Great experience with this dealer!Great people in general, but Paul from sales and Jason from Service who helped me out are the best.Paul sold me a t120 bonneville to me with the best deal I could get in the states, he even took great care of my bike during my first service as well as Jason.They even discounted a great amount on a helmet too to match the price from other place.The prices on service is very similar or compatible with other dealers but considering their nice and kind services, I would choose here rather than a closer dealership from my place in LA.They really care about customer service and satisfaction. I will definitely go back for the future services!

Long Winded, No Rant Review of Thousand Oaks Powersports (TOPS)Backstory, I had been to (wont mention names) a few other local dealers in search of a good new/used bike. Bad Experience at these other places.I FINALLY took the advice of my buddy and my MSF instructors to check out TOPS website, I noted their large inventory with a wide range of bikes both new and used. Low and behold, a nice 2008 Vulcan turns up on their lot and Christian was the first to reply to my inquiry. Despite no promise of a sale, he handled me and all of my questions promptly and I said I would come in and check it out after my work trip. Not to my surprise, that Vulcan was sold by the weekend and I was back to square one.By now I had gone through their catalogue a few times, and was starting to warm up to the idea of coming out of the gate with a new bike, so when I saw a heavily discounted leftover 2020 Bonnevile I went in the next day they opened, no appointment, no phone call. My buddy and I were immediately greeted and walked through their very clean and well stocked show room to their Triumph lineup. Christian let me see the bikes, answered my questions, got me OTD prices.. all of it.After sleeping it off, and a trip to the bank, I called him up and said I would be there in the morning. He processed all of my paperwork the day before so I could just walk in, sign, pay, leave.. and leave I did, with a brand new Bonnie that he helped me load into the back of a truck and tie down after introducing me to the parts and service department. Worth noting, is the sizeable amount of space available to load/unload vehicles and trailers.Their parts/gear department was well stocked and organized and clean. They can even order just about anything for you as well.I will definitely update this review when I take in the bike for its break-in service for a review on the service center, conveniently located right out back.Bottom Line, I got a good deal and warranty on my purchase and the process was stress free and easy. THE STAFF made this worthy of a 5 star review.Ride Safe

These guys did electrical work on My 2017 Yamaha FZ07 with no hassle and even managed to install a windscreen that didnt fit originally all while still making it look good. The work that is done here is legit, and the crew is solid. I highly recommend.

Tops #1 open 7 days a week awesome. Always have a great selection of motorcycles, helmets and gear. The staff in the Parts, and service department are great. Rex and the boys in sales always give you their undivided attention and willing to make it happen and get you on the bike you want. Over all Tops always has sales, and discounts which end up saving you a lot of money.

My purchase experience at Thousand Oaks Powersports was very stress free. They arrange transport of the bike in a timely manner. They have been very responsive to inquiries and requests. I recommend them to anyone shopping for a motorcycle.

Just bought a Triumph Bobber Black from Matt B.Because I am in healthcare, which is essentially a customer service industry, I am the first to admit that I am a royal pain when it comes to demanding great customer service.Matt has gone above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service...he has even returned my texts and emails on his days off.He has been candid and honest with his professional opinions regarding what I really need, not just for the bike but for all the accessories from clothing to airbag vests.The dealership is an hour away from my home and there are quite a few shops there are a lot closer but it has been worth it to travel the two hours round-trip for his level of customer service.I’ve also received excellent customer service from their parts department as well.Cheers and safe riding out there!DocMikeChiro

Bad sales man! Bad finance department! They straight lied on our contract and I think the finance person did it on purpose. They charged us way more than how much the dirt bike for our son was worth. They told us they will give us the extended warranty for free but they didnt! They kept it on the contract and charged us for things we never asked. Please make sure to read your contract carefully or you will get robbed by these clowns. I felt like we were taken advantage of since we were trying to get a dirt bike for our son as his Christmas gift. All these guys care about is that commission money! They will force you to buy this buy that. Very pushy on getting any sale. Please be careful when coming here. Bad karma is coming to this place really soon!!!

Just had a great experience at the service department! After I DIY changed the rear tire my rear brakes just didnt seem to be grabbing like they used to on the Dorsoduro 900, while at the same time they were hugging the rotor enough to rainbow it on a 20 mile ride. Paul hooked me up with a service appointment for the weekend, and Mason had the brakes diagnosed and fixed within the hour. I live 3 hours away and had loaded the bike in my truck to bring it down, and I even had a nice offer from the staff to assist with the reload to haul it home. Ill definitely be back for any unplanned or planned maintenance or service.

What makes this shop great is the knowledgeable hands on staff. They have a great selection in store and anything they dont have on hand they can usually order it for ya. I love just looking at all the cool bikes in the showroom. Would definitely recommend!

I found a bike they had available on Cycle Trader, and the price was right. I called them immediately, and Rex who was very knowledgeable helped me with securing the bike with a deposit. I am an out of town buyer, so he held it for me and answered all my questions until I was able to make it to the dealer a few days later. When I arrived, everyone was very friendly and treated me not just like a customer, but a fellow rider. Having bought many new bikes at different dealerships, this was the most refreshing part! I got to meet the sales manager -- George, who was very accommodating with me. You can tell he valued my business, and understood I drove a longs ways to get this bike! Mary in finance got my paperwork done quickly! She did not push any up-sells, and was just a genuinely great person to work with. On top off all the great service, Becca in parts was equally amazing and friendly. During my visit, I got a chance to look at the rest of the inventory, and their prices were pretty good--much better than SF Bay Area dealers. I will be back to buy another bike. Great shop!

