Been coming to this Firestone the past few years for everything. From simple inspections and oil changes, to most recently needed two new tires. They are always very quick and courteous about what they do. James especially is always professional and answers all your questions thoroughly. I moved further away from this location, but ill continue to come back here thanks to their great service!

Started out as a normal service, explained situation, everything communicated well..was lenient with time needed to address issues. Fast forward 5 weeks later..and after a call to corporate my vehicle was released not completed! Phones were in operable and played a role in communicating. Had to leave work every other day to get an answer to situation. Will never return to that location!!

If you want your car caught on fire, threats of calling the police on you and basically be treated like complete dirt, lied to—-take your vehicle here! They will kindly total it for you and BLAME YOU!!!I was not aware my car was taken here by my friend. The shop manager managed to convince to leave my car here! By far THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD! I wonder how many people they have done this to! No wonder they don’t do state inspections…they can’t even do tires….

We took our car here to have the A/C fixed and filed claim with insurance. The insurance adjuster came to the location and approved repairs and sent proof of payment. Apparently, Firestone will NOT begin repairs until the check is in the bank. They never communicated this information to me and when I called to follow up, they were dismissive and condescending. I spoke to my insurance agent who advised I could move my car to another shop for repairs which I did. The other shop informed me that the quote they gave my adjuster was for USED parts. Are you kidding???? AGAIN, nothing was ever discussed with me regarding the use of USED parts. DO NOT GO HERE! They are rude, dismissive, and do not communicate with their customers.

Ive been taking both my and my wifes cars here since they opened in the Colony. This location is great. They listen, are friendly, look out for you without trying to have you spend more than whats necessary. I have found it difficult to find places to take our cars in the past, and am very happy to have this location, staff and professionals working on our cars.Thank you Firestone of The Colony.

We needed immediate car care in order to travel to Denton. We were turned away from a highly rated auto care center and instead came to Firestone. James greeted us with utmost customer care and enabled us to get back on the road in no time! So very, very greatful!

Took my car in for a simple belt change on a Sunday morning and was told they were only doing tire and oil changes because no repair techs were working that day so I left car there overnight and called the next day and was told they may not have it repaired that day because only two people working. I had to go somewhere else, HUDGE waste of time.

Need to get tire replaced on a 2016 honda pilot. I called and spoke to James and Robert. He was very friendly and helped us get a really good deal including lifetime alignment. Also gave us tips how to save money with promotion that was running and finance it.We were extremely happy with the work. We got a before and after snapshot of alignment.Car was checked and inspected for everythingI was very impressed with their transparency and honest work that I am also bringing my car to have it checked, inspected and looked it.They do get busy, so be patient with them.From the 2 experience I had with them, they seem to do a very good job so far for what we need to get done.

Horrible experience this past Saturday. Waited over 2 hours to get my car serviced for something as simple as an oil change with a already confirmed 11am appointment . Blaring music playing so loud that it can be heard within the waiting room. No accountability and no empathy. I do not recommend this establishment at all and will be taking my future business elsewhere. Firestone has definitely went downhill and is not what it used to be!

Made a scheduled time for an oil change and inspection, only to be told after 1 hr and 15 min that they need to keep the car for another 35-40 min because they had just started to drain the oil pan.Once i told the on duty manager that this was unacceptable to have an inspection and oil change appointment scheduled, only to be told its going to take 2 hrs for a 30 min service, the person acting as service manager for the day, immediately told me to leave his shop and he would call the police.I said ok and walked out immediately bc of his anger and intimidation.Worse still, I had to talk with police and after all that. The acting manager then refused to finish the vehicle inspection.I have never been treated this way in my life when dealing with a service! This was not only a threatening situation created by their employee. I would hate others to experience such race filled hatred for their oil change!

On Friday, July 25th. I took my Kia Optima in for a tire service,I bought the Firestone Valera Sport prior. I told the technician I wanted the exact same tires installed and while it was being serviced to do a a/c check with these hot days coming (which had no prior issues) but for $9.99 why not. well, 4 hours later I pick up my vehicle and he informs me that my compressor is bad and quotes me at $1,900?! I decline the service and drive it back to my hotel, park it until I leave for work on Sunday, July 27th to find out they put a similar tire and not the one I asked for. And now, my a/c blows nothing but warm air when it worked perfectly fine! I’ve used Firestone for years and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Would’ve gave a 0 if it was an option.

