This is my fifth Subaru and third dealership I have purchased from. Out of all of the dealerships DCH Is the best. Conner Chapman and Lucas Vega are amazing at what they do. There attention to detail is unparalleled compared to other sales and floor manager teams. The car was ordered and as I waited they reassured me constantly with updates and helped insure that additional parts I ordered would be available too. DCH Is a bit of a drive for me but we’ll worth it. I can’t imagine getting the same level of attention from any other dealer ship. Thanks again you guys.
We purchased a 2022 Subaru Outback Limited and it was a very pleasant experience. This is NOT the time to buy a vehicle, but unfortunately, we needed one and used car prices are insane. Going with a new vehicle made more sense to us. Kevin was our sales associate and he actually worked with us on the price quite a bit, again, considering the circumstances. Highly recommend.
This location was so friendly! They even had a Subaru pup walking around the dealership. Definitely had a family vibe to it. They were very helpful and informative. Especially Dena. She was so kind and friendly. She made the experience easy and never pressured us. I also LOVE my Subaru Forester!
I wasnt happy with the service experience under the previous ownership but am very pleased with DCH. I was able to get a appointment quickly after Marie gave me some things to try on my own and her direct line to set up an appointment if the problem needed further service. Art was very friendly and helpful with the service appointment and the cost was reasonable. The waiting area is much improved. It is clean and comfortable. I am very satisfied with the dealership.

Needed a new windshield on my car since it was hit with a rock on the freeway.. was told that they were going to order the windshield and that it would be there in a few days and made an appointment to get it replaced… called the day before my appointment to find out that no one ordered my windshield and that they won’t be getting anything in for another few weeks.. I bought my car from this Subaru in TO and it was such a great experience… now having to find out for myself that no one was going to call me to tell me that they couldn’t get my windshield in AT ALL… I have to scramble now to find somewhere else to fix it… thanks Subaru for letting another customer down👍
I bought my new 2021 Outback here from the Internet Sales Mngr, Matt Tannery. No pushy sales applied to me. Friendly professional purchase made on May 1st. Dealership was very clean and welcoming. Matt was knowledgeable, answering all my questions. Trade-in was very fair. I also enjoyed a discount with Costcos Auto Program. No haggling! I would send friends and family to this dealership for their vehicle purchase.

Just bought a used car from here and had a great experience with the sales people. I worked with Dena and she was calming, reassuring and, and all around great salesperson to work with. She was not pressuring at all for me to buy the car. They worked the price down on the car to a price that I was more comfortable with and allowed me to come back the next day to finish paying and pick up the car after finalizing the deal the night before. A great establishment to buy a car from.
Selection of cars was the only positive experience. After I purchased my car there was many issues stemming from service of this dealerships staff. Once the deal is done they will not be willing to help you. They forgot to give me my temp registration putting me at risk. They also forgot to provide me with a secondary key. When I showed up for my appointment for the key it took 3 hours. I’ve had the car for 2 weeks. I am not looking forward to resolving my next issue with this dealership. This has been a one of a kind experience.UPDATE: I get my secondary key and when I get home, I discover the key is broken and does not work. Not looking forward to working with them again.

