Amazing place. very helpful. Needed a 100 year old photo copied and reproduced. Mat did an incredible job at a great price. He took care by removing the 125 year old photo that measured 8 x 36 from its frame and put it back together like it was never taken apart. I also had 2 rolls of 35mm film from 10 years ago that I needed developed, which he did on site in less than an hour. I highly recommend them to anyone needing help. Once talking with them I also discovered that the store is owned and operated by a new owner.

Great local camera shop. Its tough for mom and pop businesses to compete with big box and online retailers, but Rand never disappoints. The staff is very knowledgeable and are always happy to answer questions.

What can I say about Rand’s camera?A lot and most of it is not good!When I was 16 they had a store at Monmouth Mall in Eatontown.I slaved all summer at Camp Arrowhead to save a few hundred dollars and I went to Rand’s Camera to purchase a used Olympus SLR camera with an auto-advance motor. After a few weeks the camera and motor attachment both stopped working.The “gentleman” that owned the store after a triad of verbal abuse agreed to give me back my money, if I came back the next day (all this was in the presence of my mother and when she commented you don’t need to be so nasty about it, he commented “lady I have a right to be nasty”, remember this was the owner not some underpaid clerk).The next day I returned with my father and the same “gentleman” literally threw my money at me, he then commented to my father that the camera had brassing (this is when the brass comes through when the black paint wears away). The reason it had brassing so quickly was someone had painted over an existing case of brassing. He stated that this was going to cost him money. My father gave me the express instructions never to set foot inside this store again, shortly after this event the Monmouth Mall store closed.Good riddance.

Unfortunately I dont remember the name of the young gentleman that helped me out, but we went through several tripods, flashes, and mounts with me and described them in great detail. Their prices are also competitive. Spend the the little bit extra and stay local when it comes to buying your photo/video equipment.

Priced the same as the big box stores. Why wouldnt you shop there. Personal, Quality and Knowledgeable service

This is the place for great photographic service, equipment and assistance by an outstanding staff. The only place I go!

They changed there hours so anyone with a normal job cant drop film off unless its a sunday then have to wait a week to pick it up on a sunday. Fix your hours so normal working people can actually drop film off. Your shooting yourself in the foot with those hours
