Picking out furniture is already a tough process and even though it was a rocky start, due to inventory restriction and not having any of the sectionals we were looking at in stock, we went back a second time and we are very happy we did. The sales team here isn’t the most knowledgeable about what they sell but they do try to find out the information anyway they can. The delivery services are outstanding! They were fast and efficient in getting our sectional put together. They were very friendly and professional. Plus out of all the furniture stores we went to they are they most cost friendly, after all who wants to spend $10,000 on a couch?! We will definitely be returning back!

I took some time on selecting furniture for my new place. After shopping online at wayfair, Macys, overstock and others I really liked specific items at American Furniture Warehouse (and the price was even better in store than online.) Freddie helped us keep track of everything I was looking at, letting us know which items were delayed and making recommendations based on my preferences. The delivery guys were great - quick, and efficient. Im really happy with my purchase (and Ive got a future delivery expected for the items I really wanted but werent available yet.) 100% recommend!

We tried ordering a sectional from a different company that kept getting delayed. I found one I liked even better from AFW and it was delivered within a month of purchase as promised. The delivery guys were very experienced and friendly. The couch fits our space perfectly and looks wonderful! Very pleased so far.

This place makes you forget about Amazon and ikea. I am a poor college student. Saw a commercial for this store and decided to walk in and browse. Was taken awake by the affordability and quality of their furniture! Ended up buying a whole bedroom set. Would recommend this store, they also price match anything you see online.

I am a long time customer of AFW and after moving into a new home last weekend, I got great prices on some new furniture this week during the Labor Day sales event. It was delivered quickly and with care. I love my new sofa and chaise set!! It fits perfectly in my new home.

We have purchased multiple furniture items from AFW. We tend to go with spending a little more money in order to get the better quality items. As a result, a lot of our furniture is still in great shape and we plan on keeping it for a long period of time. Anytime we have had issues with furniture, we’ve called AFW within our warranty time and they’ve replaced or repaired our items. Delivery is easy and quick; guys are in-and-out with the items, and are always respectful and helpful!

I love me some Jake Jabbs!!! He is such a staple for me and my family when it’s comes to furnishing our homes. I grew up in CO and he’s always had the best and most competitive pricing and his delivery folks are top notch. Great job!!

Got a notice the guys were 10 minutes away from my condo in galveston with a delivery. fine but i was 20 minutes away because they were a few hours early. all good. furniture in great shape and they took great care in the delivery.

I was torn between 4 and 5 stars. They deserve 5 stars for price and availability and ultimate delivery. But I took off a star because I got a delivery date in 2 days when I placed the order - which was exceptionally good. But without notifying me they cancelled that delivery because they hadn’t received the bookcase I ordered. Only when I called to check on delivery time did they tell me it was cancelled & I needed to reschedule. They then gave me a date 2 more days in the future. So I still got it quickly & the delivery guys arrived slightly early and were very pleasant and professional. On arrival I did notice it was slightly scuffed on one side at the bottom but it pretty much buffed out with some good furniture polish. In all, it’s far better than I expected for the price.

Delivery was great, set is beautiful. Only issue is that there are some bleach-looking spots on the top and side of my dresser. I thought maybe it might be a bit of the design, but none of the other pieces have it. Called AFW, so we’ll see what happens, but it’s very disappointing. :(Edit: Damn near perfect customer service here. They would have swapped out the dresser with no questions asked, but I decided I liked a different set better and they’re swapping those out instead. Sigh, I’ve missed good customer service. :)

Saw what I liked at the store—the Mammoth sectional. Ordered a variation of it online since most of the setups were back ordered. They scheduled the delivery date a few days out from the estimation, but that was fine. We were notified quickly. :) Day of delivery, I got a reminder text. Delivery guys called two hours before the window — they were early and super quick! Very friendly and efficient. 10/10 would recommend. Great sectional!

The website showed that the item was in stock at this location for a changing table we were interested in. There was nothing except a rude employee telling us we would have to order online... wish I would have known that before the hour drive. The website still shows it in stock in Thornton. Its all good though. We found a great one somewhere else.

American Furniture Warehouse used to be somewhere you could trust to get good quality and fair priced furniture. It is still decent price, but the quality is no longer there. In the last 2 years we have purchased a large family room set, and a full size bed. Interestingly enough, we have the identical bed we bought from AFW 12 years ago. There is no comparison. The older furniture is built better with better products. The newer (same) bed is not worth any amount of money. It was broken 1 hour after they delivered and built it. Very disappointing. One of the 2 sofas we bought came apart about 4 months after buying. They sent someone out to look at it. Their repair man said it was not user fault, but faulty furniture. We waited months for phone calls and Finally were sent a large box. It contained cushions. There is nothing wrong with the cushions! The “wood” supports in several places are splintering and breaking. The Guarantee/warranty on the furniture is an absolute joke. Not worth it. Go somewhere else pay a little more and have decent furniture that will last. Or go to big lots and pay a little less for better quality furniture. Jake Jabs, you should be ashamed of what your company has come to. Very sad.

