This place has everything! I was buying a gift for a guitar player and I was inspired to start playing again after several years of not even picking up a guitar. Great store, great people.

What can I say? Great American music shop with an awesome staff. I dealt with Derek, RJ, and Kelly and they were all very friendly and helpful dudes that made an effort to accommodate my tight schedule. Do yourself a favor and buy here rather than online/Guitar Center, so you can support an awesome business, and get real service dealing with friendly guys who know their stuff. Thanks again guys!

Just want to send a giant shoutout to Kelly who took excellent care of me! I ordered a large, heavy keyboard and to no fault of Supersonic Music it was damaged by the carrier during shipment. I called Kelly (I live far from their store!) and he went into high gear and took care of me immediately. The time it took for him to issue me a credit was seamless. Often times it’s how a business fixes problems that they win my loyalty. Next time I need a Roland keyboard, the first person I’ll call will be Kelly!Thank you,Joel F

Wide selection of musical instruments, they offer layaway and financing (with good credit) but your dont need good credit for layaway.

Flick, my 80s USA HM Strat, sat for years after being worked on by another shop. A re-fret job gone horribly wrong and poor customer service after, I dont think those cats are around any more..... anywho, left him sitting. RJ Soldani took Flick in and made him whole again. I cant say thank you enough. Im seriously tearing up over here.... Awesome, just awesome workmanship and service. I have never had a problem with anyone down at the shop and now I just want to hug you all! They are the George Lynch of shops!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

BUYER BEWARE!!! Purchased $60 worth of adapters on Saturday, was told by sales clerk if they didn’t work for me I could simply return them. On Monday (2 days later) tried to return them, but was told by a different sales clerk “supersonic does not offer refunds”, so now I am stuck with adapters I do not need or can use. Supersonic has LOST MY BUSINESS!!sales pitch does not match fine print

Glad Topeka has a nice, albeit small and mostly guitar-oriented shop. Wish there were more options for keys, but retail doesnt really do synthesis anymore sadly. The guys Ive met here are knowledgeable and helpful.

The only real music store in Topeka. Whether its strings for a client, or our newest piece of studio gear, Supersonic Music is always our first stop. The staff is friendly and they know their products well. My favorite part is theres no pressure and no hounding like weve experienced at most music stores. They also offer lessons and instrument repair, so no matter what your musical need is they have you covered. Supersonic Music is a great company run by great people. Highly recommend them for all your gear needs.

I get all my equipment from supersonic. Every now and then I pick up a guitar from somewhere else but RJ and his techs are the only ones that i have work on my guitars.There just good people man. They treat everybody like a rock star

I dig this place. Going in to a music store when youre very aware of how much of a novice you are and the staff is welcoming is a big thing for some folks. They were very nice.

I bought a tenor ukulele and the sound is wonderful. The service is excellent. I would recommand going there to buy an instrument or accessories.

I came from out of town to Supersonic for an amp repair because they’re highly recommended in my area, and I was not disappointed. Worth the drive for the knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I really love this place. They have a good selection of items, and theyre usually at Internet pricing, or sometimes lower. RJ does great repair and custom work, and is very accommodating if you need to make a return. I highly recommend this place.

Sure, their pricing is often not as low as that of their online competition; thats the world we live in. But can you ask MF to let you strike that Bosphorus 10 splash just to be sure you like it and it fits your needs before you hand over your money? I think not.

I occasionally go there to find odd things for amplifiers or microphones- they always have whatever crazy thing I am looking for. 1/4 stereo to dual 1/4 mono? Got it right there. Little foam spit guards that will fit Senheiser wireless lavaliere microphones? Got it.

Not a huge bass section, but the guitar section was ok and the drums were awesome.

Ive been through some music stores that treated me like an ATM, so it came as a breath of fresh air when Supersonic treated me like a valued customer.I ordered an amp, and various circumstances delayed it a couple months later than expected. I wasnt thrilled about the mishaps, but Supersonic gets five stars because of how they handled the delay. RJ was honest and apologetic when he learned my amp was going to be late, and he kept me updated and in the loop the whole time. He even offered me a free set-up and restring on my guitar (and did a marvelous job) and a few more freebies when the amp did finally arrive.Sometimes things go wrong, but I was really impressed with Supersonics good management of a bad situation. Any time I need service on any of my instruments, Im going back.

Well I went in today and one of the employees, even after telling him I was fine the first time, wouldnt quit asking if I needed help. Im not stupid I have been playing guitar long enough to know what I want to try out. Next I was wanting to try out a PRS, and yes I understand they are expensive guitars and the reason why he didnt want me trying it because I might scratch it. He decided to tell me that I didnt look like I could afford it and gave me a long rant about how valuable those guitars are, well obviously I know, I wouldnt have just asked. He continued to show me a cheaper PRS, I did appreciate he showed me it, but he held it until I sat down and plugged the amp in for me continuing with his rant on the PRS. I am sorry, but I am fully able and know how to handle a guitar and amp. Lastly I asked about their hiring, just wondering, and he continued to say,Well obviously someone more mature than you. Then continued to on about how hard it is and pretty much almost stating he didnt like it. I dont know about anykne else, but if you know pretty much nothing about me, and just because I am young, who are you to determine who I am, mature wise, apparently. All I know is I am not coming back for not only that, but I can find many of those guitars and products at a far cheaper price on amazon or at guitar center. I will give it two stars only because of the selection of instruments, but that is all.

Got my bass from here, random selection of guitars and bass but deff worth checking out, staff very helpful tons and tons of drums, and hand drums, if your a musician check it out you can always find something cool to buy
