I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Hakuhodo USA. I was skeptical at first when I saw the location. But they seemed to be the only company selling Hakuhodo brushes in the US so I presumed legitimacy and decided to order from them.In deciding to replace my makeup brushes I came to realize the market is MUCH more saturated than the last time I purchased brushes. I decided to narrow it down to one brand first. After reading many reviews and watching many videos I settled on getting primarily Hakuhodo brushes. However, I realized that even within one brand there is an overwhelming amount of options.Thankfully Amber, at the Hakuhodo USA store, was super helpful and patient. She spent time on the phone with me as I explained the different brushes I was looking for, how I would use them and what problem I was trying to solve. For example, wanting to apply a light layer of pigmented blush and a heavier layer of light colored blush. Her recommendations were excellent. She sent me the brush number, descriptions, how it would be used and comparison photos. I wanted a full set. Light blush application, heavy blush application, light layer of setting powder, light bronzer, heavy bronzer, light highlighter, heavy highlighter. You get it. She did a lot of work selecting brushes.I purchased each of the items she suggested as they were tailored exactly to what I was looking for. They all worked out fantastic! I love them! My makeup application is so much more flawless and requires less work.I only returned two brushes. One was an item I had ordered by myself before I reached out to Amber. The other was one we talked about, to blend out blush lines at the edges, but I didn’t need it because the blush brushes perform so flawlessly there are no lines to blend. I sent them back and was given a full refund since they were still sealed in the plastic, which means they were still in the sanitized condition they came in.I did my purchase in a few different orders. Each was shipped out the same day and arrived very quickly to me. I couldn’t be happier with the brushes and with the customer service I received. I highly recommend purchasing from Hakuhodo USA.

They have always had the best and friendliest customer service. The brushes are well worth the investment. The brushes I have had for 3 years still look pristine after using them everyday. I first found this brand at IMATS and as I walked around and asked questions the sales assistant was extremely knowledgeable and patient. She told me the history behind the brand and after I made my purchase, she put a beautiful booklet about the brushes in my bag. It isn’t often you get such genuinely enthusiastic people behind a brand that are as helpful as I have found the Hakuhodo employees to be. Love these brushes and their brand reps.

Simply divine! Best brushes you will ever use or find! Staff is so helpful and knowledgeable! Silly me wasnt aware it was by appointment only, but they were kind enough to let me browse the show room and make several purchases!

Always a fan. I always go in person and although Im not a professional make up artist, these brushes are the best. They are an investment and well worth it. The vermillion ones are so gorgeous you dont want to use them. Was just there again yesterday. You should call in advance if you go to the store in Torrance.

If you are serious about makeup brushes, this is a must! This is by appointment only, but that makes your shopping experience so much better! She brought me tea and made me feel so welcomed. I had a list of brushes I wanted, and the woman who helped me brought me all the similar brushes to choose from. She even brought me 20 of the same flat liner brush so I could hand pick which one would be mine. My purchase came in a nice bag with a dvd and brochure. Hakuhodo makes the worlds best brushes and the level of care and attention that goes into the brushes was carried over into the personal customer service I received. I ended up getting 15 pieces. SO WORTH IT!

Good selection of brushes, but inefficient when it comes to international orders. It’s been 3 weeks I’m waiting for an order that should take up to « 10 business days ». The joke