Ive been shopping here for over 15yrs. Everything was fine until my couch broke after the second month of having it. Ive been bounced around for the last 5 months and no resolution yet. Honestly at this point after calling them, sending pics, talking to Derek one of the managers at this locations I give up. No one has taken ownership to fix or replace my new couch. One of the worst experiences I have ever had here. I’m a frequent shopper here, and I don’t think I’ll be back. Couldn’t get helpLoading and was told only they could tie down my items. when I asked for twine I was told no. I watched them hand gentleman next to me twine while he tied his own items up. Then was told I needed to love for others customers to come in to the dock.

I order a couch from FL for delivery in AZ. It worked out great! The sleeper couch is amazing as I slept on it for several nights. The delivery guys were happy. We had a little trouble opening the sleeper part but called and the support service guided us through it. Turns out the zip tie was not cut. It opens easily now. I would recommend this couch.

Ordered sectional couch on August 1st, got 2 of the 3 pieces, they keep saying next month next month, as of now still waiting on 3rd piece, its Oct 30th. Fast to take the money but slow to deliver product.Where is the rest of my couch, its been 3 months.

Standard go to for affordable options. They try and have something for everyone. Sales people have gotten less “vulture” like, so that’s an improvement. Not much “heirloom” quality items but it’s been a longstanding business and sometimes the only furniture option for miles. The Thornton store I believe is the oldest and smallest store they have. I wander through occasionally and have noticed they’ve been upping their gave in the styles and color department. If your looking for a great accent chair, excellent place to start. Really like the mid mod vibe they’ve been working on.

I purchased two office chairs, one Hot pink mesh fabric and the second one, Colalt blue mesh fabric and also six cube organizer with fabric drawers. Our sales person was “KW”, Kamani Wash, he did a great job on finding our products, making sure they are in stock and telling us how things work for pick up out of the warehouse, KW did a great job!

I originally ordered quite a few items from American Furniture Warehouse. My only “issue” had been my sofa. We ordered a sofa/loveseat set along with multiple other items. The loveseat was absolutely fine, however, we had to have the sofa re-delivered five times. We had consistent damage, for whatever reason.The company was prompt with my warranty issues, we were able to keep a sofa until a new one was delivered. The warranty department worked incredibly hard to work with me and figure out a solution. We finally had the 5th sofa delivered today and it’s perfect. Call it bad luck.Delivery and set up of all items was wonderful. Although we had some issues, I would definitely continue to order from AFW because of their incredible customer service.

Recieved a call and text notifying me when the delivery was 10 minutes away, which was also earlier than the scheduled window (a more than welcome surprise!). Delivery guys were promt, careful, and friendly!

Best deliverymen Ive had in a long time. Both were friendly, professional and took extra care in not scratching my walls or furniture while carrying it up my enclosed two flights of stairs with a twist between the flights. Ten out of ten definitely recommend. I only wish I asked for their names.

Our dressers and storage bench were much nicer than we expected and the delivery was fast and courteous. We actually just needed some temporary furniture items for our rental while our permanent house is being built, but these pieces are going to be keepers, I think! No, theyre not heirloom pieces but they work well among our more expensive antiques. Theyre sturdy, solid, function nicely and look very nice. Weve returned to AFW over and over for quick furniture solutions (Theyre local for us.) and were never disappointed. Easy to work with and nice furniture for the price.

In the past I’ve had pleasant experiences but what is going on with the merchandise coordinator or who ever is in charge of updating the in stock furniture. I bought a sectional on may 3 2021 and it is now August 2. I keep being told “wait a week, or two” then in June it was wait two more weeks then check at the beginning/end of month. Today I am also being told to wait till mid August. Will I even have new couches by next year? Who knows?If the sales person would of been more transparent on how behind deliveries are then maybe I wouldn’t be in this predicament. She explicitly said “the couch is in the shipment dock being delivered, expect a call tomorrow”. Why does the computer system even let them sell things are so delayed?Oh and also sometimes I can schedule a delivery only for it to be cancelled. I understand that given the times more people are buying furniture but this is ridiculous. You’re going to tell me that no one since may has bought the same sectional I did??? I don’t think so.

