I love buying my silk pearl stringing cord here, because the prices are good, they have so many colors, and you can actually test it on your beads so you know you are getting the right size.

Huge assortment of beads, charms and jewelry making supplies. Lady was super nice and welcoming.Saw an older review comparing this store to Joann’s and other large retailers based on price. Just as no one can compete with Walmart on prices, this business shouldn’t receive a negative review because it can’t compete with prices of large retail chains. Those chains have stores across the country that can absorb smaller margins they make in more expensive locations. This store doesn’t have that luxury. Thousand Oaks is expensive because real estate is expensive. Not because people are trying to price gouge.What I love about Bead Source (compared to Joann’s, Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, etc.) is the much, MUCH larger variety, and ... you can buy as many or as little as you want of one specific item. You’re not forced to buy in bulk or buy a variety pack to get just one charm or a few beads.Friendly, personable service, huge assortment and love supporting local businesses! This will definitely be my new go-to for beads and craft making jewelry supplies.

Fantastic place! Great variety and wonderful service. Two girls in particular, Crista and Noelle were especially helpful and knowledgeable. They knew the products in the store well and Noelle is incredibly creative. I highly recommend this place for your specialty needs and advice.

Great bead resource for jewelry endeavors. Also if you need some help they walk you through your issue. And if something breaks staff will fix the issue for a reasonable price.

The lady at the counter was very nice. But, the prices were *way too high* as far as wholesale beads & findings go. Also, most of the items that were vaguely affordable were very poor quality... cheaply made, or just not that pleasing to the eye & even those items were overpriced. If you are made of money (like a lot of people from Thousand Oaks are) & you can afford to waste money on a hobby & dont know much about the product you are buying... I can see why this business is still standing. I mean *some* things were cheaper than Joanns or Michaels :/ But, from a business standpoint... um, no thank you :) I wouldnt pay for a fully formed necklace with clasp & closure... what some of those strands of beads that required labor to make something out of them cost. Great for people that have money to burn... entirely useless otherwise. Sorry but Im really dissapointed.
