I love the the sale after season ends. Place for affordable furnitures & mattresses. Usually good & friendly service.

They dont sell displays even if they are out if stock if items until season or holiday is over ... I like the store but policies here are different and could be better. Somethings priced great and others are over priced for no reason.. hit or miss

The big lot store on route 37 in toms River New Jersey, Has a Gentleman by the name of Dewight working the furniture dept for many years. He is the most kindest, polite, caring, employee I ever met. He helps you right away has Patience with you. I only go to him when I need furniture and that has been a lot between myself and my family. Thank you

I love Big Lots overall in general! The store seems clean. A bit cluttered in places like when you go towards the food aisles which I am not a fan of. But there are some really nice finds in this store, especially around the holidays. I bought most of my furniture here and my apartment looks amazing in my opinion! The workers I havent had a problem with, they seem really nice and I hope the company treats them well.

Nice store they need more help wait times very long

I was very surprised at the lay out of the store. This was my first time back her in maybe 2 years. Its very appealing to the eye and easy to navigate. The staff was super friendly/ helpful when I visited. They currently have a large selection of home decor and furniture! (If theyve always had that I hadnt noticed in the previous years)

Never had to return an item at a Big Lots so lucky for me with no receipt, they did use my store plus card, and wahala the credit card was a little heavier and I was driving home with my son in 5min ! By the way you have to get on line they dont have customer service

Lots of products dont have prices on them. Signage on sale items can be deceiving. On the better note they do have a large selection of food, household items, and furniture.

Clean, spacious and very well supply store. Some items are sold at a great discount mostly because of the brands, unknown brands always sell for less.

Love this store. Bought a recliner. Staff team lead Dwight was very with a reclining couch we were looking and the reclining chair we we ended up buying.

Went there to see what kind of living room furniture they had. Was pleasantly surprised with the selection and quality. They had several name brands at better prices than Value City. Even better was the service from Dwight who had a friendly energy and personality to match. He also found us a coupon that saved us some money! Great experience.

Went in for box spring yesterday afternoon, from the getgo this blonde lady shoulder length hair (sadly I forgot her name) took care of me had it sent to front of store in minutes and her personality had me laughing while there. Every place needs employees like her, very attentive, humorous and on point. Store is very organized and clean

Beautiful sofas for $299 and furniture at great prices! The overall appearance of the store and merchandise seems better than in the past! More like a Home Goods store ! Definitely worth a look!I bought a fireplace here last year that was a great find!

Big Lots has everything needed from houseware (indoor and outdoor), cleaning supplies, snacks, drinks, personal hygiene, candy, toys, few clothing items, dog and cat supplies.

They have done a lot of changes here...and not for the better. The lay out is just off now. It looks like it only has half of the inventory it used to have. I could walk around and hit every aisle before....today, i just wanted OUT.

Fast and convenient service and a little of this and that prices are fair.

Laurie the manager and Holly, who was the associate assisting her, went above and beyond to solve my issue. Customer Care at the corporate level had me swearing I would never deal with another Big Lots ever again, but Laurie and Holly not only fixed the problem, but brought my blood pressure back down!! I will definitely shop in the Toms River Big Lots again.

Lori Magliaro was very helpful and professional, she explained she was with a customer but would take my phone number and call me as soon as she was done with her customer. Has the usual big lots items. I still find it strange that they sell furniture, household food and items, garden stuff, etc. just such a strange mix. But glad it’s available!

This location is difficult to see from route 37, and easy to miss. The entrance to the parking lot is only accessible from Westbound route 37.The store carries a wide variety of items: foods, kitchen items, cleaning supplies, limited selection of hardware, pet supplies, plastic goods and storage, crafting items, make-up, health and beauty items, cell phone and tablet accessories, furniture, and seasonal items. Many are discounted items or brands, that are reasonably priced.There is a rewards program, although I have never seen a benefit.

This store is organize and very clean. Staff are friendly and the restroom are clean. I was in a month or two ago and I can see the changes that have been made. Keep up the good work management your location looks amazing. I like going here for home goods the prices are unbeatable and the unique food items I sometimes can’t find at the grocery

Big Lots has changed for the better since I was last there many months ago. The rearranged their store as well as added a hugh variety of items. Its well organized and stocked! Its tidy and clean as well. I was also impressed with the quality of furniture such as beds & mattresses!! I will be returning to Toms River Big Lots and I do recommend it also.

This place is like a mini department store with everything from furniture, to food, to garden supplies. They have a limited selection of a lot of different items at great prices. Its definitely worth a trip when youre out and about.

Do not trust their website!! Ordered something for pickup. After my money was taken. They cancelled my order!! Have my money and then after phone call to them. They never had in stock!!!!

This store looks incredible since it was remodeled! Looks brand new and refreshed. Their furniture is of great quality as well! We recently bought a kitchen table from there. You cant beat the price and quality!!

I find so much stuff i dont need and a lot of stuff I do need. If you see it but it because this is not a consistently stocked store. The name Big Lots could also be odd lots, One hit wonder in some products

I love that this store has a nice selection..they have a lot of nice home decor, holiday decorations, furniture all looks nice. HOWEVER, I HATE going in there...you go in for 1 item, and spend 15 minutes waiting in line. And it’s every single time I go in. It’s beyond frustrating. It’s not worth waiting in line that long sometimes. I understand payroll, and hours. But it’s every single time...for YEARS now. Is it a payroll issue, or a scheduling issue?

Why would you NOT go here? I buy my blank CDs here. Never a problem. Cheap headphones. Car cleaning stuff. Kitchen cleaners.. Food. Too much to list. Cashiers are awesome and helpful. They should make more money. I was a cashier once.

Good store for a huge variety of things. Can get groceries and buy a patio set at discounted prices. Only thing..they will carry a product for a temporary amount of time. So if you find a rare flavor of Gatorade you like? Stock up before its gone.

Great staff . Inexpensive from soup to nuts and everything in between. Great furniture, great prices. Cant beat their regularly held 20% off weekends(about every 3 months).

I am a proud Afro Native American, but the way this cashier made my kids feel...i will not torment you with my story. Yet racism still exists. Just cant believe it.

You can usually find great bargains and sales here. Also have specials like 20% off your entire cart starting at noon. Have to look for these specials though. But has a lot of great stuff, especially for outdoor gardening.

If I could give this place a -20 stars I definitely would I will not be going back to purchase anything from this store my mother went into the store happy and ready to buy some of there furniture on Black Friday the day after thanksgiving she put a down payment on a loveseat and full couch the manger Stephanie went into the back to see if they have it she came back n said yes perfection on December 13th we went back to the store and paid off the rest of the payment they still said they have n it was sitting in the back now on December 19 th they call in that morning saying they will drop it off at 11 am they called at 1 n then 6 pm we get a call from big lots telling us they don’t have the furniture, so I say ok is there anywhere else you guys can call n bring the furniture so we waited for then to call back n they never call back so at 730 We call the corporate number to see if we can resolve the issue the Chanda the corporate lady says she can’t do anything about it ok great get off the phone n call back to big lots maybe they have anything mind you I’m sitting in a bare house with no furniture they tell me they found out there is one in Brick 20 mins from where I live mind you, and the delivery person says now he can’t deliver the furniture by tomorrow but on Monday how is this even logical how can he not deliver tomorrow from a store 20 mins from where I live and 10 from where his truck sits at the Toms River store I will never as long as I live shop from this store they should be ashamed of there selves I wouldn’t even be mad if they didn’t have but letting us know a day before delivery this is Ridiculous
