Kind and friendly over the phone, helpful.Sadly, when I ordered, they shipped me the wrong item. They acknowledged the mistake and then I asked them to send the correct item.It devolved from there when I was told, I would go into your local Kay and see what they can do. ... I apologize for any confusion and inconvenience.Then the solution, The item can be returned at your local Kay Jewelers with the sales slip information attached in this email.This is not why anyone orders online. If Kay Jewelers was close to me, I would have gone in to one locally.I still want the ring I ordered, or a refund. Simple enough?
Husband purchased a ring for me, we sent it off to get resized 2 days later as we were told by 2 different employees it would be no problem at all. Waited a month to pick it up, and instead get a call saying it couldnt be resized up more than 1 size, a day after the pick up date, because it was Le Vian collection. Spoke with the assistant manager and she said no one knew it couldnt be resized until they got it back, find that odd because I doubt this was their first piece from that collection to get resized. She then told me they just so happened to have had a customer custom order the same ring in the store that could be resized up 1 size to fit me that was never picked up that I could wait another 4 weeks for or wait 8 more weeks to get my own custom ring. Horrible customer service and all employees lack knowledge on what they sell. She also mentioned, they JUST sell the rings, nothing else.
I will not be back!! My family and I walked in to buy my husband a replacement wedding band. We waited. Not one worker even acknowledged us, even a hello would have been great. We did not even get that! and at the time there was only 2 other customers in the store. I have never left a store feeling the way I did today. We left and went to Zales where not only were we greated the second we walked in. But the professionalism that the Zales staff member had was amazing and she got our buisness. Thank goodness for Zales so we could purchase him a new wedding band.

Very very over priced. Tried to charge me 225 for a ring resizing. Walked two mins down the aisle to another jewelers and the price was 130 so I left and the third time was the charm zales had chrged79 the for the same job

I was at the Kays Jewelers in Terre Haute, Indiana, I stood there for 10 to 15 minutes waiting on an associate to be open to wait on me, a couple walked in behind me and they waited on them first! To say the least Im very upset with that store!
I bought my wedding set from Osterman, and when they went out of business Kays contacted me to let me know that they would take over the warranty. It was fine the first few times I had my jewelry checked, but I have been in there four times in the last month to have it checked and they are busy and no one is available to help. They usually have more than one person helping a guest or have people doing things other than providing customer service. One day they were having a bridal event and after the person asked if I was there for the event and I said no, she said she couldnt help me. Today I was told I picked a busy day to come in--there were four employees and two customers other than me and I waited 20 minutes before asking if I could schedule an appointment for a less busy time and was told that they dont know. If they had been bust any of the times I have been in there (other than the bridal event when they WERE busy), I would understand. It seems like they do not care if you arent in there to spend more money.I will not buy from them or any of their affiliate stores again.

I have never had such great customer service! They are helpful, and when my order was messed up, they took care of me and fixed it no charge! Pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable they are and how caring they are about what the sell. I recommend them to friends and family.
We were very pleased with our service today at Kays Jewelers. We were not rushed or pressured to buy and Carol and Andy gave us many options and choices to choose from.
Me and my husband came in to pick up my necklace yesterday and we could not believe how we were treated. After being ignored for approximately 5 minutes we were finally helped and she was not very nice! Wanted my Id, In which Ive never had to do. (and Ive brought this necklace in 6 times to be repaired and picked it up and have never showed Id or a claim ticket) We have a lifetime warranty with this necklace but I will not be back. If it breaks again and Im sure it will I will just replace it myself rather than go through those rude sales people again.Very very disappointed!
