Honestly, not a big fan of their shaved ice because i prefer more milky, sweet, and fruity korean shaved ice. However, i recently went in for their taiyaki (korean 붕어빵). 1. They advertise it for 5 for $12 (have 3 different flavors) but then they charged me $16 because i ordered different flavors. Wish they could’ve told me that when I asked “can I mix and match it?” 2. Surprisingly, their cheese flavor was the best. (There is also red bean and custard. Red bean was sweet and good but they put in very little filling so I could not enjoy 100% of it. Custard was the most disappointing. Not sweet at all and they hardly put anything in it. I felt like I was just eating the bread.) 3. I do not think i would come back here to eat it, but if you’re ever craving 붕어빵, the cheese one is worth the try!
Nice little cafe to enjoy company with family or friends. They have coffee, tea, traditional Korean shaved ice, and other small sweets. It’s not super big inside, so I’d recommend this place for smaller groups. They also have a bathroom inside which is nice. Note that they don’t serve water cups here so you’ll have to buy a water bottle if you’re thirsty or just bring your own.
Really good shaved ice but the portion is quite small for the price.
It was very tasty but a tad pricey.
We came here for their Bingsu (Korean shaved ice), the quality and flavor of the ice is delightful and not too sweet. Like how they mix super soft and semi soft red beans together to make the topping. My complain; size is too small for the price. Much better value with Taiwanese shaved ice. This restaurant is clean including the bathroom, but a small place with not many seatings.
Really great desserts! I love the taiyaki (especially the red bean one). The store is super cute, and the person attending is super friendly and sweet. Glad I found this spot!
Great place for desserts. They specialize in red bean desserts from snow bowls to the warm red bean porridge. If you dont want red bean they have delicious fruit ice and fruit snow bowls as well. Nice location next to Tous les Jour and plenty of parking. Reminds me of the nice cafe and dessert places in KPop Dramas and in Seoul. So good.
I got the red snow cup and it was good. I got it with the OG sauce instead of strawberry juice (thanks to the girl taking my order) and I was not disappointed. It came with just a few strawberries, a pocky stick, and actual yogurt, granola, coconut flakes, and honey in the middle! It was actually very very yummy. I tried my friends green tea shaved ice and it had a very strong green tea taste-- as in it was mostly bitter. I recommend getting the snow cup with customizations if the person working is nice enough to do it for you
Cute place with delicious deserts and teas.
Was incorrectly charged twice... Cant believe I tipped.
Cute decorations, tasty teas and coffees, fair price.Okrumong has a very intimate and cozy setting, great place for a casual date. I recommend the Vietnamese cold brew or Yuzu tea, the taiyaki is very delicious too.The staff are friendly and kind.
Very customer great service! I loved the Sikhye drink. Ill definitely go back to try the snow cups and rice cakes when Im in the area again.
Had an overall great experience. I dont like red bean, because its beans, but everything else Ive tried had a good taste and texture.
Great Korean desserts, but it ain’t gonna draw crowds with its high prices... I’d go way more often but its just too expensive for what it is.
I love Japanese sweet beans so I really wanted to try the Korean version. It was really good and Im really glad I tried it. However, IMO the pricepoint for what you get is a tad high. Probably will not casually visit, only when I really have a craving.
Shaved ice so fine its like new snow! Tasty other sweets.
High price but the food is great
VERY GOOD
Friendly staff, clean establishment, they provide free water and barley tea. Theres even a small sink where you can wash your hands. Well definitely be back!
This place is so delicious. I cannot get enough of the beef tamales. So yum.I crave them all the time
This is a great place to go for Bingsu (Korean Shave Ice) dessert. A nice cozy place where you can sit with friends and enjoy some great tasting desserts.I loved the bingsu (Korean Shave Ice) at Okrumong. The shave ice was very smooth and rich in flavor throughout. It was topped with red beans and served in a large portion big enough to share with two people.
Great place outside of koreatown to have good patbingsu. The size is good for 2 people to share. I thought it would be bigger based off of online photos. Some seats inside.
Korean shaved ice, they have new smaller size shaved ice.
Unique dessert shop. They specialize in Korean pastries with either red bean or black sesame filling, which are hard to find anywhere else. They bake them fresh throughout the day, but you may need to wait 20 minutes or more if they happen to be sold out when you arrive. Their other specialty is pingsoo, or shaved ice desserts. The ice is very light, light powder snow, and topped with mochi and black sesame, mungbean, or other powders. Really refreshing and delicious!
Great shaved ice with red beans
Delicious Korean Shaved Ice. We ordered the green tea flavor bowl, and the presentation of the dessert was amazing, as was the taste.
If half stars were available Id give 2.5. Perhaps from the reviews that I read and the photos that I saw I was expecting too much. I was really looking forward to the bingsoo. It was on the small side but from a previous review it said that it would be more than enough for 2 people to share. I dont think that was the case. There was plenty of red bean; on the top and layered in the middle but otherwise not too much flavour. There were chunks of ice when bingsoo should be shaved ice that melts in your mouth. Overall, Im disappointed.
Shave ice is very tasty
I like this place. It is very tasty!
Korean style desserts, delicious, and quite
Good Korean desert place!
The best shaved ice in California

Delicious Korean treats! vegetarian friendly
My daughter like this place a lot. We are the only ones in the shop, though.
Their rice cakes are delicious
We loved their shave ice but this new staff is unfriendly and lack of attention when serving.