I appreciate how I was kept apprised as I waited for my car to come in and how everything so smooth and easy.
We bought our 2021 crosstrek two weeks ago. As we we’re driving away noticed cluster panel scratched on the inside. I was told to come back go get is fixed. Well two weeks later I came in to fix the cluster panel. Which unfortunately regret. Causing a bigger problem now. Cause Subaru unprofessional technician caused deep scratches on all around plastic cover are. Very upset. They offer to install new parts. But that’s not the point. This is a brand new car! For Subaru to authorize unprofessional technicians.
Extensive inventory with fair prices. Danny (salesman) was very patient as we carefully searched for the right vehicle. This was my first purchase from a car dealership and it went smoothly.
As several others have mentioned on reviews- this dealership will be the biggest WASTE OF YOUR TIME. BEWARE. Complete bait and switch listing a used outback XT at ~38k. I told them the numbers I had already worked out for money down, monthly payment, and OTD price. Sales rep was new and could not talk the deal through and the manager replaced him to try seeming as if he was any more help. He first says all dealer add-ons (which by the way are all bogus scams) can be removed except the paint shield one. He kept coming back and forth and finally says he found out the car is underpriced since the dealership may have paid more for the car than what they have it listed at. Therefore those add ons are now going to the customer to cover the dealerships supposed negative equity in it. The manager even said this. I drove over an hour in LA traffic to get here and for them to try to lie to my face and try taking advantage of people who are baited in by their lower prices online. The add ons added more than $1200 and with the deal they tried giving me the outback would have came out to be $50k. For a used 2020? Not even my brand new 2021 Ram 1500 was the price. Look elsewhere. The couple in the office next to us also knew better and walked out when they were also given ridiculous terms and pricing.
I am giving them 1 star as 0 isnt an option. I had bought a Subaru there years ago when it was known as Ladin. Was looking for a used car for my daughter. They were advertising a Honda Civic for $17019. Called them about, said it was available and told me to come down to test drive it. Got there about 30 minutes later at 6. They couldnt find the car. After about 45 minutes they found it in a service bay but it was blocked by a truck. Car looked good so we told sales rep, Bobby, that we were interested. We spoke about buying it. He informed us that when we go to buy it they will usually have some add ons but we could refuse them. As instructed we came back in the morning, test drove the car and told him we wanted to buy it, and would write them a check. Was told that they add a paint protector that would cost $499, and a stolen vehicle recovery device that would be $799, and engine etching that was $499. Told him that we didnt want any of that. He went to talk to his sales manager and they came back and told us that we would also have to buy the $3500 extended warranty as the car was under priced. So the $17019 car was now close to $23,000. Said that they cant take any of that stuff off. Not sure if this is legal, but I do know it is total bait and switch. Why advertise the car at $17,019 if you have no intention of selling it for that. We wasted over 4 hours dealing with their BS. We drove down the street and bought a Jetta at Neftin VW. Now that is a great dealership. They were honest and actually sold it for less than they were asking. They had added stuff to it, but took it off as we didnt want it. If you are buying a car, skip the dishonest clowns at DCH, check out Neftin.
Friendly courteous service from the individual helping me and able to have my car back on time like promised. Would have been 5 stars if the bathroom paper dispenser was working more adequately and all other staff were more acknowledgeable and friendly too.

