Very good and honest people. Joe, my mechanic, was very thorough when working on my truck. The office kept me informed about every other day what was going on. The final price was very good. I believe I found my new garage to go to for anything i need done. Thanks guys. God bless!

I wish I would have used them sooner. Kept me aware of found problems and cost. Respectful, polite and good work. Didnt over promise or give me sticker shock. I wont use any other tire or mechanic ( as long as Im in the area) here again.

Lady at desk is horrible, nasty and doesnt know anything about repairs or customer service. After 2 weeks of them having my vehicle, she called and said she got the wrong part and it would be several hundred more. Next day she called and refused to fix it. Refused to refund the 50% deposit they required. These are HORRIBLE people with an even worse shop. I should have read the reviews.....BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS!

Awesome service. I am retired military with two kids under 5 and a 7 months pregnant wife. We were told by another shop our Silverados engine was shot and needed to be replaced. We got a second opinion from Main St Auto and not only did we not need a new engine they fixed our truck so it runs better than it ever has since we bought it. They followed up with calls to make sure it was still ok too. My wife and I can not recommend them enough. You can trust them. Very honest.

Very impressed! Honest people in my experience!Brought my truck in after I was told I had a blown head gasket at another shop in town. I was impressed as soon as I seen the mechanics. Looks may be deceiving but they were covered in grit, grim, and oil like they had actually been working on something.I didn’t tell the mechanics what the previous shop had told me but just the issues the truck was having. They checked it out for some time and told me the problem was a bad radiator cap. Not a blown engine but a bad radiator cap! Wow!They ordered me a new one and I was back on the road. Truck had been running for thousands of miles since.I would for sure do business here again.

I was stuck in Trinidad with a locked up a/c compressor and they were the only place in town with the part and could get it done the next day. Everywhere else would have to order it and wouldnt be available for 3-4 days. They are honest and friendly people who get the job done right.

Just like visiting my trusted hometown mechanic! We stopped here on our road trip when we were having trouble with a shaky vehicle that we assumed was something to do with the tires. Receptionist and mechanic were both extremely friendly, understood we wanted to get it fixed and get on our way, called us with updates, and didn’t try to screw us over by making up issues that weren’t there. Exceptional service and I will come here again if we ever find ourselves in Trinidad needing repairs.

Terrible customer service and mechanical ineptitude! Dropped my truck off here for a week because it was experiencing a cylinder misfire on my way to a Colorado elk hunt. In the week they had it they changed a coil pack on the cylinder which did NOT fix the problem and they cleaned the clutches in the rear differential!?! In the end they charged me $600 and fixed absolutely nothing. Furthermore when calling for updates I was constantly told they would get back with me and would never call me back. After this terrible experience I inquired around Trinidad with other mechanics and found out that this establishment is well known for charging customers several thousand dollars for labor and parts that have nothing to do with fixing the problem the vehicle was brought in for. The people at this business are inept at best and likely fraudulent in dealing with customers. Avoid taking your vehicle here at all costs.

There should be no doubt that this shop knows what they are doing and they do it very, VERY WELL. I have all of my vehicles maintained by them with no problems!!

My A/C went out in 90 degree weather on the way south from Colorado Springs. I called a couple of mechanics and non were available. Then I called this place and they said they could help. Place was filthy I was the only customer. After over an hour they said it was a sensor and they couldn’t get the part for days. They gave me some print outs they said described the problem. Gave me a bill for $110Turns out it was the compressor. Two mechanics said the print outs they gave me were nothing more than electrical schematics and worthless. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

We were just passing through when the check engine light came on. The guy at Autozone checked the code and it came back as a bad fuel pump. Main Street Tire and Auto was recommended. Mike checked it out, turns out it wasnt the fuel pump but a computer issue. They flashed the update from Dodge. They also replaced the rear shocks since one of the shock absorbers had gone bad enough that the tire was rubbing the against the wheel well intermit. We were all fixed up and on the road in a little over two hours - which was great for us. These are good folks!

Great customer service

Years ago, DEC of 2013, I driving from Oregon to Florida in an old beat up spray painted acura. Ended up having some noises and assumed the worse. And the guys at autozone called a friend of theirs(who was/is a mechanic here) to help me out. He looked at it for free(and refused any money I gave), and pretty much explained to the tee what I needed to do to fix it. I cannot remember his name, but he helped me out after the shop was closed, out in the cold dark with a flash light to put my mind to ease. Ive never forgotten that guy cause he doesnt take advantage. Wish I could tell ya his name.

Good garage but apparently poor customer care. I was disappointed by their inability to listen to me and before stating they are fully booked.