This is the firestone next to my house. Still I always end up taking my cars to the one in Frisco. The Frisco staff is friendlier and always have better pricing available. Looks like the Colony guys cannot even get business from their own neighborhood, where as Frisco guys are winning it from outside their territory.

Charged $100 for a diagnostic I did not ask for, took 2 days to replace a popped tire, couldnt get anyone on the phone for hours.

This place was awesome!! I called and got same day Appt., Robert was an Angel. The service was fast they got me In and out in time to get to my job on time. They were also affordable. I had three qoutes and they were the lowest. I will definitely be back😊

Store Manager,James, and service advisor, Daniel, helped me start off the new year right with great customer service. I ended 2020 with the spare getting a flat, long week several flats, and I took it up to Firestone and they had me out the door with a new tire at a excellent price. Thanks!!!

Very happy with there service. My car needed new battery and they were so quick to put the new battery on this cold day.

Yesterday my wife was driving on the 121 near this Firestone store in The Colony, when an object in the road punctured her tire. She pulled into the Firestone dealer, My wife called me and I came over to the Firestone dealer. I went inside to inquire about the cost to replace the tire. The man behind the counter, whom I believe was the manger, went on the computer and then explained to me that because our car is an all wheel drive vehicle and the tire tread was at 7/32 I would have to replace all 4 tires at a cost of appx. $1248.00. He explained to me that if I didnt do this it could damage the differential. He said because of DOT he could not replace just 1 tire. I told him I wasnt doing it and had them put the spare tire on the car. We then drove the car down the street to Discount tire, about a Half mile. At Discount tire the man there explained to me that there was some merit to the theory of damaging my differential and I should replace 2 tires instead of all 4. He did tell me that I could replace just 1 tire. We had them replace 2 tires instead of all 4 at a cost of Appx $450.00 for the exact same tire brand including the extra road warranty that was quoted to me at Firestone. The car drives great now. I will never return to this Firestone location again which is sad for them because we live less than a 1/4 mile from them and potentially would gone to them for other auto repair services. Business tactics are very unethical.

My mom dropped my car off to remove a nail and patch my driver side back tire at 7am, they have not called me back to let me know if i can come pick it up, i have work in the morning and i don’t have any other type of transportation to get to work, really unhappy right now

Went there for a battery change and they were very straightforward and friendly. Lower price for installation than a nearby competitor and had me out in a little over 30 minutes. Quick service and spoke with two polite and friendly employees. Very satisfied

Very nice staff and they did a great job changing my oil and wipers and were very accommodating for setting my future appointment in rotating my tires.

What a joke is this place. The guy behind the counter was nice, but their technicians (at least the guy who serviced my car) are incompetent to a point its reckless.I got two low profile tires installed in the back. Took them an hour of just working on the car. When I went to pick up the guy behind the counter said ah this technician is not my best, so slow. very encouraging. Next day I noticed one of the tires misses balancing weights (no it didnt fall off, no marks whatsoever) and the other has a HUGE circular deep scratch due to the tires being low profile and the guy not knowing how to use the low profile tire machine. Sucks basically. Paid $40 to get the tires, now I need to pay $200 to fix the rim.. go ahead, take you car there and see the top notch experience yourself.

I dont write a lot of these reviews, but feel like I owe it to these guys. Ive only been in the area for a year and theyve been nothing but honest and generous with me. They arent trying to gouge anyone. I received an AC replacement for $1000 less than quotes from surrounding places. In addition to that, on two separate occasions, I received things free just for applying for their store card (a headlight replacement and freon evac/exchange). Today I wound up getting a free timing belt replacement during a different repair that I brought my vehicle in for. This was something they could have easily covered up, not told me about, and might have cost me $1100+ down the road. This kind of honesty is rare. Theyve definitely earned their repeat business.

Avoid this place by all means! Had to take my car back as soon as I drove it off the lot after it got “fixed” 🤦🏽‍♀️ and over priced!! Communication issue also! And caught them in a lie! I need the number to corporate!!!

