My first experience inside of Scheels earlier this year in April. My experience at that point was pretty good because they had ammo and others did not. The store is amazingly big with so many options. Prices are basically somewhere between Cabelas and Bass Pro shop. Now for the size of the store and the location its expected. A lot of my friends checked it out after I advise them they had ammo, when others did not and it was not a price gouging price so this got you five stars at that time.Update 10/20/2021Had a bad experience there today hence note below: I came in today to buy a firearm. I dont feel like the employees which there were so many there but I only dealt with two, took me serious. That I really wanted to spend money but looking at some of the other firearms I think if I wasnt spending over $500💰. They werent going to take me seriously. This made me feel like I should take my business back to Academy Sports and stick in my own League 😔.Updated 11/01/2021Owner of a business taking time to respond to a customers needs and willing to help them have a better experience. This place was just WOW ! I don’t know why it took us so long to check it out. We finally went after it getting so much hype. It definitely did not disappoint. We took our 2 year old son, 9 year old niece, and 12 year old nephew and they literally all had a blast. The store was so clean and organized. So many fun things for the kids to do as well. The ride and bowling was so cheap too. Literally $1.00 for the ride and $2.00 for bowling just make sure you take cash. We love fun family places like this and will definitely be back.

This place is awesome. Nice big store with lots of things to see and do. Store is very well organized and clean. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Sporting Goods is just part of it, it’s also a candy store, museum, arcade, and amusement park all in one. A must visit place!

Every employee was spectacular and there were plenty around From J at the coffee bar to Ashley in womens shoes. The variety cant be beat, fishing, camping, guns, candy, home decor and clothing for everyone. I cant believe I had not heard of this store. I didnt get to explore everything because I simply got tired. Lots of clothing for men and women. All the running shoes you can imagine. The restaurant had more than just snacks and coffee. They actually were offering enchiladas the day I shopped. I will be back and will be recommending this store to friends.

A great environment for any sport enthusiast. The fish tank was a very warm welcoming experience. They also have a giant Ferris wheel in the middle of the store! 🎡 A big place to shop at enjoyed shopping here. Staff was very attentive and helpful!

I was forced to go here by my husband. I was not excited. Though once I walked through the door, I enjoyed the marvel of this sporting goods store. It is crazy huge. It even has a ferris wheel inside the store. I really enjoyed seeing each department. We all had a good time exploring this place. I think they have every possible thing you could want that is related to sports, fishing, or hunting. This is a must see!

I love this place all Ammo you need they even had 6 shot 12 gauge I ordered hard to find lures got within the week plan on spending whole day 340 thousand sq ft family own drove 7 hrs can’t wait to get back

This is an amazing store with just about anything youd need for sports and outdoor activities. I figure if they dont have it, you dont need it. The hunting section puts Bass Pro and Cabelas to shame. This is my new favorite store.

Such an incredible store that has literally something for everyone when it comes to exercising and doing outdoorsy things. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable in all departments. Amazing selection of shoes, firearms, hunting and athletic equipment... arcade games throughout! They even have a ferris wheel in the middle of the store! Oh and the fish tanks were a huge hit! The manager rushed to grab Willow a Scheels bandana! So sweet. Their dedication to supporting our troops and patriotism is everywhere throughout the store and is to be commended!! A Texas gem! ❤

JUST LIKE A KID!!I walked into this place and my jaw dropped. I remember the pep talks my mom gave us as a kid before we went into a store or friends houses. Now dont go in here and start touching everything!Theres no way you can do that here. I couldnt keep my hands to myself. So much to choose from. Theres a sweet shop with sandwiches, bowling, huge fish tank and a ferris wheel. What a cool store.

First time at Scheels! Wow! What a place! They have everything. We rode the ferris wheel. It is $1.00. You need a wooden token though which you can get from a cashier before you get in line. Lots of fun! There is a candy shop, a cafe, pinball and some other games. Toy department of too.

