Helpful in scheduling my appointment times. Didnt have to wait just a few minutes to be seen, on time. Friendly, helpful staff. Doctor was understanding of my health issues as related to my eye health.

The receptionist Dee at the trinidad office was extremely nice and professional. When I called to make an appointment due to me having issues with my eye she was very pleasant and caring to get me in as soon as possible. When I got to Rocky Mountain eye Dee was the receptionist at the front desk. She again, was very nice and helpful as she was on the phone. As I was sitting in the waiting area I noticed she was profession and respectful to all the patients.I wanted to recognize Dee on her professionalism and making my experience a pleasure.

The people in at Rocky Mountain Eye Center are very friendly and knowledgeable. Did not have to wait long before I was seen. Dr. Clark was very nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend RMEC to my friends.

I paid $138 last year for glasses at Walmart. This week I paid $540 for glasses here. The only difference is that I have the photogray on the new pair. I am kinda confused and wondering why so high? I would like to see itemized statement.Received my $540 glasses. So far so good. But upon receiving my glasses I asked for a cleaning cloth and was informed I could buy one.. really people. How cheap.

Love the new digs in Trinidad. Everyone one was polite and efficient. Jackie was very thorough. I had not seen Dr. Anna Clark before and she explained everything very carefully. I appreciated that. Good experience.

Very professional and compassionate staff. The only thing is that if you falland break your glasses you are out of luck if your prescription is expired toget a lens replaced or a new set of glasses.

The assistant (Julia) did a fine job completing all but the final evaluation.

Terrible..... I ordered glasses..... first the style came in and it was incorrect but they fought me on that, AND they werent the correct prescription. After having my eyes tested at a physicians office a month later, I could not see out of my right eye. I went back to the office and they again insisted that the frames and prescription were correct. They set me up for a glasses check with the doctor. It was determined that the prescription was incorrect. So they corrected the prescription and were willing to correct the frame style. However, they told me that I paid $160 for the frames and that I would owe any extra, which is fair. The glasses I picked out were only $120. When I asked for the $40, they said it didnt work that way.... after an argument, they said they would credit me the $40. Well that didnt happen as I am still waiting a month later. I would also like to add that on my initial appointment, it was made for eye check and contact check. They didnt tell me until I got there that they had no one do check the contacts so I lost my yearly insurance for my contact check and now have to wait a whole year for contact renewals. AND - I had to take off work 4 times for all of this to happen. The facility was willing to ruin my sight by telling me the glasses were the correct ones and arguing about it. I can never recommend them to anyone and please beware of this eye clinic. I did feel the doctors were exceptional - No complaints with doctors.

My glasses broke and I walked in and asked for help. They made time for me and then repaired my frames at no cost. They are always very kind and helpful!

Very friendly and efficient staff at this location, much better than my previous attempts at the Raton, NM location. I was however disappointed that after my eye exam I was prompted to set up a separate appointment a couple weeks out just so that the Dr. could look at my eyes with my new contacts in. I would have been happy to do it then, as a cant imagine it takes all but 5 minutes.

If not for the billing Id have given a 5 star rating. It was easy to get an appointment and the exam was thorough. I should have, but didnt expect to have my eyes dialated and had forgotten my sunglasses, but they gave me a rolled plastic sunglass protector so I could drive home. The staff were nice and the office was clean and professional. My issue is that the bill was $305 comp + $40 dialate or $100+ more than typical. They are a provider on my insurance so I didnt have to pay the difference, otherwise Id have owed more than $250. Just be sure to check your insurance and ask for the rate before you go. I would use them again.

Beautiful place and the workers were so friendly.

All of the employees are very proffessional. And will take the time to figure things out. I have a scar on my right eye, and I need glasses now. Figuring out the prescription so far has taken two trips, but I hope this time we have figured it out. It might be the glass also, we will see when the new prescription glasses come in.I am thankful for the Staffs help, and patients, with trying to figure things out, because my sitituation is not normal.I would highly recommend Rocky Moutain Eye Center.

Back in early January I called this Trinidad location asking for an appointment, and was told that the earliest I could be seen is today, Feb. 25th. Imagine my surprise when I receive a call at 8AM letting me know that the optometrist would not be able to see me today for my appointment. Okay, fair enough. The weather isnt cooperating and you cant change that. So, whens the next time that I can be seen? Im given a date a month and a half away. No, seriously. Thats what they tell me is the EARLIEST that I can be seen at this location.Unfortunately I wasted my time and couldve been seen elsewhere sooner. I wont make that mistake again.

The front desk ladies are very courteous and efficient. I spent very little time in the socially distanced check-in area. Each technician interaction was fast and but very thorough. They were happy to answer all of my questions and explained in detail what they were doing and what to expect when Dr. Smith came in. Dr. Smith is always polite and engaging making sure I didnt have any issues or problems since our last meeting. He dictated his finding to his transcriber as he checked my eyes and spoke in plain English when I asked about one of his comments. We discussed everything; I was confident as I left that I was in good hands with Dr. Smith and staff of Rocky Mountain Eye Center of Trinidad.

I got Gucci glasses they’re so beautiful and fit well. Such pretty colors and solid framing.

Im not sure how to rate my experience. Ive worn glasses for 20 years. I barely passed my last driver vision test last year and need a new prescription. After the exam I was told I have 20/20 vision with no need for corrective lenses. I will go to another eye clinic for a proper exam and new glasses.

Great team, efficient, well-managed facility. Grateful we have them here in Trinidad. Month ago I made an urgent appointment and got in within 2 hours. I barely had my paperwork done before I was being seen by the skilled and professional techs and OD. This past week I just had a regular exam. The office has been remodeled and is really nice. The staff as usual was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend.

The care I have received at the Rocky Mountain Eye Center has been wonderful! I had cataract surgery for both eyes and the procedure was amazingly free of pain, anxiety, and fear. Everyone affiliated with RMEC has been very professional, yet also extremely friendly. The measures they have taken during the pandemic are also quite reassuring. I highly recommend this eye care center!

My appointment was late to start by nearly 2 hours. When I came out of my eye exam, they had already closed down the optical department between 4:00 p.m. and 430p and told me I would have to come back another day to order my glasses. I had to call in the following week to place my glasses order when someone was supposed to call me and never did. I called for my glasses at 2 weeks after the order to find out they did not pass quality control and would need to be remade from scratch taking another 1- 2 weeks.

This was my first visit. Only four stars because I was disappointed that my information from Dr. Hagen hadnt been added to my file.

He is very personable, kind, and unhurried. I enjoyed being treated like I was a friend.. Not just another patient.Best, and most pleasant experience Ive had in 2 decades.Im looking forward to my new contacts to arrive.Dr. Smith is arranging that my fitting be scheduled while he is at the Trinidad, CO. office to insure a proper fit.Above and beyond.Clean environment, and very pleasant staff.I look forward (pun intended) to years of continuing eye care with R.M.E.C.

Terrible experiences numerous times. Ordered glasses for my daughter came wrong 3xs and they treated us like we made the mistake. Tried calling to schedule appointment left 3 messages never received a call back!! Terrible customer service!!

My eyeglass frames broke yesterday on Easter, so I was stuck using an old pair of glasses with an old prescription that was basically slightly better than not having glasses. Im leaving on vacation tomorrow, so I was desperate. James in the optical shop was able to find a fashionable pair of frames to work with my lenses for a reasonable price. I was in and out so quickly that my coffee at home was still warm. James saved the day and my vacation. THANK YOU!!!
