After 2 years of throwing bike in the back trunk I finally got the bike rack from Rack Attack in Tigard. I couldnt do it without the help Zach (Zack ?). The staff here is awesome! Really had a great experience working with them. They did have some trouble getting my box in, in a timely manner because it was on a backorder. But I completely understand that it was out of their hands and everyone I talked to on the phone always did their best to give me updates. I had the good fortune to be assisted this time by the store manager, Ben, and he was knowledgeable, helpful and honored my time by making my rack adjustments quickly and for far less than I had hoped for. In addition he had in-stock the rollers we had been searching for, for over a year.I would highly recommend this store for anyone who is looking to outfit their vehicle!

Super helpful and friendly. Got there an hour before closing and was out in about 30 minutes (did not feel rushed at all). He explained the difference in price and what I was paying for with those different prices. I then drove about 140 miles after the install. I spent a little more than I planned but Im very satisfied that I did.

I had the worst customer service experience at the Tigard Rack Attack this past weekend and would not recommend this location to anyone. On Thursday, I went into the store to buy two parts I had been told via email were in stock. When I got in, only one still was but they had another at the Portland location which was great. The person who helped me that day said I could pay for both and the one from the Portland location would arrive later that day or the next day (Friday) and that I would get a call when it was in.I still hadnt heard anything by Saturday morning so I left a voicemail for them. I didnt hear back so called and the person who answered was extremely unhelpful and rude. I asked if my order had come in and he said no. I asked if it would be in this weekend and he said he doubted it, without any effort to help track it down. I asked if it was still at the Portland store and I said I would just drive down and get it since I needed the part by Monday. He said he didnt know. Again, no effort to track it down or apologize for the part not coming within the promised timeframe. I asked if he could call the Portland store to check and he seemed very annoyed.At this point, he put me on hold and I was on hold for over 20 minutes and he never came back onto the phone. I figured I was forgotten about and tried calling back many times and no one picked up. They have my phone number since I had to give that to them when I purchased the items and had left it in a voicemail earlier that day, however they never called back at any point.We ended calling the Portland location where the item was coming from and they were very helpful. They said they would check and call us back, which they promptly did and stated the item actually was at the Tigard location and they should be giving us a call. Unsurprisingly, the Tigard store never called so we went down there. The people there were again very rude and unhelpful. They seemed very put off and went in the back for 10-15 minutes, in an effort to leave me waiting, when it only should have taken a minute to grab the item. It seemed like a bit of a power move to try to get a woman to stand in your store for way too long just because the customer has asked you to get something from the back that has already been paid for. It seemed they didnt even want to hand over the prepaid item at first, at which point I would have had to file a credit card dispute.The run around plus so much time and frustration wasted on hold and calling repeatedly, and the rude, unhelpful and dismissive behavior from these employees was completely unacceptable. One employee (who was different than the guys I had originally dealt with) ran out after the item was picked up and stood outside our car, trying to apologize. It was clear he realized how awful we had been treated that day however, I wont be returning as a customer to this store and will find other ones in the area so I can avoid these interactions in the future. I wouldnt recommend anyone shop here if they want to be able to take home the items they paid for without spending hours trying to track it down while simultaneously dealing with employees who couldnt care less if you get your paid for item, dont answer the phone, and make you feel like an inconvenience.

Alex was great help recommending me the parts I need to setup my 2017 Civic hatchback with a roof bars, cargo box and bike rack, and totally saved my move out of the state! He even took the time to double check on me while I installed the roof rack myself, and even installing the bike rack out in the rain a few days later. Definitely recommend Rack Attack for the excellent service!

I needed a solution to carry multiple full suspension mountain bikes on our Land Cruiser while towing a boat (we know how to party!). The guys at Rack Attack provided several solutions, ultimately I decided on the Thule Upride. The store was busy, but the guys working that day took the time to ensure my questions were answered and that I was satisfied with the solution. Have had three different purchases at rack attack and, while it is hard to get through on the phone frequently, every time they have come through with service above and beyond. Had a hitch install that went awry (partly because of my vehicle) but they made everything right. Good company culture.

I walked in and was greeted and asked, what I needed? Sales person walked to counter, got the keys confirmed the key worked in my Skybox. Gave me a recommendation for mounting the box on my Subaru. Returned indoors, made the transaction and was out the door! WOW! Thats service!