Called Sunday morning, I called to inquire on getting an inspection done and was told by staff that it could be completed. I dropped my vehicle off and was assured that it would be completed same day and a phone call would be made, once done. At 5 pm, no call had been received. I showed up to collect my vehicle, only to find that the shop had been locked up, all staff was gone, with my vehicle was in the garage. All the while, the open sign was still on. So at 7 am on Monday morning, I had to get up to the shop so that I could ensure I get to work on time. What do you know, my car was done. I only knew because it had been pulled out of the garage upon opening. The gentlemen behind the counter stated he would confirm what happened, but didnt. He completed the transaction and sent me on my way. Theres a complete lack of care at this location and it shows. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Robert did a great job of checking me in and calling to explain what was found on the inspection. They completed my alignment and brake inspection within a couple of hours (dropped off). The presentation of preventative maintenance was thorough and simply explained. I like this Firestone store!

My wife and daughter have been going there for years and they treat them respectful I think these guys are good people and dont take advantage of someone who doesnt quite understand everything A# 1 guys

The managers at Firestone do everything they can to have the mechanics fix your car. They are kind and helpful, helping you understand what is going wrong with your vehicle. You are allowed in the bay area if you need to look at something pertaining to your vehicle. Pleasant experience.

Dont bring your car here unless you know a little something about cars. First of all, I went to pick up my mother who was leaving her car there because it was starting. The short 5 minutes I spent listening to the guy talk to my mom, I knew he couldnt be trusted. He was being very rude to my mother, and then was rude towards me when I asked a clarifying question. He continued to say we dont know what the problem is because it came on a tow truck so there could be more wrong then what we are talking about right now over and over. Very sketchy. So we decided to take her car elsewhere. Firestone said her battery and starter was bad, then mentioned something about the alternator. What do you know- battery and starter were perfectly FINE!! It was simply a bad wire, but they were going to charge her almost $1000 for parts she didnt even need. Screw them!

Thank you for making it right firestone!I installed front tires and had alignment in this location. Left front tire got worn out after few months. They replaced both front tires, and fixed the alignment. Hopefully this time it is balanced.A business is messured by its approach when things go bad.This place did the right thing in my case.I will return in the future.Thanks again.

I came in because my tire light came on. The gentleman that helped me told me that the pressure was low because of the cold weather. Even though he wasnt charging me, he treated me like a paying customer. Im now going back to have them do the service work. Honesty and service is a commodity these days.

Great customer service! Wasnt pressured into buying anything extra that I knew I didnt already need. They were able to get my tire fixed, and oil changed the same day I called to make an appointment. Very friendly staff. Great service!!!UPDATE:The customer service here is impeccable! This is my second visit here since I moved to The Colony. On this particular visit, I may have been a difficult customer. I had a decent amount of requests, as Im very particular about my vehicles. I worked with several different associates, and each of them made me feel like my requests were no big deal. This is the epitome of customer service at its best! I worked with a manager Casey as well. She was wonderful, and probably spent the most time with me. The customer service was so great that Im coming to this location next week with my other car, and my friends car to get the lifetime alignment on both as well as oil changes. The customer service here is what distinguishes it from anywhere else, including other Firestone locations.

Was great experience! We looked and called several places for an alignment on a F350 4-door long wheel base! They have the longer machine and did a great job! Waiting area had complimentary water and coffee with TV! Larry store Manager we will definitely be doing more business with Firestone in The Colony!

SUMMARY:Go to Costco and get a membership. I saved $200+ on a better set of tires and their customer service is exponentially better.I called the store and they allegedly ordered a set of tires from another out of state store. They never called me to tell me they arrived, so over a week later I followed up and was told theyd call me back. They never called, so I called again and was told that they didnt have the tires but they could be ordered. So again, they allegedly ordered these tires that should have arrived the next business day. Almost another week went by before I finally got another call stating the tires had arrived. Dont worry about it Firestone! Costco provided a better set of tires for over $200+ less and they followed through on their timeline quotes.

One of the best places I have ever taken a car for service or repair. They have even told me a few times I did not need some of the things a put down on a list. Trust these guys completely.

This is my second visit to this location. Theyve got wonderful customer service here! The prices are the same as anywhere else. The quality of work is as good if not better then anywhere else Ive ever been, but the CUSTOMER SERVICE is what sets it apart from anywhere else. Highly recommended this location!!!

