Would have been a negative number if I was able. Been in contact with a salesman ALL week getting everything in place to buy a truck. Financing was approved. Husband was trading his truck. He had to work so the paper signing was put off til Friday. Everyone was in agreement. On Friday morning at 1030am he sends a message to them saying he is on his way to sign the papers. Upon arrival he is told they sold the truck to someone else. After asking, are you serious, all they will say is he had cash. So, you ran his credit, which is a hard hit and will affect his credit score. He had Been to the bank to withdraw the down payment and that is all you can say? Sorry but not sorry. You should have told the new customer that truck was sold but you would order one just like it for him. You sold our vehicle out from under us because you made one phone call, he did not answer because he was out of range of service and took it upon yourself to believe he was not coming to finish the deal. More than one attempt should have been made to contact him. But where is your customer service at? The credit had been run, the financing submitted, the paper work printed and the agreed upon date for signing made. Now because you cant honor your word we have to go somewhere else and have the credit run yet again, another hard hit to his score which lowers your credit score! And go through the whole process again. We will never come to your dealership again. We will never recommend your dealership to anyone. We were customers previously, you ruined it. Never again will my family deal with someone who can not honor the deal made.

Worked with this dealer for over a week on a vehicle. They did work hard but in the end, you start to get the run around and they cannot answer simple “dealer and finance questions” before finalizing the deal. Some were rude and others were nice. I passed on my deal due to the rudeness of one. If you do decide to do business here and just like mentioned in another review, go straight to Chip and skip the salesmen.

I have bought two vehicles for my company from Thomaston Ford. They are great to deal with. Each time, I found the process hassle free. They are honest and upfront about any of the details you need to know. Chipper the GM really made the process stress free. I am a business owner and do not have a lot of time, on both occasions that I have bought a truck for my company, they had me in and out in just a few hours. After the sale, I returned for some service and I must say the service department was just as fantastic to work with. This is a small family owned dealership and I highly recommend you try them out for sales or service on your ford vehicle. Great job Thomaston Ford!

Purchased my Ford Escape 2017 when they first arrived. The comfort, mileage, power and sleek styling are the best. This is a lot easier to get out of than a lower sitting car, a big plus as you get older. Great Dealership to work with and have your service done.
Not sure I want to give a review for this place, my mama always told me if you dont have anything good to say dont say anything at all. That being said here goes its a small town dealership good people. Now my biggest gripe their service department does not have enough qualified service technicians, I worked for a Fortune 500 RV Dealership for 32 years I started off as a parts runner I swept floors and work my way up. I Service Manager for the last ten years and I believe I know a little about the automobile service industry and this place just falls very short when it comes to servicing the products they sell.

Thomaston Ford treated me very much like family. When I bought my used car and my new car. Everytime I go in for service Im treated with respect and greeted with a hug. I would definitely buy here again.
I had a great experience with Thomaston Ford. I was purchasing my first vehicle and the staff walked me through the process step by step. they found me the best deal. There was no secrets. A few days after my purchase, an issue arose with my vehicle and the Thomaston Ford staff worked with my schedule to get the issue fixed. Communication with the staff has never been an issue. I will continue to do business with Thomaston Ford in the future.
Frustrated! I simply wanted a price for a certain vehicle with certain options. They called me back and said I missed the deadline to order this year. I told the salesman i guess this Ford guy will try Dodge. The Dodge dealer could not get the exact truck either but they found a similar one and brought it in from another dealer. Maybe this Ford dealer is just looking for the easy sale.
Service Department will swindle you out of your cash.I Took my pickup for an a/c servicing back in May 2016. I received a phone call the next morning stating that my compressor had stopped working. I replied “really because I brought the truck in for a routine charge, no problems with the compressor beforehand just wasnt cooling as much as I wanted it to on a 90 degree day 80 degrees or below the truck did great”. After all that he recanted and said your compressor is starting to go bad making a funny noise. He told me it would be $1500 to get you back up and running again. Upon arrival they had the quote ready for me to decide on getting the work done. I paid them $108.00 and left in the truck . I Turned the ac on and it blew hot air constantly. I called the service guy and I said that was unacceptable because now I have nothing. He told me to bring it back up there to see if they can get it back how it was before.I picked my truck up the following day and miraculously the A/C was back blowing cold as ever. I am contacting you almost a year later because I honestly feel like Thomaston Ford tried to swindle me out of $1500.They thought I wouldn’t understand anything about my truck and decided to simply leave the Freon out so I would think the compressor was bad and I would have to purchase a new one. It’s been 11 months and my compressor is still working just fine. The compressor isn’t making any strange noises like the service manager stated nor is it not cooling like it should, something has to be done about this issue.
Seriously get ur hopes up then act like they dont wanted help you. Because they find out that ur credit isnt good enough for them so they doge u. And suppose help but if I dont have money that fit them then you are nothing. Some of them are nice and clean place.
This is an awful place to go! If you are looking for a dependable used car, i would advise you go somewhere else. My experience here was horrible, starting with the test drive. The salesman had to drive the car off the lot first and then down the road allowed me to drive. I wasnt allowed to drive over 45 miles an hour bc he took us downa subdivision and when asked about this, he got upset. Well excuse me, but if Im not allowed to test drive a car the way i want to, there isnt much need in a test drive. I noted that the air conditioning was not workout properly in the vehicle and i repeatedly questioned the salesman about it. His response wasthe air conditioning is working just fine. Its 100° outside. What do you expect? Its a lot cooler in here than it is our there Which was true. It was cooler inside the car than out, but it was still very hot. When i kept pushing about the air conditioner and having it fixed before we bought it, he wrote up a piece of paper stating they would check the air conditioning. That was the catch I missed bc they didcheck it. But they did not repair it. Thats a big difference. They just actually lied about it. These people are not trustworthy and will lie to you to get you to purchase a vehicle! So if you are looking for a dependable used vehicle I would certainly steer clear of Thomaston Ford!