Bought a car here in September, still in November I have no financial information. The entire team has been rude and impatient through this experience. I was even hung up on by the manager of the finance department. Deplorable customer service. We will never go back to any DCH dealer or ever recommend them.
Lucas Vega and Joseph Reyes were a great sales team. Very courteous and pleasant to deal with. When we got to the finance guy, that was a whole other story.. He was rude and was abrupt when trying to ask questions about the warranty. If not for him, I would have given them 5 stars.
No issues. Even though they were short handed, they still got me in and out in under an hour and a half for an oil change and tire rotation.
Im very pleased with the service I received during my recent car service at DCH Subaru of Thousand Oaks. Everyone was friendly, efficient and communicated clearly. The waiting lounge is very clean and comfortable, although I wasnt there very long, as they were able to complete the job in a short amount of time. I definitely would recommend this dealership for Subaru car care.
As I drove in to the parking lot of Subaru Thousand Oaks, before I got out of my car, Matthew Tannery was there to greet me in a warm and welcoming way, giving me space to come toward him without swarming on me. I immediately was put at ease. Within two minutes I was looking at a car of interest, and the manager came to greet me as well, welcoming to Subaru, introducing himself and assuring me he would be available for any questions or concern. Matthew proceeded to move in a decisive, accurate and precision way, to gather the necessary insurance, ID and drivers license so I could test drive the Subaru Limited. When I returned, Matthew was attentive, supportive and offered me a cold drink of water and a healthy snack. I felt well attended to and primary in the exchange. The other sales people were pleasant and supportive as well. Matt seemed to operate as the lead in an well oiled machine. I have never had the experience of an attentive, kind and informed salesperson such as Matt. I wish there were more like him. We chatted for a few minutes, shared some laughs as he began the paperwork to find me the car I wanted. There were no stones unturned and he said I will do everything I can to get you the car you want because I want you to leave happy. The experience was completely satisfying from my arrival through my departure. I would like Lithia in Oregon to see this review and consider what a prize salesperson they have working in the Thousand Oaks office. I will send all of my friends and family to Matt because I know he can be trusted, he is honorable, fully transparent and puts his customers best interest at heart. What an enjoyable experience; I couldnt ask for more.
Shout out to Matt who truly cares and follows up on every promise! I am not an easy customer, I had a ton of questions and initially wanted to see every option and went back and forth quite a bit. Matt was incredibly patient and ultimately I love the Forester I chose.
Horrible Service, drove 30min here just to waste my time. Reggie helped my husband and I out this evening and seemed very bothered and rushed. My husband made an appointment for us to go look at a vehicle at 8pm, to start off the vehicle wasnt even on the lot and we had to wait 15min for them to bring the car. They knew we had an appointment to view that specific car so they should of brought it to the lot before we arrived. Once the car got there we started taking a look at it. We looked at the interior and it was full of dog hair! Reggie said they could detail the car for us, why wouldnt you make sure that is done before someone comes to look at it? The interior had scuff marks from what appears to be from the dog scratching the vehicle. We asked if he can do a better deal on the car since it wasnt in great condition and all he responded was nope nothing I can do. These salesmen definitely arent interested in selling any cars to anyone. As we walked in another customer was leaving very upset as well. Dont waste your time with this place. Go buy a car somewhere that they will cater to you because buying a car is a big expense and they should bend over backwards for their potential customers.
I took my Forester in for its first service and was very pleased. Every employee that I encountered was friendly, efficient, and informed. I had to wait for my vehicle and it was done in record time (including a car wash!) They certainly changed my opinion that good service is a dying art.
Dena did an amazing job on helping us with our new purchase. She also communicates very well and goes above and beyond. It was a great experience and happy with the outcome!! 10/10
Brought car in for scheduled maintenance. A problem with the wheel bolts was discovered, and was fixed N/C. Requested training on voice activated outgoing phone calls. Scott and Monique identified an issue with making calls and showed me a workaround. Very helpful.
I always get excited and nervous when buying a new car. Excited to have a new car, but nervous that Im going to get hustled by the dealership. But Im glad to report that my experience with Subaru of Thousand Oaks couldnt be any more different!I made a verbal agreement on price over the phone, and took a leap of faith by driving 2 hours to Thousand Oaks to buy a 2021 Subaru Onyx XT. When I arrived, the car was parked right outside and the salesman handed me the keys, all before I even did any paperwork! I sat down with the finance manager and scribbled my name a few times and I was off in about 15 minutes! It COULDNT be any more streamlined!
CHECK in just prior to the dealership closing. Everyone was so nice and friendly and didnt make me nervous being a female by myself. Love my crosstrek.
My positive experience is with service department. dropped off ourForester for usual oil change & tire rotation. Received a call from Luis lettingme know rear brake pads needed to be replaced. Forester has over 87k miles, so it was time. Price seemed a bit high but Luis offered coupon to help out with cost, couldnt be happier.
Staff was extremely helpful, did their best to take care of me and get me the best deal. Definitely will be a returning customer.
The employees were very friendly and attentive and there seems to be plenty of salespeople. My only complaint was that it took hours from the time I said yes I would take the care until I met with the finance person. There seemed to be only one person in finance. It would be good to have more people to help with the finance part of the deal. I also heard other customers complaining about this.
I feel more comfortable going to an authorized dealer for service, despite it costing way more than a non-dealer mechanic (and Im not talking Jiffy Lube). My experience this time was fine - the people are super nice but, it took almost 1/2 hour to get checked in and over 2 hours for just an oil change and tire rotation. Next time I will leave the car with them.