I’d give 0 stars if I could!! NEVER AGAIN!!! As of writing this, I still have not been told the status of my vehicle. I call the store to be either dumped on hold, they never come back and answer the waiting calls, and when I call back to speak to someone, it’s a huge inconvenience that I didn’t like holding on the phone indefinitely. I will NEVER come back and I will make sure EVERYONE knows the poor customer service that they can expect.

Took care of us right away and pricing wasnt thru the roof.. they do try to find u the best deal and if theres a way to discount or add a special tag they will do it. Great job guys

He even told me the various prices of the tires before hand. All in all this is one of the most humble An respectful shops Ive ever been too. Awesome experience!! These guys rock ... I had a very rare problem with my truck and the entire team went above and beyond to research, quote, and correct the issue. Robert provided exemplary customer service. Larry went out of his way to explain the process to me, and Andrew the Tech, was even better. He IDd this difficult and rare issue, and took on the challenge. Not only did he go far beyond the call of duty to help me, he was incredibly efficient and hard working with his repairs, getting me back on the road on time for an important meeting.I dont know what you pay these guys, but they all deserve a raise.

I have been going here for years.I had a slow leak in one of my back tires. I took the tire off on Sunday and put the spare tire on. My wife took the tire on Monday at 7am on her way to work. She said the guy was very nice and told her that I could come by in the afternoon and they would put it on right away, wouldnt take a few minutes. I know these places are busy... I went by at 2:45 and I had a chubby guy with black hair. He was so busy cracking jokes about himself and I, he forgot all about customer service!! He told me they could work me in and it would take around 1 hr. I said, I am not waiting an hour for you to put 1 damn tire on thats already been fixed. He said okay, Ill get it for you and you can put it on yourself if you want. That is what I did. I told my wife what happened, she said that guy that opened the store would be furious if he knew that afternoon guy told me all of that. Well, unfortunately they are the ones that have my brand of tire. I will be back someday I guess.

This is by far the best run Firestone I have been to, and Ive been to several because I get all my tires and alignments through them. They were able to spot damage on my tire that another location missed and get me running smooth as silk. Very courteous and professional, eager to help.

Very good work but a little expensive

Had a blowout on 121. Watched the tire pressure go from 34 to 15 to 11 to 8 to 5... I got off the tollway immediately, pulling into Jeb Stevens Firestone at zero PSI! They had my tire size in stock and gave a discount available for that tire (I had no idea and they could have held full price.) Nice owner and the guys in back were nice, as well.

Not happy with this particular company. We took our vehicle in because the check engine light was on. We had had another diagnostics done by a 3rd party and pretty much knew what had to be done. Firestone wanted to do their own diagnostics, (I understand that). What was going to be about a 300 job they wanted to charge 3000. We told them we did not have that kind of money, so they said they would do everything for about 1700. Very generous. We told them we really wasnt prepared to financially put out that kind of money.Times are tough, not everyone is full of money. So we said put it back together and we will have to do it later. When we picked it up, the vehicle started shaking really rough. My husband barley was able to drive it home safely. All this within a matter of a few short hrs. The vehicle was not running rough when he pulled in. Not sure what they are trying to pull with not putting it back together correctly, but now we are down to 1 vehicle. Will try to have it towed to a different place. Really NOT HAPPY!!!. Time for a call into the Better Business Bureau. Hate scammers.

Fixed my blowout (replaced tire). The spare was put on incorrectly and the nuts sheared. They were able to get the sheared nuts off of the studs without damaging the studs and quickly replaced the damaged nuts for a reasonable price. Friendly staff and seemed very fair.

I went in with 2 flat tires and I was getting ready to pay big bucks to get them fixed/replaced but these guys managed to get me some discounts so that I paid very little (the tires I was replacing had been bought at Firestone a little more than a year ago). So, they replaced 1 tire and put a patch on the other. Well I wake up the next day and the tire they patched was flat again.....needless to say, I was not too happy. I went back and the manager, Mike Crowhurst, calmly told me hes get my car right back and fixed, meanwhile Im thinking, yeah, right! Lo and behold they got my car back and fixed immediately. Due to the inconvenience -and a warranty I had but didn’t understand- the manager replaced the tire at no additional charge! That meant a lot to me because it is not often that these big companies are willing to lose money to make a customer happy. I thought for sure these guys were going to tell me there was something else wrong with my car so they could get me to pay more but they never did. In fact, I left with paying less instead of more! Don’t get me wrong, you’re going to be waiting a while for your car but I think that is pretty standard anytime you get work done. I would highly recommend this place because I feel like I can trust these guys and that means a LOT to me when you are talking about my car!

