These folks are fantastic, would give them more stars if I could. They’ve done carpets and other flooring for us at multiple properties. Always a very reasonable price, great selection and excellent quality work. I would trust them with any job needed

If I could give this review ZERO stars I would. I would HIGHLY discourage anyone from doing business with East Coast Flooring. My husband and I had been shopping at various flooring stores within the Ocean and Monmouth County area, and happened to like one of the Abbey floors being displayed at East Coast. Every other company I had been dealing with was more than happy to lend us a sample for the day to see what it would look like within our home. After all, who would spend thousands of dollars on a floor without bringing a sample home first? When we asked East Coast flooring if we could borrow the sample for a day, we were told that was impossible. In an effort to obtain a sample, we contacted Abbey flooring directly and referenced the style and color of the floor as listed on the sticker made by East Coast Flooring. East Coast would also not provide a SKU# so the style and color was all the information we had. To our dismay, Abbey had never heard of the name of the floor and could not find it in their system. After talking with various other flooring stores, my husband and I learned that the resellers (ie. East Coast) change the name to discourage people from shopping around. However every other store was willing to give us the SKU number so we could figure out exactly what company manufactures the floors (Abbey is only the parent company), and read reviews on the quality. Without obtaining the SKU number from East Coast flooring we would be unable to get a sample, and furthermore be unable to identify who the manufacturer of the floor really is. We contacted East Coast flooring to explain the situation and were told they dont have a SKU # for the floor, and we have to just purchase it without any further information, and without obtaining a sample. What great customer service! When told this I inquired how they ordered their floors through Abbey without a SKU # given Abbey has no records of the name/color flooring they have displayed in their store because the name is just what East Coast calls it. To this is received a rude reply from Gene (the owner) saying that how they order their floors is none of my business. I explained that every other store I had been dealing with had been MORE than helpful, and that the way they operate their business seems very unethical and extremely misleading. The owner was rude and condescending and told me flat out to take my business elsewhere. So future buyers be forewarned. There are many other extremely HONEST and HELPFUL flooring companies that deserve your business. Given the way they treat their potential customers, they obviously dont want your business anyway.
