Mark at the Thornton location really helped me out with a remodel project in my basement. I was pulling out some old carpet and wanted to really change the feel of the room, and go with something durable and easy to maintain. He came out the same day I contacted them over the web and measured the room and gave me some great suggestions for a staircase going to the basement. Came in the following Saturday and ordered new Coretec floor. He also had some Stainmaster carpet remnants to replace the carpet on the existing stairs which worked out great. The installs went well and Im very pleased with the results. I highly recommend Carpet Mill and Mark at the Thornton location. Great customer service and amazing results.

About 15 years ago, we had Carpet Mill replace carpet in our home.We needed to have the carpet replaced in our new home due to the awesome job prior, we wanted to to go with Carpet Mill again.We were welcomed by Justin Samuelson at the Thornton store and he was super knowledgeable and very helpful. We couldnt decide which color so Justin brought extra samples to the house when he came to do the measurements which was a good thing, because we ended up changing our minds from our original decision. I had a great experience buying Stainmaster carpet here; the process was seamless and the install was quick. We had an issue with a Shaw rebate, but the store manager called us and sorted it out extremely quickly. My husband and I were very happy with the carpet we had installed in our home last month. We had the pleasure of working with Mark from the start. I would highly recommend this Carpet Mill Outlet store and want to share my experience with this store. I am especially thankful for all the great help from the manager Mark. We were in the process of adding a significant addition to our house and had ordered a very large roll of carpet for many rooms. The carpet arrived and Mark held it in his storeroom for installation. As is the case in many construction projects, ours did not go well and we had to rehire some subcontractors and the project went long (almost 9 months!). I kept calling Mark and pushing off the installation date. Mark was overly accommodating and assured us to not worry. He said when we were ready for installation the carpet would be there. He did not hesitate to add that he would hold the roll in his warehouse with no issues or concern. When the time finally came for installation, he was right on it and sent the crew as promised with the roll of carpet (now 9 months in storage!) for installation. They did a fantastic job in placement as well. This carpet had a pattern and the joints are seamless throughout. I cant say enough about the EXTREMELY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE from MARK and his crew! I recommend this location to anyone that asks!

Mark was awesome to work with! From the moment we walked in the door he was friendly and knowledgeable. We bought a large rug (8x11) and had discussed some options over the phone before we even arrived. He followed up on questions and even sent me pictures. We will be doing our basement soon and will definitely call him to take care of that.

We purchased laminate flooring and carpet. We had them install the carpeting. They did a great job. We installed the flooring in our basement, and I have to say, that it is better than the flooring we have upstairs by far. The only problem that I have is the policy on the flooring. Even when they measured what we needed, they will still charge a restocking fee if you were to return it. So we kept all of it instead of throwing the money away. Other than that they were very good.

Mark is just completely wonderful. Within two hours of entering the store for the first time, he had come to my home to measure everything out, gone back to the store to crunch the numbers, and had a specific quote for me. So easy! So helpful! Thanks Mark!

I had a hard surface floor installed in my house in October. The floor was not installed correctly. I called my salesperson they agreed the floor was not installed correctly and it will need to be fixed. That was three months ago. Since then I have been told that they need to reorder the floor and have the installer look at the job. My calls are not returned for days. We had an appointment for the sales person and installer to come over last Friday and the no call no showed. I would not recommend this company for your flooring needs.

When we built our home, 15 years ago, we chose the cheapest base carpet, thinking we’d replace it in a few years... We finally have, so this was a big step for us. Carpet Mill was actually the first place I looked before checking others, and I ended up returning and getting one of the first things I saw.Justin was really helpful and informative. We needed a “Pet Guard” product and Justin explained the differences and advantages. He came to measure the space personally, and his measurement was about 80 sq. ft. less than another vendor had measured, so that represented a substantial saving. He also came a second time the same day to show us some additional color samples we had requested.The only hiccup was that on the day of the scheduled installation, no one showed up or called. I called Justin and he checked and found out there was an unspecified problem with the installation crew, but they could still come. When they were not here by 1:00 PM, we cancelled for the day, but then the leader of the backup crew called and said they could still make it. We decided to wait for the next day and he was able to accommodate that schedule. They arrived on time the next day and completed the work very efficiently. At this point, the installation appears to be first rate and we are very pleased with the product and workmanship, so the 1 day delay is not a big deal. We do wish someone would have called and let us know as that day was pretty much wasted for us, but all’s well that ends well, and the product and service have otherwise been great. I would definitely recommend.

