I really enjoyed myself at this diner. It was quiet and a little slow at the time, which is ideal in my opinion. We were seated and served by Ramir (I pray i got your name right) who was charismatic and welcoming to our group the entire night. I managed to snap a photo of the food, I ordered a steak for myself and some chicken tenders for the table. The steak was great, a little rarer than I expected but nothing to complain about. I will say I wasnt a fan of the tenders, however. Other than that, Im definitely going back to try some other dishes, and would invite others to do the same. Price wise, Id say bring a 20 for a fulfilling meal and youll be more than happy, cheaper options exist but the dinners are worth the price as per experience.
First time here since renovation. I was a bit disappointed. Service was not great, waiting on drink refills, not checking on how the food came out, etc. The food quality has definitely degraded since the renovation. Im not sure if there is new management.Counter seating available, as well as booths and tables. Liquor is served here, full bar.Happy to see more healthy options on the menu. We were disappointed with the chicken salad.Bathroom did not offer any hands free towels, flush, faucets, soap, etc. Seemed odd for a newly built bathroom.Outdoor seating looked pretty dismal. Tent with little privacy and no landscaping. Very basic with picnic tables and folding chairs. Everything outside was pretty dirty, but was not in use.Ok burgers and breakfast, but generally underwhelming. With so many options in the area, we wont be back anytime soon.
Omelettes are good here as well as the breakfast sausage. Home fries leave alot to be desired unfortunately and sometimes the toast comes out burnt. Customer service is usually good. Lunch is the better choice here, its definitely more consistent as far as food quality being very good 99% of the time.
The establishment is nice and the pancakes are good. However, not much else can be said about the food and the staff. The chicken burger was a frozen chicken patty and the calamari tasted like cardboard and the fries were soggy. Pancakes were good though.
Went here with my roommate around midnight. Very cute and clean place, and the food was really good, especially considering the price!! Our hostess/waitress was really sweet as well. Ill definitely be back here at some point :)
Horrible food! We had a great server but our food was horrible! It came out half frozen 3 times. They still decided to charge us even though everyone legit touched the inside of our food and it was still frozen. On top of that the French onion soup tasted like it had a full bottle of salt in it! I almost puked from the amount of salt in the soup! We went there because it was recommended by a friend who is a regular. Even their food came out horrible and had to be sent back to the kitchen more than twice. I will not be visiting again!

Very, very disappointed. We have been going to the Park Avenue Diner for years. Decided to do take out for dinner tonight and ordered a turkey club. Got it home to find that it was stacked with very slimy, processed like meat product. When we called they said, we normally make it with roast turkey...not sure what happened.
This Diner was terrible. They were short staffed, and the food was terrible. The loaded mac and cheese was basically krafts mac and cheese with big slices of tomatoes. Their avocado ranch BURGER! Was actually a chicken patty with melted Kraft cheese. I don’t know how they got 4.1 stars out of 5 with 700+ reviews but its definitely a 1 star diner. But the pancakes were good. But again…. 1 star.
Great food and great atmosphere! Everything looked beautiful. The service was extremely slow but if you can hold out the rest seems worth it.
Awesome. I got the chicken vinatellio or something like that. It was amazing. 2 huge delicious breast which, I usually only get one at Italian places. I had it with pasta in garlic and oil. My daughter got the French toast with fruit and it was great. Really good place and so glad I live so close to it.
Front desk is very rude. Just wanted to order something simple a burger and app for my mother and it was a nightmare. After today being a loyal customer I will never order again.
I dont typically provide reviews, good or bad but I think this time, I have to say something about this experience.My son and a friend, (teenagers) decided to grab a midnight snack & ended up here. My son ordered an $18 steak, his favorite. After a long wait, they finally got their food - much to his disappointment, what he got was a hard, overcooked, unseasoned steak with soggy, greasy fries. The next morning, my son tried seasoning it and warming it up for brunch - he couldnt get past the tough texture and taste; thinking he was over reacting, I tried it. It tasted like an old burnt hamburger with zero flavor and too greasy to consume. The steak ended up in the dog bowl. He was grateful for the table scraps.I fully understand the restaurant business has been severely impacted by the pandemic but not providing edible/semi decent diner food is not exactly the way to win back customers or gain new ones.
First time back since the start of the pandemic and happy to see how clean & well run the diner is. Amine was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we sat down, his energy and service was outstanding! We will definitely be back!
The new look after their renovation is pleasant. The staff are attentive and courteous towards their customers. The selection of items were plentiful & their prices are better than expected. The food was good.For the most part this diner is the best in the immediate area.Tonight was the first time I visited in more than 2 years and I will definitely be a return customer going forward.
The service was better than there Food . I will give it another try and this time order lunch Food and hopefully it will be better than the breakfast 😀
We live in the area and have given this place many opportunities. Every single time we have ordered there has been an issue. After a looong evening of cleaning out our flooded basement from the storm, we ordered a very late dinner at 11:15pm. We waited for the food from Uber Eats and at 12:50am our Uber driver called us to say the diner still hadn’t made it yet because they received two big tables and had to handle them first. What?! We ordered almost 2 hrs ago and you can’t handle one egg salad sandwich and a burger?! They have an excuse every time. Officially done. Beyond poor management.