No lie this is a beautiful store. The attention to detail is great. But what got me was the restroom had steps for kids to wash their hands. That takes thought and I’m sure fathers appreciate it.

Spectacular store. Earth Angels Kelsey, Kaitlin, and Kyle are amazing hosts. Yes, there are lots of folks to help, but their focus is letting you try out products because the more you try, the more likely you are to discover what is best for you. Amazing inventory in every department. This was my first visit. Though it was a trek to get here, I will definitely go back.

If you are unfamiliar with Scheels, as so many are, it’s basically a way superior version of Dick’s sporting goods. It’s purely a fantastic store. Though more are beginning to pop up, Scheels is still certainly an endangered breed (not of becoming extinct but just that they are more rare and harder to find than other stores haha) and they are primarily found in areas of ND, SD, MN, Iowa and Nebraska.Scheels is the best kept secret of the northern Midwest.. well, at least it was, though it’s awesomeness is sadly beginning to be leaked, as there is now this Frisco location. And, as the saying goes with Texas, they made the largest and craziest Scheels yet, because Texas always does it bigger and better.It really is a treat to walk through this location. From the giant fish tank at the beginning, to taking a ride on the ferris wheel (that’s inside the store, yep), to going all around to the various clothing, sports equipment, shoes, home deco sections and more. You could spend hours in here.Scheels is just the best. That’s it. If you don’t agree then most likely you haven’t been. They do sporting goods/ clothing store the elite way. So help us keep them (kind of) still the greatest secret!!

Very large sports store with gear, gadgets, guns, equipment, clothes, and anything else you can think of. The staff here is very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back to see the other half of the store.

As many other people said it’s a great place! I’m not going to repeat others it’s all here and it’s a great place to be like they say 😁. What my family is most excited about to come here for ( we drive 25 min specifically just for that) is Gina’s Cafe! They have the most delicious coffee ☕️ ( in my opinion anyway) kids LOVE their food and so do we! Kid’s meals are great value and quality for the money spent. I haven’t tried a single thing and said - “nah I won’t have it again” and if you are here try their fudge! Mmmm delicious! We don’t eat it on every visit though. Gina’s Cafe is a must try!

Good sports stuff store, but with a lot of variety. Theres a candy shop, a ferris wheel, a fish tank you can walk under and around and just generally a lot of interesting things to do/see. Legos, yoga, clothes, tons of stuff.They have a demo area for: bowling, putting, ping pong, batting cage, and probably more.Also, be aware theres an uncanny valley, motion activated Emmit Smith on the second floor.

This is a huge sporting goods store that sells everything!! It has two levels, games, food, and even a huge indoor ferris wheel! They also sell some of the best fudge Ive ever had! They have a giant aquarium filled with tons of colorful fish! This is a great place to take the kids because theres a lot of stuff to do around there for families! Even if youre not shopping for sporting goods, this is a super fun place to go! We will definitely be going back!

First time going here a couple of days ago, and I was kind of impressed. Their selection of items you can purchase is super cool and definitely more than enough! The fish and Ferris wheel was crazy, and their service is impeccable! I think by the end of my visit there, I got asked if I was ok/needed help 40 times!Definitely will return due to these things! Hopefully it stays that way!

After swiping tik tok I saw a video about this amazing store. That was on Tues. Friday my family and I left big spring Texas and made the drive.Very impressive store. A little something for everyone. My wife and daughter enjoyed the ferris wheel. Whilst I was able to shop in peace.Everyone seemed joyful and eager to help customers. Which is rare nowadays. Had great interactions with several employees. Keep up the good work. And we will be back soon.

It’s a really nice store. But its more for people who exercise outdoors. Not really for customers who fish or hunt. I went to buy fishing tackle and the shelves are so close together. The lighting up there is terrible. No organization based on tackle. 1st level gets all the attention including from the staff.