Theres always a damage on your furniture please Becareful when buying there furniture make sure you check them before the guys that delivered it leaves . I was so mad seening this and they even cover it up with the sticker I spent two hours putting my clothes away in my new dressers and when I notice behind the Drawers I moved it and I remove the sticker and there it was the big hole supposedly there will be a guy coming over on Tuesday to try to fix it yeah I want to see how he’s gonna be able to fix the big hole and now I have to wait a couple of days to get new ones delivered also one of the drawers doesn’t work .I definitely want to know the names of the guys who deliver it because I even bother giving them a good tip for them to try to cover up something like that it’s very upsetting

Just got my first piece of furniture from AFW and I am beyond thrilled with the entire experience. I bought it online two days ago and I’m already sitting on my new couch. The furniture delivery guys were awesome and very professional and timely, and set it up quickly and even put floor protectors on the bottom of the couch. It’s all been absolutely perfect! Would buy again 100% - highly recommend.

The ordering process is so easy. A service rep calls to schedule appt. You then receive a text/e-mail the day before providing the 4 HR delivery window. Later that day you receive another e-mail that provides an even more approximate time with the ability to get updates along their delivery path. American warehouse in Thornton are not good customers service. The managers are so rude with customers. Manager name- Marry was really very rude with me during new order in store. Poor customer service. Not helpful.I ordered couple things 2 months ago . American wheelhouse took money 💰 from my credit card but unable to process my order in time. I paid twice for same items that I had ordered. Till today I have not got my order and Im still waiting for because I pay off already. I hope this will be not happened to other customers. Not good for business. I believe customers is everything for business so please dont ignore and rude with customers.Timely order and delivery are good trust for customers and business . Lets start with the good, they have a huge selection and are not ikea quality. Now the bad experience I had. First off getting anyone to help was a challenge, great they are busy but this did not make me feel like my business was even wanted. Second once I found the pieces of furniture that I liked I was not told anything about them just taken to the register to pay and in a hurry. The hurry aspect probably is due to not having enough employees. Then once my furniture was delivered it was missing a chair from the dinning table set and the office chair came with no instructions as if it was also a floor model. I can not say enough about be aware that unless you are physically taking the item out of the store you are probably not going to be getting what you expect.update. Spoke with customer service and they worked with me to get me the missing chair.

While the delivery times posted on the website are misleading and the instructions for scheduling a delivery literally tell you to call to schedule your delivery, then the next sentance says you cannot schedule your own delivery... despite this, we do like our new sofas and the delivery itself was on time and professional.

Furniture is appropriately priced for my needs. Online checkout was quick and easy. Delivery service is some of the best I have seen from any company. They called to set the delivery appointment which was only about a week out and they showed up on time. Piece was already fully assembled. The truck crew was in and out in 5 minutes. Great service!

I had to take the time to let you guys know that Larry is exceptional a great sales man!! We’ve been to this location about 4 times in the last week! Every time I have an issue with the girl at the pick up booth! She is completely extra makes us go back inside every time so that someone can verify our purchase with Apple Pay!!!!!! You would think she knows the drill by now, she needs to be retrained!! I have the receipt my bank statement the card my ID!! What else does she need, completely irrational, but it wasn’t this hard for you to take my money!!! So ridiculous. How do you not know how Apple Pay works, it’s 2021 let’s get it together!!

Never going back here. Actually, that’s not true; I HAVE to go back to pick up the furniture I already paid for. But their nightmare logistical pickup system was compounded by the lack of communication between their pickup shed and the store, so the ladies in the shed wouldn’t let me get the stuff I had JUST paid for (well, 40 minutes earlier, because of that ludicrous line at the logistics shed). So I had to walk back into the store, get it straightened out, then wait in the 40 minute line again, at which point I was out of time. Anyway, it wasn’t worth it for what I already know is cheap (in price AND quality) furniture. I’ll go elsewhere from now on. To be fair, the salespeople on the floor and the express cashiers were very pleasant and helpful.

Placed an order and got the wrong sofa. The order was out of stock. When the delivery people got to my home they refused to take them out because of the wrong order. I called and they exchanged them to the right order.I was told it was only going to be around two weeks. Almost 3 weeks passed I called again and they said it was going to be two more weeks. I decided to cancel the order. They said to expect my money back 3 to 5 business days as standard. Checked my bank account and I only got $88. Called AGAIN. They don’t know why it happened and now I have to wait to get my over $1k refund back. Ridiculous!

This is my first time ordering a couch and I did the measurements and I thought it was going to fit and work out. When I got the couch it didn’t fit and part of it was in front of the door so hard to get in and out. So I went back to the store and called the customer service and was proved to do an exchange. Today they came by and picked up the couch that was in the way of my door. Can’t wait until my new couch come in and hopefully it will work out. Thank you all for your help.