The Colony Firestone always does right by me and the family. Have been getting my car serviced here since high school.. and if I ever do have a problem they always rectify it as fast as they can. I hope to always be a happy and loyal customer with Firestone.

Thanks to Larry Brock, Manager, and his assistant yesterday afternoon at Firestone Complete Auto Care 5283 State Hwy. 121, The Colony, TX 75056.I had a tire pressure warning light come on while driving to my soccer game. As I approached the field I saw their shop on the right. As I turned in to their lot I realized that my car was running on the drivers side wheel rim. They not only had the right tires in stock, they also replaced them while I played soccer, gave me a ride to the game (!) and did the whole thing so efficiently that I arrived in time for the kick-off. Truly great people!

No state inspection because some communication system was down. Understandable but not even an apology? Come on.. Have had bad experiences with this location in the past as well. Wont be coming back.

Honest, great work. Went in this morning because I thought I had a flat. They did a through inspection and let me know that everything was ok, filled my tires, and gave me recommendations for the future. I live all the way out in Richardson, but I will be returning to this location just based on the integrity of the employees there.

Very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly staff. Did not try to sell me anything I did not need either. I will definitely return here for my auto care needs.

Customer Service is really good, I got a $40 discount on brake service, and the work was completed quickly. I definitely will continue to come to The Colony Firestone for the great customer service.

Ive never had a problem with this location and have taken three separate cars for repairs. Theyre always knowledgeable, helpful, and fair priced. I will continue to take my vehicle to them in the future! Only once did I take a vehicle somewhere else and I got horribly ripped off. NEVER AGAIN. Always using Firestone from now on.

I do not want to mention the name of the person.It was an extreme rude behavior from him. I have never dealt with such a horrible and disrespectful person. I came to have a check on the tires of the car, there was no warm welcome but I still kept my smile on my face. The way he was talking to me was so cold like . He had a check on the tires and told me that I will need to change one of the tire of the car. Since the car wasn’t mine and I had to call my sister to inform about it, I politely asked him to give me few mins, he didn’t even listen to me completely and took off. That’s not the way to deal with the customers. I felt like a trash. I went to him and told him sorry that I don’t want to change the tire. He said ok and went to get the keys. He started to get angry and I could tell that since his face changed and started to become red. He asked some other person to return my keys. I did not like the treatment at all.After that I went to discount tire and they were such sweethearts. They checked the tires and guess what I did not have to change the tire. They repaired it and filled the air for FREE.He is a LIAR, CHEATER and a big time RACIST.Very disappointed that people still like this exist in 2018! It shows that he clearly doesn’t care about the company he’s working for, customer service and human relation!!I wasted my time with this person...

The first time I came here, I was very impressed with the customer service. I bought and had 2 tires put on to my BMW. Even tho I had to come back twice bc whoever did the work did not seal the tires onto the rims properly or something (causing several inconvenient mornings of have low tires on my way to work) I came back bc the customer service was good. Maybe there’s been a staff change? Bc that was not my experience this time around. When I called their systems were down- it happens. But what frustrates me is the lack of follow up and follow through. After calling this location back several times for updates and not having someone follow up with me as promised, I’ve decided to take my business to Discount Tire(who’s prices are better anyway)

Worst service ever. I was told 45 min for an oil change, it took almost 4 hours. They supposed to change the oil but I still get ENGINE OIL LEVEL MIN after 5 min oil changed. I am late for my kids school and docs appointment. They have no clue why car is still giving an oil change fault. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE, you will REGRET.

Very friendly customer service. They were extremely busy and obviously overwhelmed.the customer service is excellent! I was taking my family on a vacation and we had a tire failure. The whole reason I choose Firestone for my tiires is because they have centers everywhere.To make a long story of gratitude short, despite being overbooked the csr wss caring and could see my desperation. They went to extra effort to make sure they got to me and honored their warranty. What could hsve been a nightmare of having to tell my family thst their vacation wss ruined, was quickly turned into a situation of gratitude. Thank you The Colony Firestone for being there for me and my family1 Our youngest son is graduating from high school and joining the military and you saved our last family vacation by quickly getting the problem solved. I cannot recommend anyone hogher.