The lady with the red hair in home decor was very helpful! She helped me find everything I needed and answered a lot of questions, Jaden I believe her name was me and the wife loved her!

This is a great place. This is not one of those woke anti-American or anti-second amendment companies. Before you even get inside, there are life size bronze statues of George Washington holding a copy of the Declaration of Independence and a statue of Abraham Lincoln and another of a soldier kneeling and honoring the memory of his fallen brothers and sisters. Then, the inside of the store is awesome. They have everything people interested in sports and outdoors could ever want. They also have a real ferris wheel inside the store. The sales people were really friendly and helpful. It was refreshing to go to a store like this and not have to deal with any attitudinal workers or any BS woke policies. I cant wait to go back.

The store is wonderful. I bought a couple of items. A Sig Sauer pellet pistol and a Sig Sauer air rifle. The clerk told me they were super accurate and effective. The pistol was a total disappointment. I used a couple of flat peices of card board to shoot in a field. It only penetrated one price of cardboard and only fired 16 times before it needed a new CO2 cartridge. The rifle requires a special order CO2 cartridge and the clerk told it was full auto. It is not. Im returning both. Extremely dissatisfied. Everything else is fine. Shoes, sandals, clothes jewelry my girls love.

Excellent facility for all your sporting good needs. But it is much more than that. The people who work here know there stuff. I found that there was always someone in every section willing to assist.Ammo… they have plenty!But here is where they have a real hidden gem…The gun smiths. The people who work at the counter definitely love their jobs, because they are some of the most knowledgeable and friendliest people working here. there is non of that intimidation tactics ;that has sent me out of gun stores before. I have to give a shout out to Tim who does detailing at this location. He helped talk me through the color I wanted for my Slide. He was honest and patient with me, he helped me make the best decision for the color. The prices are so fair it was shocking. The selection in the hunting/sporting section alone is worth the trip. It is quite literally a sporting goods mall. And they do it right. I’ll be back👍🏻

Hate buying from Academy so I came here. Wont be back though. Cant abandon customers in an already broken process and expect good things. Brought it to two managers attention and I got Im sorry about that. Dont be sorry... Be better. Its not a lofty goal.... You just have to be better than Academy.

A go to place for sporting goods especially for the ladies. Guys too, though a little light on the camp equipment. The Grandscape mall area outside is a wonder for family, walks and a quick meal. Parking, excellent. After a visit, you will want a return trip. A nice welcoming venue though construction makes it a work in progress.

One major thing that generally sets Scheels apart from others is the fact that each department has knowledgeable staff specific to what that department specializes in. So refreshing to have answers to questions and helpful suggestions.

Great survival and outdoor selection. I got a really nice Smith and Wesson knife for $20 here, and I took a photo with a stuffed bear.

This place is unreal. Everything you can think of that’s sports/outdoor related. Numerous in store attractions include Ferris wheel, aquarium, and a wildlife display made with taxidermy animals.

Chris in the archery department is a true professional. He took his time to outfit me with my first compound bow. All while doing his best to make sure other costumers had the help they needed. He made multiple trips to the shop table to make sure I was properly fitted. He was very knowledgeable and will be the only person I see from here on out for all my archery needs.

I have visited this Scheels Location in Dallas Colony Texas for the very first time. All Staff are nicely professionally, and how clean the store is. Splendid! Looks like I’ll come back and visit sometimes.

This store is huge. Great sporting goods store with large selection of name brands. While other people shopped enjoyed a coffee drink in the cafe. Had fun counting how many people had dogs with them. If you are wondering-7.

Shorter line, great ticket price - $1 dollar, fun for all ages. Loved the open Ferris wheel which gives you some butterflies. Did the big Ferris wheel at Grandscape for $16 dollars which was good. But had more fun for the money particularly on the one at Scheels. Customer service was good as well.

