This particular location isnt too bad compared to others closer to larger cities. Though the companys main focus of making money at the expense of the customers is still quite evident.

Went through the checkout and when I was finished, I didn’t think I had all my bags. I asked the woman, and she said I did so I went ahead and left. The next day while I was at work, I went to get my purchases out of the car and sure enough, I didn’t get all my stuff when I left. I called and inquired listing the items for them that I didn’t have. They had it, but even though I could tell them what was in it, they didn’t want to give me my purchases without my receipt—because just anyone would know there were 2 pairs of striped socks, 2 travel size Lysol, 2 packs of hair tires, etc. To make a long story short, after quite a bit of time and a lot of hassle, I got the rest of the items I purchased, but it sure was a HUGE pain to get things that were paid for by me previously when I could name the items in the bag—-and WAY TOO MUCH TROUBLE to get things that wouldn’t have been left in the first place if the checker had just taken 2 seconds to make sure I had them all when I told her I didn’t think I did. This is why I usually shop online from Amazon, and my main lady hates me for having multiple packages to be divorced 3 or 4 times a week.

I love food and fell that Walmart has all the food!😁😁😋😋😋 And great for shopping for groceries 👜👜

Every time you ask me if you can see my receipt I’m going to tell you no. All this does is make people not want to shop at your store. Loss prevention should not be on the customer to enforce. You guys are the largest employer in the US. I’ve never been asked for my receipt at the location on Highway 46, just for the record.

I dont mind shopping there but the bathrooms are always disgusting and the workers could use an attitude adjustment and some more training on how to treat their customers.

The Walmart on U S 41 South in Terre Haute Indiana acts as if every customer who walks in the door is a their.Dont DARE try to open a package to confirm if the product will fit what you are needing it for even though the package ISNT sealed. They will be down your throat, ready to take you out in cuffs, have you booked, mugshot, and processed in no time flat. Had this experience yesterday 6/07/21. I am a former law enforcement officer myself. It was disgraceful.

I generally do not shop here but did today. I found everything quickly. The store well organized and things are cross stocked so if you ask for an item they can tell you every place it is located at. Not crazy about the self check out set up but its not a deal breaker. The parking lot was very clean and most cars rounded up and not a nuisance.

Long line & wait time. Of the 30 some registers only had 4 regular lanes open & were 6 deep in each, ug.

Terre Haute south Walmart is good, clean, nicely laid out, and dependable for the quality and prices youd expect. Its a weekly visit for me.

I was recently in Charleston, Ill. It is nice at the Wal-Mart there due to the lack of humongous crowds which, i cant stand. This W.M. was also very clean. Those are big pluses for me but not only that, customer service ranks #1 in any establishment I visit. The ppl are polite!!! I was greeted and spoken to. Imagine that!!! Arent ppl supposed to treat and be treated as such? It is a wonderful goal to have but in reality, hard to achieve. I got what I needed and had a pleasant experience.

WalMart is a good store they just have a habit of carrying something I really like and then they quit. They use to carry my favorite pickles which are Vlassic original dill wholes and then they just quit all they carry are kosher dills which I do not care for. Its a annoying as heck.

The self scan lines are for cards only so it means you have to stand in a 10 miles line because the cheap basterds will only keep enuff people on staff at all times to two lanes complete disregard for your time or your convenience

I grew up on the South end of town, so I have always gone to this Walmart. Honestly, the store itself is actually pretty good. MOST of the employees are nice and helpful. However, there is one employee who is horrible to everyone. Her name is Gayla. There have been countless times that I have been trying to speak to an employee and she was yelling at the employee about something so I was unable to get my answer without waiting around for her to stop acting that way and move on. Another employee gave me her name after I asked for it and I found out she is actually a manager. I was baffled to find this out considering I could never imagine any manager from a store acting the way she does in front of customers and treating employees as terribly as she does.

This walmart is a bit better than the other walmart in terre haute. It is a bit cleaner and more updated. The layout is wonky but there is nothing they can really do about that. Staff was also friendly.
