Charon and Tom are wonderful people, so full of knowledge, just bubbling with enthusiasm for the saddle making kraft.

Caldwell saddles are the best quality hand crafted saddles I’ve ever seen/used. They far exceeded my expectations and I am a life long customer/user. Hats off to your company!

Emailed and asked if they sell their trees and was replied with, “oh, hell no!”. I’m unsure if that’s something they do in Idaho but to say the least I think that was probably one of the worse ways to reply to a possible customer :)

I had heard they do good work but when I took my saddle to see if they could do some minor repair I was told it wasnt broken (thank heavens) that that is normal movement to the seat. Then lady threw a tantrum saying that the saddle was under oiled so then it was obviously unsafe to ride in. This was after saying that the saddle did not need repair. She said they could completely overhaul the saddle but it wouldnt be worth the money so they wont do it. It was surprising to me that she would decide for me what I was willing to spend my money on. I dont recommend wasting your time here. Its a disorganized dump inside, Im sure its because she spends all her time oiling her saddles instead of tidying up.