Rarely in life have I encountered a business that is a true 5 🌟, and Rack Attack TIGARD is just that unicorn! They do what they say, and say what they do. Fantastic customer service, quick, efficient and friendly staff. Even if you dont know what you need for your hauling or towing needs, they do! Second time dealing with this shop, almost a year between purchases, and its still the fantastic experience I had from the first time. Cannot recommend them highly enough beyond being a very satisfied repeat customer. Should I require additional services, Ill most certainly be back. 😊

I definitely recommend calling or visiting this store. I called during my product research phase, and received great advice on a roof box. In contrast to a local competitor, who doesnt answer the phone and instead requires the customer to send an online inquiry. But then they dont respond. The people that I talked to at Rack Attack Tigard are interested in customer needs and are responsive.When I was ready to purchase, I had a lot more questions and wanted to see the various design details in person. Obviously, this cant be done online so it was helpful to visit the store. Zack helped me, and he was very patient with my numerous questions. We discussed the pluses and minuses of each make/model that I was interested in. I really appreciated his experience and opinions of the various makes. He was an invaluable resource, which allowed me to make the best decision for my needs.Big thumbs up for Zack!

Rack attack tigard is a shop the provides all kinds of accessories for your roof rack/hitch carriers. This was my first experience with rack attack tigard and to say the least, il be going back to consult and get the rest of my setup complete.I purchased a rhino rack from a friend, it was missing the mounting hardware so i called the store where zack recommended i come to the store with the rack so he can take a look. When i got to the store I was greeted immediately(even though the store was busy). Zack had come out and came out with me to the car to check my rack and gave me a bunch of good knowledge. He was able to round up all the parts i needed for rhis rack setup (the store had everything on hand), and even gave me info on how to install the rack myself. Any other shop could have got me to pay them to install but here i was given the info to do it myself with the right parts.I always was schooled on how to find all the other accessories rhino rack makes for my particular platform. Because of the available parts, good service and product knowledge is will continue to do any business i can with rack attack tigard

Very knowledgeable and patient staff who helped me through my first hitch and bike rack decision. The installation was flawless and the customer communication is top notch. I accidentally put in my order in their Golden, CO, store (also super nice staff there) so the Tigards store staff worked with the staff in CO proactively to make sure that 1) my sales tax was refunded and 2) the parts arrive at the Tigard store. Everything took less time than expected. Dont have a bad word to say about my excellent experience.

All of the guys working at this shop were fantastic! All friendly and very knowledgeable. They helped select the most cost-effective options for my needs. Additionally, there was a special fit issue with my new truck, and they spent time to figure out a clever work-around, including ordering custom brackets to allow installation of the tonneau cover. Quick turn around, professional installation, super nice people to work with. Don’t shop anywhere else!

I would give 10 stars if I could!! The customer service these guys provided went WAY above and beyond. My parents are visiting; on their drive up, 2 pieces of their bike rack broke. Their rack mounts on the spare tire of an RV, so there arent a lot of options. We wouldnt be able to receive replacement parts timely, as the company that makes their rack is currently struggling due to Covid. Two employees of Rack Attack spent an hour out in the rain and wind, trying to figure out options. Ultimately they were able to rig something up, using a spare part from another brand rack. They were friendly, professional, courteous, and empathetic to my parents situation. They figured out a way to safely get the bikes back to Arizona, and didnt charge a dime. I will absolutely use these guys for any rack needs in the future!!

I contacted Tigard Rack Attack (RA) after having a Subaru hitch installed on a 2019 Outback. This hitch is a problem because the distance from the center of the pin hole to the edge of the receiver is too short to work with most hitch-mounted bike racks. Unfortunately, I didnt know this until after I had the hitch installed. The folks at RA were familiar with this problem and identified a couple of racks that will work with this hitch. I purchased the Kuat Sherpa rack and it fits just fine. I had searched all over the Internet and was thinking I would have to have the hitch removed until I contacted RA. Their expertise saved me from disaster!

Was not disappointed as the different models were on display and sales staff were available to respond to questions. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the Thule EasyFold XT 2 I decided upon was in stock and available. I’m a loyal customer at another local retailer that sells racks among many other types of outdoor gear, but I knew they would not have the selection available to help make a good choice. Rack Attack carries the major brands of racks and accessories to haul your sports gear, such as bikes, skis or kayaks, on your car. Ive always gotten excellent customer service from them and Im happy to have a store in Tigard near my home. I happened to stop by the store for their grand opening and was able to interact and celebrate with the store crew. Happily, I was notified a few days later that I won the drawing and subsequently was awarded a Yakima rooftop storage case. I was stoked about that and have returned several times when I need any rack-related items
