The staff there were extremely friendly and very informative. The owner talked with me well past closing time chatting with me, showing me around and filling me with lots of very helpful information and knowledge. You can tell they love what they do and they treat their customers like family. We have a true gem of a store in this town for any musician just starting out or already experienced. A great selection of stringed instruments too.
Very nice people. Very good with what they do.
Always wonderful to visit a fantastic local manufacturer! Great products at great prices!
I love the hybrid instruments they make. It provides an interesting timbre to whatever sound youre used to hearing. Plug their mini bass in an amp and it sounds like an upright. Very innovative products.
Stopped in to Gold Tone today to see if they had a bridge shim for my Ovation. Not only did they have the shim I needed, they installed it for me while I was noddling around some of the awesome Rameriz classicals in the showroom. Excellent customer service and really cool stringed instruments. Totally AWESOME!!!!
Just dropped off an electric guitar. The men I spoke with were very nice. Took the guitar and said they would take a look and get back with me...more of this review to come soon.
Gold Tone Music group is a wonderful family and friendly group of skilled workers that will help you with whatever instrument you want to find. 😜👍
Went in with my guitar that I thought was broken . They checked it on site and advise me to check the cable to the amp . Would use again
This place was so amazing!! I am a young, but advanced player, and the workers let me try dozens of guitars without a problem... it was an amazing experience!!! They had a large selection, and lots of very helpful people, and people that were very willing to try to get me the perfect guitar!! They have lots of other instruments, and I would absolutely advise ANYONE to make the drive here to purchase or fix and instrument!!
Awesome all around!! I purchased a Paul Beard signature series resonator bass, mainly for unplugged jamming, and was blown away by the versatility of the single humbucker. I can’t say enough about the quality of this instrument. I also love the case that came with it. Every bass player needs one of these in there arsenal. David helped with the transaction and gave awesome customer service. Very quick response, friendly and helpful. Couldn’t be more pleased!
Great company. With great service.Walked in with a twenty year old bango.Walked out an hour later with it all like new.Sounds wonderful. They sell quality instruments at very good prices.
Needed a zero glide for my Martin guitar. When I called I expected them to ask Which one? 1 3/4 or 1 11/16? Martin only makes two sizes. But they hemmed and hawed...Finally I drove to the place in Titusville. And they hemmed and hawed and couldnt find one that matches my guitar.Well, okay... I build mandolins and Im not a stranger to nut files and sanding blocks. But when the young luthier wanted me to just take a blank and cut it from scratch I finally said hold it.I took one that was close, modified it, installed it and have to say if you are not highly experienced doing guitar set up, dont try it. You need all the tools youd need if you were making a new nut from a piece of seasoned bone, as well as fret nippers, fret files, and sanding and polishing supplies. That said, after installing it, my guitar sounded awful: dead, boring, lifeless. My wife was appalled. She wanted me to put the old nut back on. But the action was slightly better, I was tired, and I decided to do it the next day. What a difference a night made! Dont know why, strings settling in (whatever that means...) Who knows... But when I picked it up the next morning it was amazing. Balanced, smooth, solid intonation, loud, my wife thought I was playing my OM-42 instead of my 000-15.It seems to improve each day a bit. Now Im bummed, going to have to go back to Titusville and do it all over again with my D-42.
The one located near me is one of the hardest places for person in a wheelchair to get in and shop.
A great factory run by a family dedicated to the business of making world class instruments. Thanks Wayne and Robyn!
As s jazz drumset player I have been using the Earthtone calf heads on my jazz drum set. I am very satisfied with this product. The drum sound is incredibly warm and natural. The service I have received from the company has been top notch. I have given this company and this product two thumbs up on FaceBook drum sites I belong to.
They fixed the strings and did some adjustments on my favorite guitar. They did a good job