I have purchased one street bike and one dirt bike from Thousand Oaks Powersports. I have had two very good purchasing experiences dealing with the staff there. If you are serious about buying a bike, this is a great place to do it. My job requires I do tons of research, so I am very good at it. I drove from the Central Valley to Thousand Oaks to purchase my 390 Duke & 125SX. Very happy with these machines.

5 stars for the service department. Even though they dont work on bikes older than 2000, they helped me figure out what was wrong with my 95 yz125. They also did an awesome job installing a camera and crash bars on my multistrada. Will keep taking my bikes here for service. Only ding is their sales department, although they are straight up with you they wont give you the best deal on a new bike. Buddy of mine got a kawi vulcan for 2k under what this places final otd offer was.

Ive visited the service department 3 times in the past month. 2 of those 3 times there was an issue. Next time I need work done I will be taking my business else where

They’ve serviced my Triumphs and big KTM Adventure bikes. No issues. Good work. Price isn’t cheap, and the fact they’re not open on Sundays (like a lot of moto service departments) just makes no sense.

I rode my T120 Black to this place today for a 500-mile service. My first time visiting here and I just felt the need to post a review for the shop’s excellent customer service. Hugo (not sure if spelled correctly) is the shop’s manager is easy to talk to, trustworthy, and hands-on type of manager. I came in an hour and half early, but Hugo brought my bike into the shop and got it started right away. I walked around the store while I waited for my bike. All of their employees there are attentive and friendly. It was a great visit overall. My bike felt great on the way home. I will definitely go back there again for service. Thank you Hugo!

Charging full price for mopeds that had obviously been dropped or scraped, as they had deep scratches all over them. Tons of customers and staff not wearing masks, and just in general poorly kept store. Would never recommend this place, tons of better stores out there that take care of their products, don’t try to rip you off, and maintain safety protocol.

I’ve been going here for parts and service to my bikes. Never been let down by the Service Dept. I’ve had the wrong part order from parts but it was quickly remedied and they gave me a discount for the inconvenience. I’ve only had this happen once out of many parts orders.I’ve had friends buy from then because they’ll usually match any deal you can find.

Enjoyed the sales staff very friendly. I did have an issue with the used motorcycle I came to look at. I called the dealership prior to coming down and told them what bike I was interested in purchasing. When I arrived the bike was a mess, so dirty you could not even throw a leg over it. That was disappointing, needless to say I did not purchase the bike. I always try to buy my bikes locally in Ventura County to support local businesses. They missed out I purchased a new motorcycle from another dealership the next day.

My son picked up his second new bike and some great new gear just days ago. Matt doesnt try and make a sale. Matt is a dedicated rider who takes the time to make sure the bike and rider are a perfect fit. There were no upsales or pressure to go big or go home which happens often when shopping for big ticket items. Dillon (and Simon?) in the accessories dept were great as well. Again, no pressure, but they were super friendly and knowledgeable and you could tell they love what they do as well. Thank you to the T.O. Powersports team!

My motorcycle has been in their service department since mid November... I called at least 5 times since leaving my motorcycle, twice within the last month to see if its ready. These last two times the first person to answer the phone tells me its ready, but then they pass the phone to someone else who says its not. I dont know if they get some type of money for the time its been there, but honestly at this point it seems like they want to keep my bike there as long as possible. This whole process has been a b word. Not to mention theyre 40 minutes away from home.

I repeatedly asked sales guy how many credit checks you are going to do on my account. he said one and after couple of days I see two credit checks. I have good credit history and got motor cycle for 0% interest but when we questioned them, they say - this is how it works. you guys are just **** .Try to be transparent. I have complete chat history with your sales guy. if you want to deny words, I will post the chat.

I went in to purchase a Z900. I had been to a few other shops with big promises. The salesman here, Vic, was the best ever. Actually the whole experience was great! Best help I received in all of the other shops I visited. I also got the best price and was able to ride home as one happy guy. Not really a person that post but after a nugde from Google, here goes.. Havent taken my bike there in 3 or 4 years... I refuse to after my last experience. Had an engine taken out and a used one installed... long story short, I had to open it back up and review their work because it felt weird (approx 1100 rpm it would lose oil pressure), I heard a bunch of rattling and turn signals would not work properly (only left blinkers worked). When I looked inside, there were bolts/screws missing or half way inserted when I got it back and lighting harness was wired weird (I had to order oem harness and install myself). On top of that, this sketchy kid who was working there with the same kawi asked me if I wanted to sell him parts of my bike (he didnt mean the old motor) before they even finished working on it which gave me an uneasy feeling. There were a few other things too, but I think I made my point. On the flip side, there was this one amazing mechanic there but I dont think he was the main person to work on my bike... wish I could remember his name.. he seemed like he really knew his job. As Im aircraft mechanic by trade, game recognize game and he was impressive but I digress. Unfortunately after that experience I never felt comfortable to return so I travel out of area for maintenance needs. Things could have changed since Ive been there but Im not taking that chance with my life. But thats just my experience!

Rented a Triumph T120 from Thousands Oaks Power Sports. They gave me Helmet & Gloves $25.00 & $5.00 respectively. Mark the Manager took care of the whole process even though I was a little confused handling the App.Smooth process by Mark. The employees there were really helpful setting me up.I had a wonderful 230 mile ride. Bike ran smooth as this was my first time riding a Triumph, nice machine and everything worked great and had only 2500 miles on it.I will be renting a Motorcycle again from here, I can honestly recommend this place to rent a Motorcycle.Price was reasonable too. The salesmen, andrew and justin were superb, easy to communicate with and extremely helpful and honest. Mary in finance was also good at her job, made everything easy and overall very easy to work with. They modified my bike before i picked up, so when i arrived everything was absolutely perfect.
