A wonderful, family-run, independent repair shop for Volvo and Saab. Very knowledgeable, and honest. We have used there services for almost 25 years. And always follow their recommendations. Our current Volvo is 15 years and it has been meticulously maintained by Raymond the entire time.

We will drive and restore our Saab’s forever…but this crew is absolutely critical and the best…would even consider owning a Subaru or Volvo simply because of the T.Scandia crew. I bring them our “Saabs” all the way from Hood River when they need some sort of service, and they make dropping off and after hour pick ups work. Simply the best.

These guys have been in business forever in Tigard. Good, solid, honest work and fair prices for repair/maintenance work on Subarus, Saabs, Volvos and even the rare Saabarus (9-2x models). They tell it like it is and have many customers for life. They have a picture at the front desk with them sitting on the hood of a then new Volvo 122 as very little kids...

Repairs are accurate and complete. Staff takes the time to fully explain and answer questions about needed repairs. They noticed that tags had expired, new ones were in glove box, we forgot to put them on the palates. When we picked up the car, the staff had put the tags on for us. They take care and watch out for the welfare of their customers.

I have been here twice and both times was extremely pleased with the service. The staff and the mechanic really took the time to listen to me and my concerns, and explained things fully in regards to services and repairs. One time, they even got me in same-day on my lunch break. It was amazing! I will definitely be going here again, and definitely recommend this shop!

I don’t even know where to begin! I was able to bring my ‘96 850 wagon in on short notice for a diagnostic and it was ready in one day! I’d called a few other shops and was really unimpressed with how I was treated over the phone (one even told me what was wrong without even looking at the car, how much it would cost, and that it didn’t affect drivability… well that was definitely not the issue.) I will definitely be coming back for everything my little old wagon needs!

In the past month, T Scandia has replaced the drive belts in one trip and the head gasket/timingbelt/water pump on my 2007 Subaru Outback. The services were top notch and completed a very timely manner, I was super satisfied both times. I was dreading the common Subaru 120k mile services but I saved over $1250 dollars from the dealer quote, and I will for sure be returning to T Scandia to help keep my old workhorse running as long as possible!!

I have used T Scandia before when I owned a Saab. This time my engine light was on and we couldn’t find the problem. The mechanic was very thorough and kept looking until he found the problem. Unfortunately, it was so significant that we decided it was not worth repairing.

The folks at T Scandia are great! I was in line at DEQ when my check engine light came on. I went to directly T Scandia without an appointment and they fit me in for a quick check. Raymond reset the indicator light and explained some of the most likely possibilities. I made an appointment for the next week for the repair, after which Raymond explained the cause and repaired it. No hassles! Ill be continuing my Volvo maintenance and repairs with T Scandia.

I have been taking my SAABs to T Scandia for nearly 30 years, starting with my 1985 900 and since 2001 my 9-3. They have always provided great care, keeping track of what they notice at each visit that should be seen to soon or eventually. They always try to control the cost of repairs without compromising quality. I feel like I can always trust them to do the right thing for my SAAB and for me. Last week Ben cleaned out all the drains to fix a problem with water getting into the car, and changed the cabin air filter -- so far so good.

I have a 2004 Saab 9-5 Aero that they take incredible care of. Had since new and they really understand the idiosyncrasies of this car. They are cost effective, on time and most importantly, repairs get done right. Very professional!

This is the second time I took my Subaru into Scandia Motors. The first time was for a door that wouldnt lock and they fixed it very quickly. The second time I brought my car in was for regular maintenance - again the service and communication was wonderful. They only fixed what was needed and communicated why they didnt need to do the rest of the check list. It is so nice to find a place that communicates and fixes what is needed. I am happy to say I have found my new auto service shop. I feel comfortable that what they tell me is the truth and another big plus is they listened to me. Glad I found them!!

I was very impressed with T Scandia Motors for really being decent and honest about the work needing to be done on our older Volvo. They even did the urgent safety repairs immediately so that my teenage daughter could be safe on the road. William was very understanding and knowledgeable and Raymond who did the work on our beloved car is a Volvo Master or Volvo Whisperer who knows how to make these engines purr!

William and everyone else at Scandia was very nice and friendly to us with our Subaru Outback. We took it in for a 60,000 mile maintenance. Dropping off and picking up after hours was very convenient. They did a good job with the maintenance and helped diagnose a stutter/stall issue with the torque converter. With that info, we were able to confirm an extended warranty offer Subaru has made with that particular issue. They even called us a few days after to see how things were and to follow up. I love this place. They helped fix my 2006 Saab so that I could continue to drive it within a short amount of time. Raymond who works on the Volvo portion of T Scandia is the most meticulous and honest mechanic I’ve ever had. I have been taking my Volvos there since 1995. I just recently sold my Volvo because I needed something that would tow a trailer. The worst part of sale was the loss of an Awesome mechanic.
