Very sad to see this kind of a store have to close, especially during a time like this. They had amazing staff, unique collectibles, and great deals for years. Ocean County Mall wont be the same.

My son loves Anime and this place has it. As well as some other toys that could be the kid in all of us.

Other than Chad and his illegal black market Funko dealings, this place is great. My only complaint is that its not big enough to fully geek out. Im 34 and a lot of the stuff inside brings back fond memories of my childhood. The gear/toys/figurines/ etc. include: Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, other Nintendo franchises, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Rick and Morty, DBZ, He-man, She-ra, Harry Potter, and other nerd stuff. They have the battery powered light sabers that make sounds when you swing them or hit them. They have cool figurines. They have an Antman helm, an Iron Man helm, a Megaman helm, and a Captain America shield. They have Funko and the other one. They sell tshirts, mugs, board games, posters and more.The only thing that keeps me from buying from there is that you can likely find the items there for cheaper online or elsewhere, but not by much. And if you buy online there is no guarantee that you will receive an undamaged product, esp if you buy the expensive stuff. If I were rich Id buy half the store. Its my favorite and my 4 year old sons favorite store in the mall. If you are reading this review you must check it out.Check out this awesome Goku figurine they sell.

Think Geek is the best store. Go to since toys r us closed. They have alot of cool stuff. And the employees are always helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Its closing by the end of July 2020. Hope it comes back. They had a lot of fun stuff.

They have just about everything you need from props to figurines. Such a great place to bring back your childhood memories.

Very cool place to find collectibles of any kind from any anime, superhero, fantasy movie or enemies that you like.I recommend this place so much if you have a friend or family member who is a big geek or nerd.

A fantastic store that really brings out the geek from my childhood/young adulthood. They have a bit of everything if youre into comic books/fantasy they have a lot.

Getting a little tired of the same old merchandise, the constant sales pitch when I walk in, and the convoluted promotions they have. This is not a used car lot, leave me alone. Im more than capable of asking for help when I need it.

My friends are Gamers/Collectors so this is a good place to find merch.I would highly recommend going to gamestops store right next to it and checking clearance because I found multiple items cheaper there than thinkgeek(Vise Versa of course)

You could spend hours in this store, and still not see everything. They have an enormous selection of nerdy wares - from POPs to T-shirts, Gundams, Statues, Figures, and everything in between. Its also really nice that they are partnered with Gamestop, so you can use your gift cards here as well. Their figures are a little higher priced, but youll probably find ones you cant find anywhere else. Always worth a walkthrough while youre in the mall.

Didnt know they had stores outside of their online one. Was pleasantly surprised and found some great items, many of which cant be found elsewhere.

Great geek toy store.

On Friday, I walked in think geek of Toms River, to pick up a funko that my daughter was looking for, and to my surprise, an employee of boscov; mind you, he wasnt on break, had ran passed me to get into the store, to pick up a chase POP vinyl that theyve been holding behind the counter for him, when others were looking for it. When I asked why he was allowed to have funkos held for him, when by law states that funkos cant be held for anyone, that its first come first serve. Well the employee working there, claimed chad of boscov was able to preorder chase pieces. With the amount of rareity, you arent allowed to preorder chase pieces { I had asked a employee of GameStop } its a 1:6 chance that youll get a chase piece and they dont know what they are receiving in each shipment. He arrives hours later and they hold the good stuff for only him, when they tell regular customers that they arent allowed to hold things for them or that there arent any of what they are asking for. Why should one customer get special treatment over others? People stand in line for hours waiting for the store to open just to get a specific chase piece when in reality its only held for chad. How can chad preorder a chase funko and others cant? Why doesnt he just get a regular funko just like the rest of us? You dont get to pick and choose who gets what and when you ask the manager how you are able to preorder a chase funko they claim you cant. This has been going on for months, all the good valuable funkos can be found on chads eBay account instead of the actual store.