These folks have to work on their customer service skills. I️ walked in and they stared at me, turned and continued doing other things. I️ had to speak up to get their attention. Rude behavior as well. They should all attend customer service training. I️ will never speak a dime there.

At first Fire Stone was a great company a few years ago! My parent’s went to another store after one pricey adventure from them. I don’t mind paying a little more for a good job. But after my car was in a bad wreck things started to go down hill. As in flaming barrel down to a pile of half filled gasoline tanks done hill disaster. Every time since I have gotten my fire stone card and the initial wreck, all ‘repairs’ done on my car have taken two or three return trips. Because SOMETHING is always missing or done wrong. I am listing the four examples in detail here so maybe someone else might avoid this two year disaster and stressful situation.First issue I have been to this store three times for the issue with my AC. At first it was the blower motor. Then it was a faulty blower motor. Now I need a bunch of other parts in my AC replaced because someone there didn’t check if my AC was blowing cold air? Why wasn’t that checked when you FIRST looked at it?Second issue was my check engine light and an oil change. Oil change took over two hours. But I was desperate to get my check engine light working so I waited. Only for them to completely ignore my check engine light. They didn’t even check it or run the code to see what it was. I had to take it to Auto Zone. AUTO ZONE!!! They don’t even do tire changes and they did a better job than the mechanics I am paying a hefty price for? I should not have to take my car back multiple times for something I requested looked at for my car. There is no record on the papers saying they even looked at it.Third is the most grievous of the four issues I am stating. My brakes... I came in for an issue of my brakes not breaking at all. I brought them in and it has a ‘full check over’ and the mechanic comes back saying it’s completely fine! Nothing is wrong at all! I nearly kill myself in two wrecks going to a friends house. One of which was on the high way at 80 miles an hour. I never made it to my friends house because I felt so unsafe in the vehicle Fire Stone claimed was perfectly fine. I get home shaky and scarred to death. My grandpa takes one look. There was no brake fluid in the car. You mean to tell me, that after I expressed my issues with my breaks the mechanic didn’t even bother test driving or checking my break fluid? Worse if they did test drive it they thought it was fine? We didn’t even bother going to them. Grandpa fixed it up and then found all four of my breaks were broken or damaged. Again: The Fire Stone mechanics said my car was completely safe to drive with front and rear broken breaks and no break fluid in my vehicle.Last was something I should have seen coming at this point. After taking my car in for a recall it had a long list of things it needed fixed. So we took it to fire stone. I gave them one more chance to redeem this huge disaster of two years. So this, I will say was on me for trusting them. Instead of just replacing my break pad they wanted to replace the whole axel. It was cheaper, I was already stressed, so I said sure hey not? I drive it home only for something to be rubbing on my axel making a metallic sound... Great! We get to do this song and dance again! Brought it back and they fixed it. Though a new issue has occurred. My car brakes now braked much slower than before. This being my first car, I expressed this issue and everyone said it was fine. My mom took it out on the road and says that no there is defiantly something wrong with my breaks. The only ones to touch my car before this issue was Fire Stone. So I take it in Because per liability, they were the last to touch the car and if it was something of their doing they would fix it. However... We get a call saying it’s going to be $178 for a new part (compared to $200) because the item in question is no where near the axel. But it is a break pump issue. I expressed to them that this issue did not start occurring until AFTER they did all the work on my car. Why am I being punished for a mistake a mechanic made on my vehicle? This is my warning to everyone just don’t go here.

Customer service was great, inspection had some issues that had to be fixed. It took longer than I expected, had to come back week later to finish it.

Havent gone in yet, but plan to tomorrow. Spoke with Paul, who is absolutely wonderful to talk to and he really did go above and beyond to get me a good price, knowing my current situation, and how financially devistated I am. Thank you Paul! !

Great service at a good price are

This place is so slow. While watching employees in the car bay area they dont seem to have a care in the world that people are waiting for them to complete a service. Was quoted wait time would be approx 1.5 hours. Its now been almost THREE HOURS!!!! Also, no updates given as to why the wait is so long. Will never return here.
