I walked in on friday before halloween. Obviously this place was packed. This didnt stop the staff from smiling and getting through the line of customers quickly. Thourghtly impressed. Keep up the amazing work!

Slow and didn’t help at all

Halloween Eve madness... But they were surprisingly well organized with a number call tag costume retrieval system. Huge line that moved really quickly. Checkers who were very efficient and snappy... Not slovenly like those at so many businesses these days.

Good collection. Good store organization. A bit pricey. But quality is satisfactory.

Found exactly what we came for...quick service!

I went in on a Thursday afternoon just to pick up some party tableware. I stood in line behind two people who were there ordering balloons for more than ten minutes. The line behind me got longer and longer. What should have been a quick errand lasted so long that I left the store without any party supplies.

Party city is the place to be for all your party needs, kids always enjoy playing around in the store. Good friendly staff.

This place always has everything. The staff is friendly and helpful, I go here for every party I host for my sons sports teams. We pick out gift bags...and get decorations...even balloons. It is reasonable price wise too.My only complaint is that they do not have an answering machine or message on their main phone so you can check on store hours or ask a question about inventory in stock.

Nice stock, had everything I needed and more. I asked a lady employee if they rented helium tanks, she said no we sale them I asked how much to buy, she responded with i dont know awkward silence as she continues to ring us up... strange

They have all basic party supply for all generic occasions. If you need something specific keep looking. But basic balloon needs and paper goods. In all colours.

I can not say enough how extremely helpful Sandra has been while assisting me over the phone! I was helping my father gather party supplies, I had planned to use the website but for some reason it was not working properly. I called the store and Sandra offered to help me locate the items in her store and have them ready for my father to pick up! I’m out of state and her assistance not only helped me but my father as well and helped ensure my little brother had the Pokémon themed party he wanted! Thank you Sandra! You’re customer service is top knotch!

Overpriced. Some of their items arent just similar, they are the exact same as Dollar Trees merchandise. (& D.T.s a quarter of the cost to consumer.) Unless its a rare, extensive or specific to exact details/upscale theme, hit up the Dollar Tree located a quarter mile up the same street. In a budget minded world, youd be a fool to shop here for all your party needs.

So I place an online order at 8:45am today for ballons and they were supposed to be inflated. The website gave me a pickup time of 11:30am today. So I get to the Thousand Oaks location at 11:52am to pickup my order and after waiting for a few minutes I am told that they were out of helium and not able to fulfill my order. WTF? I thought this guy was joking with me. No joke. Why did the website allow me to place an order? The kid behind the register tells me that the manager tried to call me.What? The only call I received was at 11:35am which was 5 minutes after my order was scheduled to be picked up. So you didnt know that you were out of helium until 5 minutes after I was supposed to pickup my order? Ballons and party supplies are is what they sell. I find it very hard to believe that they just ran out of helium without any Waring. I asked to speak to this manager and the employee did not have a way to reach his immediate supervisor. Management just completely dropped the ball here and they will not take any responsibility for their mistake. If I had a business that sold water as my main product I would be well aware of the remaining amount of helium that I had left. This was just a complete disaster and the order was made for a work function so I had to explain to each of my bosses(I have 4 different bosses that I report to) why this corporate function was lacking in decorations. Calling me after my order is supposed to be ready just shows how management dropped the ball. I am a retail manager and if I screwed up like this I would be fired without a doubt. But I guess the standards are so low at party city that this is a regular occurrence.Also 7 it has been 7 days since this whole issue happened and they still have not refunded my credit card for the ballons that I never received. It amazes me that a somewhat legitimate business could just completely screw up this entire transaction and still not refund me for the products I never received.

Smaller location than oxnard store but much better customer service than Oxnard

There is a lot of party decor that is Halloween and costumes too even though they are busy and is closer to Halloween

They have basically everything you need for a typical celebration. That said, they were completely out of what I needed for my daughters birthday party.

Very disappointed in this store. They don’t carry wedding supplies at this time due to the Halloween inventory. Halloween is over two months away. I guess weddings don’t happen in the Fall or late summer.

Pretty decent selection (changes from holiday to holiday). Can be a little pricey.

An employee at this store, Jerry M, hacked one of my online accounts and ordered 60.00 worth of food to be delivered to this address. I caught it before the food could be delivered and the thief did not get away with it. I will call the manager in the morning and speak with him since the store is closed now.

Very bad experience, only 2 employees for a row of 10 people, they asked me to make line to ask for balloons, after that wait they ask me to do line again to pay, it is totally ridiculous the way they operate this store, the staff too slow and by assumptions that I left the store with nothing and I do NOT recommend this store