Completely unprofessional. Horrible and rude staff. Would not waste my time here. Spend your money somewhere where they treat you with more respect. Had an order worth $33 dollars and I did not receive my food. In fact they refused to make it. And they took my money. Complete scam and the dude said I had to wait until the next shift to receive my food. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

Menu does not corectly detail what you get on the dinner specials. Menu states soup, salad or fruit salad, and choice of deserts. You do NOT get soup and salad. Mashed potatoes cold when brought to the table. Vegetables cold also. Over all food so so. Have had better at other local diners with soup, salad, and a drink included in the price. Wont be back here anytime soon.

After COVID I was worried about eating out but they handled it well. Have been to diner before but the food is different not like it used to be. Food is good but not sure what has changed.

The service was slow. The waitress didnt know the menu. I ordered a California burger that came without mayo. I never got the pickle or coleslaw. My wife ordered French dip sandwich which came without dipping sauce.The waitress was sitting with your boyfriend .I will not be back.

Prior to the kitchen fire around Christmas of 2018, I would have breakfast at the diner two or three times a week. Good food, good people, I loved it. When it opened a year and a half later, in August of this year, I was delighted. The outside tent setup they have is really comfortable and calm. It’s good to see some of my old friends back working at the diner. And the food…last night I had a salmon dinner that rivals some of the best restaurants I’ve been to. The Park Avenue Diner, if you use to come, come back. If you have never been, treat yourself to a great experience, in a wonderful atmosphere with great food.

The business phone doesn’t work to place a order over the phone. I decided to drive there only to be greeted by the gentleman working behind the counter that was very rude. The customer service is lousy. The waiters were just standing around while I was at the counter trying to order, so I just walk out. This place should get a half a star on Mother’s Day! Very upset

Since the renovation service has changed . I was just there and this is what happened in order ..i asked for a high chair for my baby . And the chair was very unstable and the screws were loose.Then i Had to ask for my drink since he didnt bring it, and when i got it, there was lipstick lips on the rim of my cup which i had to clean up. I also didn’t receive my fruit cup i asked for which i didnt mind because i was starting to get full so i didnt remind the server, however I could’ve taken it to go . Lastly there was a hair in the little butter container that they bring out with the pancakes. I was disgusted that i did not finish the pancakes. There was a camera facing my table so i swear i am not lying . And also the food has changed and its not the same flavor and portions are Way smaller . I am not coming here again .

If I could give this place a 0 I would went and put in 2 orders BLT and Burger/ with fries waited an hour then when they finally brought my food out the fries were burnt and Cold then the Old Greek man or whatever nationality they are starting arguing with me and yelling I only make 10 dollars an hour and acted like he wanted to hurt me!!! 👎👎👎👎👎👎
Came here my first time for a DoorDash run and seen their dessert selection. So I came back a few weeks later and got myself a slice of their cherry cheesecake and pound cake! Omgness!!! I can’t wait to come back again! I haven’t sat down to try their food but I’m sure it’s really good!

Great. We had a large party with no call ahead, but they accommodated us quickly with no irritation. Our orders were taken without frustration from a young waitress, even with the confusion of 5 young children and 3 seniors. The food came out soon after it was ordered, and my order was delicious. Would recommend

The food was good. However, the waitstaff was very rude and unprofessional. My friend and I felt very judged by the comments he/she was making toward us regarding how much food we ordered!
Its understandable that there are longer wait times but for pick ups, stop saying 25 minutes over the phone when its always 45 to an hour.

Havent been in since before they remodeled. The place looks amazing and the food was delicious as always! Our server Jessica was very attentive and it was also great running into my old colleague Doug, who happens to be a manager there.
Order 2 Eggs your Way with a side of toast waited almost 40 minutes for my order only to have the eggs served dry, bland, overcooked, (check the bottom) parts stone cold I don’t know what’s happened to Park Avenue these days

The waiter was an older white lady. I felt rushed while we all ordered, when i requested my bacon to be extra crispy it was not crispy yet it looked almost raw, and when i only wanted just bacon vs all other meats that was on the special menu, the waiter did not listen yet gave me all of the other meats. Why trash un-eaten food knowing i requested bacon only?!? Stupid! Lastly, the wooden chairs were so loose, we felt we were all about to fall flat on the floor. Its best you tighten the screws in each chair before a customer hurt themselves and sue.

I saw her behind the counter blowing her nose into a tissue paper and proceeded to grab the coffee mug plates and other things without washing hands. I had to cancel my order then and there. Didnt order food but went as a food delivery person. I can say I will NOT go here as a customer. Not one person acknowledged me for at least 3 minutes. The GM or owner or whoever he was, mr pretty boy and the counter dress shirt unbuttoned three buttons stood at the counter looking at receipts and not once addressed me. He walked away into the kitchen spoke with a guy who then came out from the kitchen with three bags of food in his hands while pretty boy carried nothing was given directions by pretty boy as to who gets what bags and this one is his pointing at me. The only way he knew that was from my bag. I was gonna make a purchase once my delivery was done. Not now, ill go elsewhere.