Earl of the Hunting/Guns department was extremely professional and he made my purchasing experience comfortable! He has that old school vibe in this new era. I truly appreciated his assistance. Overall, it was a very positive experience!I like the hat, however, my better half stated I should have asked for the shirt?!?!

This was my first time in the store and I was impressed. The store is clean and well kept with their merchandise neatly displayed. Although Scheels has a large selection of sporting goods and licensed apparel, they also have a good selection of Springbok puzzles and toys.

This place was so cool that my uncle had to point out two things at once.

Received a catalog in the mail and while most if not all end up being thrown away I perused through and saw some interesting things but the one thing which caught my eye was the Employee Owned. In it I saw some interesting Nike Shoes which I havent seen elsewhere and yesterday bought a pair for my soon to start high schooler daughter and they also delivered it in one day. She loves the shoes and when I googled the store I was amazed to see the photos. WOW - Ill be visiting this weekend. Id love for a company with these American Roots to be a competitor to Amazon and give them a run for their money.

Two words can sum up my experience at Scholls. Those two words would be out of this world:) I guess thats actually four words. Scheels is pretty freaking cool. Its like an sporting goods store on Steroids. You need it, they have it. From golf, hunting, to yoga. They have it all:) They even have a Home Decor Section:)

Its one of a kind store with amazing variety and choice of products. There is only one comment that there arent enough cart return bays in the parking lot. In the row that we had parked there wasnt even one bay and had to walk around the whole row to the opposite side to return the cart.

Fishing department is epic. Some items are a bit pricey but on par with basspro. Selection is awesome. I bought a Scheels brand rod and it was a great buy and very good quality.

I took my family today and we had a great time. Lots of stuff to see and experience. A lot of the attractions were closed due to COVID but we were able to scope out what wed like to do next time once the restrictions are lifted. It was very clean, well staffed, and the employees we encountered were friendly. You can have a good time there without spending money, but if youre going to buy something, keep in mind the prices are high.

I was... Shocked walking in. I went to buy a handgun, and I thought I was going into a little sports shop. Nope. This place is HUGE. My husband and I ended up staying and shopping for a couple of hours before getting what we came there for. The staff is super cool and the variety of everything they have is phenomenal. They have a HOCKEY section. Like, an actual hockey section. Those are rare in Texas, yall. We had fun and the people in the gun section were very sweet and fun and helpful! Make sure yall check out the fudge shop while youre there, too!

Clean, exciting, and entertaining for all ages. Arcade games are placed around shopping areas upstairs along with robots depicting Emmit Smith and a baseball player (didnt get close enough to figure out who)Theres an archway aquarium at one entrance and a ferris wheel. Even if you dont go shopping, theres plenty to do!

Quyen was very attentive to the long check out lines and helped check out our items at the customer service. When we brought up a price discrepancy she was also able to price match what we expected. Scheels also does a 5% military discount.

It even has a large ferris wheel to ride, a 2 lane bowling alley for kids and adults and food court. Very large store to enjoy with family and friends. Prices are higher than normal for some items. Nice to enjoy and shop at. ENJOY!

I had a great experience talking to Mason at Scheels bike department the other day.I was looking for parts for my bike and had a couple of technical questions. Mason was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions. He also recommend a few things I could try to fix my bikes issues.

Wow! This place has it all!! I accidentally spent 2 hours in here just walking around. If you want anything sports related, Scheels will have it. I also cant say enough about the sales staff, my experience was great, being greeted in every section and asked if there was anything I need help with. There are a ton of interactive displays which really help to make the decision to purchase easy. Will be shopping here often.

Great selection and helpful staff. The place is at least the size of a Bass Pro Shops, if not larger. They have everything from bicycles to golf clubs to clothing to a Lego section... yes a section that sells the Lego blocks and toys. They have guns and fishing gear, as well as stand-up paddle board. Its a HUGE one-stop shopping experience for sporting goods.

The staff is excellent, the apparels manager ordered something for me they didn’t have in stock.
