The staff there were so friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me for an hour picking out plants. I was shocked how affordable the plants were. You get a huge plant for the same size as a small one at the big stores. The plants seem to be healthier too

Blackburn Nursery has the highest quality of flowers, tropicals, shrubs, and trees of any Nursery in Topeka, Lawrence, and all other surrounding areas. There are a variety of flowers and colors to choose from and not just your basics like marigolds and geraniums.They take good care of their flowers, etc and they are beautiful. Also, their prices are very reasonable and they have good sales. You will never be disappointed in your selections.

Customer service is excellent! Took the time on the phone to help understand our needs and make sure they would have a product to fit the needs before making the drive. Called Skinners first and was basically blown off. So decision was a no brainer.

Clean and well maintained with good selection of healthy plants. Skinners Garden Store in North Topeka is my favorite, but Blackburns is a close second. Stay as far away from Jacksons Nursery as possible unless you want diseased plants or you want to deal with horrible owners.

Read your contract, I was a little surprised about buying plants an them dieing, replacement no problem, but they continue to add labor. Maybe this is not?

Poor selection of what I was looking for. I passed numerous workers I was never asked if I needed help finding something. When I did finally find a few items the checkouts were extremely slow to the point I almost put my stuff down and walked out. I will be going to Jacksons from now on... I was just hoping since this place was closer to where I lived they would work for my gardening needs.