The service manager John is an exceptional employee and human. He took the time to explain the repairs for my 2015 Outback . My car was repaired correctly and although it took longer than expected, I was satisfied with my experience.
I had a wonderful experience shopping for my new car. Aside from the time it took, which is always an issue when buying cars, my experience with the team was great. Reggie was so helpful and actually pinpointed exactly what I wanted before I knew fully. He really listened to what I was saying and offered my time to drive models, get to know the cars and the features and then took the time to get to know me as a human, not just another sale! The finance team was wonderful and I really feel comfortable in my purchase!
Do not get work done on your car at this dealership. I took my fairly new car for its first oil change since buying the car (did not go to the dealership) and they just notified me the drain plug is completely rounded out. The only place that had done work on the car was this dealership. the car had less than 3K miles when I bought it. They missed a leak when I first bought the car and they did my inspection for my warranty.Do not seem to have very competent technicians. If I could give less than one star I would. Dealership has given me nothing but problems.Also cancelled my warranty a week after buying my car, told me it would take 2-3 months to get my refund and it has now been over 6 months and STILL have not gotten my money.

Luis was extremely helpful from the get go, 5 star service every step of the way. to say the least, very knowledgeable of the vehicles and found the perfect car for me based on my interests. I got a nail in my tire and so I came to the dealership to get a new tire put on my car as well as a tire rotation on my aftermarket wheels for my WRX. The service manager Al Alhadeff went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and in a timely manner. He even noticed my TPMS light was on and had a technician fix it on the spot, no questions asked. The service techs Ulises and Warren took their time to make sure no issues occurred (scratches on rims, correct tire pressure, test drive, etc.) If I could give more than a 5/5 rating I would. Highly recommend!

I had a very good experience having my Forester serviced at DCH. The staff was courteous and the service was done within the longer time stated to me at the beginning (and hour to an hour and a half.) However, I had one concern. The drivers seat was re-adjusted, and all adjustments were changed: height, distance from steering wheel, reclining angle, lumbar support, etc. It took me some time to re-set all adjustments and I was in a hurry to get to a lunch reservation. I can understand why a tall or short service technician might have to adjust the seat a little to drive the car, but not why all the adjustments had to be reset.
I have not purchased a new car in a very long time, but Dena Loncar made it a great experience. After almost purchasing at another location - where we were treated very disrespectfully, we traveled to the Thousand Oaks location - a long distance - to buy the car from Dena. She had done a great deal of research for us, pre-qualified me for the loan, and had everything ready to go when we went to complete the purchase paperwork, and a few days later when we went to pick up the car. I would go there again and certainly encourage anyone in the market to see Dena.

I got a great deal on my Outback and everyone I met was very nice. I wouldve given 5 stars, but I was promised two things that were not delivered. I didnt get a full tank of gas. I didnt notice this until the low fuel alert came on about halfway home (I live 65 miles away). And I was told the lifetime oil program that I added would include oil changes up to 4x per year. When I looked at the contract, the limit is 2x per year. Yes, I recommend this dealership, but make sure they deliver on their promises. I was so excited about my Outback that I didnt pay attention and I assumed what they said was true.
I began this journey with Subaru with just wanting to get a price on the Forrester Deluxe model due to the leather seats and sunroof. My son had owned a sports car previously from Subaru. So I drove to your dealership and as soon as I walked up to the door of the sales room Matt Tanner greated me and asked if he could assist me. He went to your other lot and brought back a blue car and it was just the wrong shade of blue. But I chose the Metal Gray and I love the car. Your closer, Sam was great and did not pressure any sales of the extras. But both are very polite and Id recommend them and their attitudes to anyone that wants to change cars. The Finance person, I didnt get his name was also very good and excellent at his job. So I recommend DCH Subaru of TO to anyone that asks. So thank you for having a professional, knowledgeable staff that go the extra mile. I love my purchase is all I can really say.

