My grandkids love this store, and I kinda do too. Unique stuff, but some things are a little pricey. Very punk/goth, but a fun store to wander in.

Sarah and Abbey at the Hot Topic at the Ocean County Mall are just amazing! They are so friendly and helpful and made my experience there the best ever! The staff is great and knows what they need to about the store and merchandise they sell. They are not the reason for the 3 stars. Instead Hot topic is the reason for the lower 3 star rating. Hot topic was always a Gothic non mainstream place to shop. Where punks skaters and goths came to find clothing and apparel they just couldnt find anywhere else. Now Hot topic sports Tupac and various rap and mainstream stuff. The small selection of stuff they have left for the goths etc are lack luster and fake. It is truly sad to see a once great place go to the mainstream. RIP Hot Topic.

Love the staff here. Store is always clean. Always have a lot of awesome things when it comes to wrestling, pop vinyls, or any tv show/movie stuff. I always get my online orders shipped there and the staff are very quick to get it for me.

You got some cool stuff and easy to pick stuff up if you order it online

Rachael That big lady with long hair and tattoos on her arms is really rude and embarrassed me in front of everyone in the store because I was trying to reach for a shirtI go regularly there and buy a lots of stuff and I was really upset and I think she could’ve handled the situation in a better way. I work in retail as well and I am never rude to my costumers that need some helpIf it is a safety issue just tell me without screaming in the entire store making a big deal out of it and I always feel mistreated and hated by they people who works there! Not a good vibe 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Its a Hot Topic for sure. Nothing really special about it. They have a lot of nice stuff. Same old stuff tho. They need new stuff. I wouldve gave it 5 stars if the store was actually neat. The staff was really nice but it smells weird in there.

Hot topic is the same as its always been for the 25+ years its been around.

Great clothing, great workers, just great everything! Id honestly go there everyday if I could. I take so long in the store since there is so much to choose from! Its amazing!

Ive only been to the Hot Topic in the mall twice, but the staff was wonderful and Id definitely consider coming back. My one problem is the space. Certainly not a fault of the staff, but I just wish the store was a bit bigger.

Would not accept my return even though I had a receipt. I didn’t even want cash back. I just wanted store credit. So scummy. Then I call the customer service number and they basically tell me that the store manipulates people and refuses to give refunds. Like what? Who is running this customer service line? And why wouldn’t they just give me store credit back in the first place??Do not buy gifts for anybody here, because they’ll be unable to return them and the money will be lost forever. Absolutely terrible.

Helped me get the piercings I was looking for in the right size even when they had been hiding behind others so I didnt notice they had my sizes. They made sure I got exactly what I wanted and as always on sale too.

I absolutely love HOT TOPIC, but its too cramped. Every HOT TOPIC Ive been to is just the same. There is so much stuff, but just not enough space.
