My favorite store to find my Cookware. Sur La Table, despite its French name, is actually a Washington based retailer selling high end cookware. It had 130 stores and due to the pandemic, it has closed quite a few stores recently including the one in Pasadena near where I live. Now I have to go the one in Glendale.This store offers cooking classes as well. Although I have not attended any of the cooking classes but my friends told they are great classes to learn basic and advanced cooking techniques.During the holiday, Sur La Table has great sales. It’s just delighted a lot of customers like myself. Today, I was able to get $15 off for a purchase of $75 and more and plus one item for 20% off. Last week I was able to purchase a 9 quart Instant pot duo for just under $90 vs the normal price of over $180.For last couple of weeks, I must have gotten over 20 some items here. I think I got all Christmas shopping done here for this year. Oh no! I just forgot, tomorrow, I still have to get a few more items fro here.
One of my favorite stores. I was looking for a griddle pan for my stove that wouldnt break the bank. They had some suggestions that sadly wouldnt work for me, yet they were very helpful and suggested alternate shops (not that they didnt value my business) that might work better for my situation.

I’ve been shopping at this location this past year and I am never disappointed... The staff is great and knowledgeable, and if they don’t know they will research the answer instead of giving you some false information... At times they can be busy, but this staff always makes sure that they acknowledge their customers and make you feel welcomed and appreciated...

Fantastic staff!!! They remember you and they really help you know what you are buying and lay all your options out . Whatever you choose they are happy for you and will answer all questions you have if they dont know the answer they let you know that too. No false information! Your Kitchen is an investment . I have my favorite associates there i see when making big purchases but you cant really go wrong with anyone there!

I would recommend this place if you like to cook or want buy a gift for someone who likes to cook or is decorating. Also, a good place to a wedding or house warming gift.
All Sur La Table stores are beautiful and I love Kitchen Gadgets so I love wandering around looking for things that I never knew I needed but are very useful. However, this particular store has the worst sales people I have ever encountered in any Sur La Table. As one reviewer here said If you like dealing with condescending old women than this is your Spot. I would add to that condescending old women that dont actually know anything about the merchandise in the store! I Have been visiting this store for about three years as that is how long I have lived in the area and every time I go into the store there are different employees, never seen the same one twice, but they all seem to have one thing in common, they are disinterested, condescending, sometimes rude and have no knowledge of the merchandise in the store. My husband and I laugh about how haughty and rude they are working as low paid sales women. It is even worse around the holidays when they hire the seasonal workers. I guess they dont give the employees any training about customer interaction or product training. As you enter the store initially one of the employees will float over to greet you and welcome you to the store and ask if you need any help, if you say yes as a matter of fact I do and begin to ask questions about a product, they know little to nothing about the items I am inquiring about. So I usually just take a photo of the item I am looking at and go home and read about it online and order it from another store, or better yet I go buy it at Williams Sonoma where they have friendly and Knowledgeable employees!

My favorite store to purchase my high-end cooking utensils, bakeware and knives. The professional selection is unparalleled to any other store in LA. I take my cooking very seriously and appreciate the quality and finer brands carried here. The prices are competitive with any other department store, etc.