The sales, service and installation of the flooring all exceeded our expectations and will use Mark and this Carpet Mill outlet for our upcoming carpet replacement and for any other flooring needs we may have in the future. They actually managed to delete one of my other posts. I visited the Carpet Mill Outlet at the Mission Trace Shopping Center to begin pricing flooring for my home. When I arrived with my 3-year-old daughter, we were the only customers in the store. Still the employee there treated us like we were an inconvenience to him. He acted like it was painful for him to answer our questions, and treated me like I was wasting his time. The prices were very high when compared to their competitors. Sometimes high prices can be offset by great customer service, and product knowledge. This is not one of those times. I will be bringing my $10K job elsewhere where I will not waste their time.

If looking for flooing for your house you definitely need to try here I had an enjoyable experience with the help of Mario he made my decisions easy just told him what I was looking for and knew exactly what I was after its nice to have someone who knows their trade and not have to ask a million questions and be patient with questions I did have. The office people were nice. The carpet installers were extremely messy. I had a mess in my front yard, driveway, and street to clean up, AND the mess they left in my house! But the carpet looks nice and was a good price.

Went looking for wood and Mario was very helpful. Had a lot of knowledge and educated me, which helped me on what we should get. Lastly, mario was not a pushy sales representative.

In Dec 2016, Carpet Mill Outlet in Thornton, came to our home to measure for new hard wood flooring where we had carpeting (1/2 of our main level was carpet and 1/2 was existing hardwood floors). This visit was important, as we wanted to make sure to match our existing hardwood floors. The rep. said our existing hardwoods were White Oak...and that they had the White Oak in stock, but was a darker color. We were OK with the darker color, as our intentions were to eventually refinish all of the floors at a later date...so we went ahead and paid $3000 including install. In February 2017, we contacted a company to refinish all of the hardwood floors, and on April 5th they started refinshing all hardwoods to match. During the sanding, it was discovered that our old existing hardwoods were NOT White Oak, but Red Oak...and the installed wood by Carpet Mill had started to buckle in many areas...which was occurring because the wrong size staples were used...some boards had only 1 staple or were not stapled at all, and no glue in many areas (3/4 hardwoods need a certain size staple, and should be stapled every 6 and glued). At this point, in the middle of refinishing, we were left with no choice but to totally tear out the hardwoods installed by Carpet Mill ($3000) and purchase new hardwood (not from Carpet Mill Outlet)! We went to Carpet Mill Outlet in Thornton showing pictures we had taken, we kept the old wood, and that our contractor would testify. The Carpet Mill rep admitted he didnt know the difference between Red & White Oak, however, concerning the improper install...they would not stand behind the install because it was over their 12 month install guarantee...and they said had we called within the 12 months they would have come out to the home to fix the floor. Well...we had NO WAY of knowing this until we started refinishing!!! So, buyer be aware!!!Sad but true...a costly learning experience...:-(

Salesman was not helpful at all. We were asking for an 8 x 10 area rug and tried to sell us one that was over $1,000. When we told him what we were wanting to spend he lost interest in helping us. We bought a 5x7 rug and never offered a rug pad nor did he say thank you.

I cant stress enough how awful this store is. The customer service is very poor and the carpet installers do poor work. My carpet was not stretched property and had a big bubble in it. There response was, nobody will see it anyway. Really thats their answer. This disregard for quality work starts at the store and goes way up to top management. Do NOT give them your business. I wish I had done the research ahead of time. The complaints about Carpet Mill Outlet are never ending. Really a bad company that doesnt deserve your business.

Didnt realize a carpet store had douche salesmen. Dude was put off because we werent in there for a whole house of carpet, but a custom sized area rug. Apparently even though we were the only ones in the store we werent big enough fish. He literally gave us minimal info then walked away and disappeared. We waited around after picking out the carpet for about 10 minutes then we just left. Ill take my money elsewhere....now I remember why I ALWAYS end up at carpet exchange. I hate this store.

I spoke to a manager, cherish, she set up an appointment. I took off from work to meet the appointment.She calls 15 minutes before the appt and stated scheduling had overbooked and that she had to reschedule into next week. Keep in mind that she stated she makes her own appointments. Needless to say I cancelled any further dealings with carpet mill. I called the general manager he stated that his people do these inhouse apps and measurements for free and that they are entitled to cancel appointments. Ok folks, WE are not stupid, we know that nothing is free, EVERYTHING is included in a final price. ALSO MEASUREMENTS HAVE TO BE DONE INHOUSE. This guy is a piss poor businessman. I own my business, I know how it works. I had a 600 sq foot job at my home, which I awarded to another company. Also, I awarded them a 2000 sq foot job at my business. Carpet mill lost several thousand dollars worth of business due to their stupidity. Exceedingly, PISS POOR SERVICE. IF THESE PEOPLE WORKED FOR ME, THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN TERMINATED FOR CAUSING SO MUCH OF A LOSS, AND TREATING A POTENTIAL CUSTOMER WRONGLY.