I was lied to from the start regarding the condition of the Altima. It had to have a new engine in 700 miles, plus a new catalytic converter.I paid 5,000 dollars cash and then had to spend another 5,000 dollars on a rebuilt engine, and a converter. Was latter told that they knew it was bad when they sold it to me. Thomaston Ford is the worst in honest of any dealer I know. Stay away or you will regret it!

At a horrible time in his life Mr. John Micheal Bullard sold me my Kia with the pain of his daughters passing. He was polite and helpful. Despite the deviation he was going through...He kept his head up and did his job professionally and was very polite

Stay far far far awayyyyy from this place as much as possible! They are all family CROOKs!!! They let me get a car and the salesman talked my ears off for hours! We got there in the morning and did not leave till later on that evening due to all the stories I was told. As a result, my husband missed out on work and I did as well. By the time we left, the emissions office closed that THEY wanted me to go to so they said to keep the car overnight and in the morning, take it to get emissions which is unprofessional. They should have taken it themselves. The car had CV AXLE ISSUES. The dealer told me not to worry because those take years to give out. Then all the tires were bald, dents on the outside, the headliner on the ceiling roof drooped badly with slashes in it. So I returned that LEMON in less than 24 hours. Its was an 02 dodge ragady caravan most insurance companies would not even insure it because it was just that ragady! Finally they gave me their referral for insurance that charged me 200 dollars down instead of 300. I tried to cancel the insurance and they only want to give me 57 BUCKS backs to to cancellation fees. Im like what, I never even signed a lease of contract. Now my insurance said ok if the dealership can fax in proof that you never took ownership of the vehicle then you can it it all back. Well manager Leon Griddick was being non compliant with the insurance company and so I called to speak with him. He gets snotty with me and said what are you calling me for. Unbelievable!!!! If he does not provide proof, we will be on the news to show everyone how much of a crook you are and my lawyer will be seeing you as well.

This review is for the service dep. at Thomaston Ford !My daughter went there to get an oil change in her Ford Fiesta. She came home telling me that they told her she needs new tires if she wants to drive this summer, quote for 4 new tires,, $425, according to the service department she also needed her rear brakes replaced, quote $179, spare key for her 2012 Fiesta, quote $300+She literally has thousands of miles left on her tires on her car. She did NOT need rear brakes AT ALL...another dealership will make her key for $195.Needless to say, I as her mother I am furious, they completely took advance of a young woman, trying to get money out of her for services she DOES NOT NEED !!People please dont waste your hard earned money at this dealership, go somewhere else !!!ps. The general manager has literally known us for over 20 years. The service dep told my daughter they could not make her a spare key without proof of ownership of her car ?? Like we drive around in stolen cars ??? yeah right !! I called the general manager while she was there getting an oil change ( her last one ever at this place ) to ask about this, he said he would call me right back..never heard a word !!
Do not trade in here. Extremely low trade in value. I was offered 7000 for my trade in here. Speedway Ford in Griffin gave me 9000. I wasted almost an entire day at this dealership. Greedy. Greedy. Greedy.
Purchased a great little car from there!
Was told the repair would take 3 days. Three weeks later, received my vehicle back, paid $2000 just to find out a month later that the parts wasnt replaced just tightened to get me out of the way. Critical parts which was obvious was over looked. A wasted $2000 paid for so call professional work. :-(.
