Called ahead to check stock on the OLED. Was assured by Meredith that they had plenty. Drove an hour to get here. Was then told that they had none in stock. I doubt they sold plenty in one hour between 1 and 2 on a Friday afternoon. I was offered a half hearted apology with no solution by their store leader. I would advise the employees to keep their employment options open because this Gamestop will probably be closing in the near future too due to poor customer service like this. Been a pro member since 2004, treated like crud again. I would love to see this company commit to the service they used to provide. They used to care enough that they prevented mistakes like this and then made up for the mistakes when they did make them. Amazon will have it available soon enough.

Gamestop isnt at all like it used to be. This place was nice and clean and well organized, but lacked many games and the floor is pretty bare. They could definitely carry more than they currently have. All in all though, good service and clean location

Ill meet this place in the middle and give it three stars. I dont hate it, its clean, they have games, the folks inside here are Uber nerds and can answer pretty much any game related question you would ever have. There are downsides though. Prices in here are quite a bit higher than the competitors. If you wanted anime imports or used gear you can head over to Vintage Stock and have a much more radical time with those specialized nerds. Theyre still trying to convince you that you need to pre-reserve games but I guarantee that on release day Walmart will have the same game stacked up like cordwood in the aisles. If you are trying to sell a used game you can probably make more money on Facebook Marketplace.

It is always fun to go there. I would actually rather go here to get games. I like the store. I like the feel. I like the people. I will keep going here first. :-)

If you buying games in Topeka this is the place to go. The staff is very knowledgeable and they always have a good selection of new and pre-owned games.

My experiences here have never really been good. Their prices are too high, and they offer almost nothing on exchange.Theyll purchase your system and all your games for less then youd spend on a new game then sell them all to the next guy in line at nearly new prices. Their employees run the gambit from rude and annoyed to generally helpful and polite, so its a luck of the draw kind of thing.Id honestly suggest finding Gamers HQ, off of 21st and Gage. They offer better prices, the staff are always polite, and their trade in programs are way better.

Manager is trash runs away customers. The ID policy will kill them obviously I am a grown man I am not a child and yet you still ask for ID? To top it off when you tell him his policy is stupid he’ll get mad and refuse to serve you. Going bankrupt for good reason!

The store is clean and well staffed. Theyve branched put beyond just games. There are many collectables for sale along with shirts and hats. It is fun to see the new stock.

Worst experience ever! I preorder my star wars fallen order in May and the game was released on 11/15 by the 17th I decided to check on it cause never got a phone call but got an email saying if I returned my preorder then I can get up to soo much for my trade-in. Called customer service which is the worst help as they told me my order was canceled and I got this email in error. Going to the store they see my order and it was canceled unsure why but never a refund done. Cameron help me and we called customer service and got a refund which I didnt want so we place a new order. I would think for my inconvenience they would overnight ship it but this was done on the 19th. Here we are on the 25th and still no game. Called the store they dont see a delivery date. Call customer service just to go over everything again to when the rep John thought I wanted a refund. No! I just want the gane. He couldnt help then the supervisor Shannon who didnt even hear me out before she explain what she got going for me but thats not helping me. I came up with a suggestion that would satisfy me which is like me have 1 of the game from the store and I will just give them the game I get from my preorder which is not a steel book case so figured it be no problem. No that something a supervisor from customer service can not do. I had this happen before so I called the store since they are the only 1 that can approve this and I have to wait till Wednesday the 27th to see if the store will allow this cause the rep at the store wont call their manager for this. Really encouraging everybody to have other game stores to go to cause ordering online through gamestop was something even the store recommend not doing online or using the app causevtgat faulty also. Go into the store for anything you want done and hope for the best. I even asked if customer service would send a $10 gift card due to all this incovince but nothing. Wrost experience ever!

The Topeka and Manhattan stores were great at helping my wife with a gift for our son. But I did see them less than personable to another customer.

We drove 30 miles to get 2 specific new games, they had 20 of each on the shelf but were out and offered to order them for us. We settled for used games. Not a terrific experience at all.

Typical GameStop. Have the big titles and some of the smaller ones. Give you close to a dollar for most of your games. and sell you other peoples games for almost full price

Gamestop gives you the most horrible trade in values, most of their used systems are junk Ive had to replace a used Xbox One S 4 times until I gave up and am getting myself the new hardware revision of the nintendo switch with the new Custom Nvidia X1 chip with a major die shrink, down to 16nm from 24nm in the current model thats been the same since launch. The die shrink and also customized Tegra chip instead of an off the shelf one will allow the battery to have nearly twice the battery life up to 9 hours from 6.5, of course it varies depending on how much the game utiluzes the hardware but youll always get better battery life than the model that its replacing, it costs the same, if your getting a bintendo switch wait till after mid august and look for the box that is the one I have included a pic of, their will be two boxes one for each of the joycon colors which are the same as the current model, im hoping they are also going to fix the joysticks, that hasnt been said but im guessing they will. Both the two different joycon colors you can get will look identical to this only showing the respective joycon colors or color you are getting. Mainly just look for an all red box. Price is still 299.99 and your getting a significant battery life upgrade and also a console longevity update because it will run soo much cooler it will not warp in the dock or abything, it has a whole redesigned motherboard, only differences are internal but up to 9 hours of handheld play vs the current max of 6.5 is a major user upgrade worth waiting half a month for. By the way I will be getting the new hardware revision of the switch at best buy, or walmart, NOT at Gamestop.

GameStop....meh..Its nice to pick up the occasional used game for cheap but pretty much everything they sell can be had for cheaper from Amazon including used games.

Went to trade in some games they didnt offer much for store credit, and even their used games were expensive, I decided to go to Gamers instead.

Handicap parking is crazy they have one handicap spot where the ramp is the store is so crowded full of stuff someone in a wheelchair cannot get through without bumping into everything but the service was great

I went into the Gamestop in front of the mall and the clerk was thr single most disrespectful bigot I have ever encountered as a customer. i wanted to see a set of headphones for Playstation, they keep these behind the counter. The clerk unapologetically refused to do so saying I had to purchase them first and he would not give me his name nor the contact information of his manager. Please, buy your games online, or from somewhere else. This is the most humiliating experience I can recall and I will never, ever patron this establishment again.

Awful. Every time I pre-order a game from GameStop something is the matter and after Ive handed my money over they could care less and do nothing to help. Just got BF1 and my code wasnt working for some DLC that came with game and they told me to contact Sony when all I needed was a new game. Wouldnt be so bad if it was the only incident but there are two others. Again, take your business somewhere else, somewhere that will see your experience all the way through.