I needed an oil change and a recall for the Infotainment system. All in all, the scheduling was pretty smooth. All the staff I interacted with were courteous and professional. As far as I can tell, the service was done as expected.My only nits are 1) better communication to let me know that the car was ready. 2) The cars service minder is not set/reset to remind me of the next service.

From 1st contact with Sales Rep Kevin-things went great! He followed thru on getting back to me when the Subaru I was interested in arrived. A refreshing concept! On the lot he was very layed back- no over the top pushy sales, like I experienced at other dealers. He was A+ all the way around and did a fantastic thorough job explaining ALL the many features on my new Outback. Kevin went the absolute extra mile and am SUPER happy with my brand new vehicle-LOVE IT.UPDATE: Reduced rating due to very poor follow up. Was promised a gas card. Took 3 emails to Erica, was told it was mailed yet never was even 2 months later. Had to call Corporate to get any action! I am still waiting for a call back from the Manager as to why I was lied to about the gas card being mailed when it was NOT. When I asked service Dept how to adjust something on my brand new Outback I was told look it up in the manual SERIOUSLY?!
I had my 30,000 mile service done at DCH and was very pleased with the service and timelines. They even offer a free loaner if the service takes over an hour or so. I thought that was classy and I really appreciated it. Bryce, the Service Manager, is very responsive and personally help me resolve a recall issue with my air-conditioning condenser.
Everyone I dealt with was polite courteous and professional. I was kept informed during my wait. I noticed other customers were also updated on the progress of their vehicle.
The service department did a great job, and I particularly appreciated Bryces accommodations and assistance. But generally speaking, everyone in this department is friendly and helpful. Very happy so far with my DCH Subaru of TO purchase.
Probably had the worst experience in my whole life . I was told the car was ready to test drive so I drove hour and half and later found the car battery was dead . Was a total waste of my time . I was told the car will be ready to buy in 3 days but the mangers were lying the whole time . I was given multiple different dates by the salesman and the Manger but it was all bs at the end . Highly not recommended. . 👎👎👎👎

My sales consultant Dina was so great, very easy-going and personable, Ed the Floor Manager put together a great deal, and Tim in financing had me in and out in no time. They gave me a fair offer for my trade-in, threw in some extras, and if I stated I wasnt interested in an add-on option that was that ... no extra pressure applied.Buying a new car gives me agita, but instead of downing some maalox after this experience I was drinking a glass of bubbly to celebrate my snazzy new Outback. Im starting to think theres something real behind the DCH brand, cause they def delivered me some customer happiness.

Even people working there that I wasnt dealing with said hi and were very friendly. The salespersom Matt worked had to find exactly what I wanted and his communication was outstanding. The sales manager Ed made the negotiating process not feel like a negotiating process and I felt like I got a great deal. The final paperwork person Mark was fast but thorough and fun to talk to.Many dealerships I go to feel like a bunch of people working together but DCH Subaru of Thousand Oaks seem like friends with each other.When my lease is up, I have no doubt Ill be back

Safe to say that agents do not get commission (or much anyway) on used car sales, so I found I had the OPPOSITE of the expected car sales experience. I had to push the agent sell me a car. There was no negotiation. All that said, the agents were perfectly friendly and I am happy with my car. The price was good.

The whole DCH Subaru staff were absolutely amazing. We went in to look at multiple used vehicles. Not only did they take the time to let us test drive each and every one of them, but they crunched all the numbers so we could make the best decision possible. Ultimately, they sold us on a new car for the same monthly payments and we could not be happier. Now all but 10 of the miles are our own and we know we made the best possible decision based off of their hard work. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
