I love Advance Auto, but this place has Luis who is extremely rude and really needs to learn how to interact with a customer. When I went to return an online order that was packaged bad, it came ripped with item jutting outside. The online customer service was great, and told me to return it to store to refund. Luis says if I was a lawyer, I would not take the return just because you want to. No evidence the part is not working!Of course, once I use the part I cant return coz it is used. And he was so rude about the whole thing; I just told him he really needs to change for the better if he wants to be on the other side of the counter.

I needed my brake light changed, from my understanding it’s a simple procedure if you know what you’re doing. I have no idea what i’m doing though and needed somebody’s help after purchasing one from here. Nobody was willing to help me. They gave me a screwdriver and said good luck. The signs outside say “free installation with purchase.” Guess not.
Could use a better selection. Had to drive down the street to another auto part store to find the right oil

Great well-stocked store in a great location (seriously, see the lake view in the back of the parking lot!). Staff is super friendly and helpful here, and the wide selection of products is competitively priced. They also offer online ordering with in store or curbside pickup, and have orders ready in 30 minutes or less. Loaner tools, battery testing, and starter testing is also offered free of charge here. Definitely a good place to go to for your auto parts!

Erick was so nice and talked through what he was seeing/doing while replacing my battery. It was pretty corroded, but he took the time to clean the part well before putting in the new battery.

They helped me with the battery I needed for my car.
The guys that work here arent the sharpest tools in the box. Ive worked on cars since I was a kid and graduated college through automotive technology and you would think that they would know they are talking to a car guy just by how knowledgeable he is about what hes looking for but.... they talk to you like your a 4 yr old and it was sad that the guy didnt even know what he was talking about. I wanted to cringe at the information he was giving me. The only good thing that came out of the place is that they carry the special fluids and parts for my BMW 650i that you cant just go anywhere and get.
My AC was running a bit warmer in my Jeep than when I got it. I asked a staff member and he suggested a freon recharge with AC Pro. I have used this product before in another car and loved it so I went ahead and got it. I go out, unscrew it, hook it up, and put it into my low AC port. It reads green/yellow which means enough freon is in the system. I go back in, tell him and he says thats odd, and sends me out with another new bottle. Same thing happens. He comes out to check with me, and he gets the same reading as I did. Then he says I cant return it because I already used it. I didnt use any of the product and did exactly as he told me to. He was very rude and short with me, and refused to cooperate with me. I love Advance Auto for the prices and coupons, but I will never visit this one again for the awful customer service I had.

I literally made an account just to give this place 1 star.I went in to return an unopened tool and the manager accused me of restapling the package. In his words:Ive been the GM here for 9 years I think I would know how my packages are stapledThis was my first time here buying a tool and I never opened the packaging.Do yourselves a favor and drive 30 seconds down to Autozone nearby where they have amazing customer service.

Please be aware if you purchase an item from another store, they will not allow you to return the item at this store. Yes, I had my receipt and the item was not used. I was also told by the store where the item was purchased I could return it at any store with the receipt or the phone number the item was purchased under. I dont understand the reason for the lying, especially when I was able to return the item at the Lewisville (Lakepointe) store.

Just left here guy wouldnt even come from around the counter! Went down the street to OReilly and James CAME AROUND THE COUNTER to actually show me what I needed and installed my wiper blades for me...

Called at 7:50 pm placed on hold only to be told at 8:13 sorry were closed and hung up on. The crappy part is i live across the street from store and i have sat in my driveway and watched the sales person walk around the store alone helping no one.... i guess autozone will be my only call from here on out.
