Please beware. Prices are subject to change by volunteers. My experience was not so positive. When looking to purchase tiles, I was unaware that prices were posted. I asked a volunteer what the price was. She looked up item on google and said the item must have slipped through. What was supposed to be a $10 purchase for tiles was changed to $40. I proceeded to speak to the manager regarding the situation. Stating that since price was posted, I did not feel it was right for them to change the price. It was definitely their error, and I asked for them to honor the original price. I was totally gaslighted by the management. I was treated as though I was the problem. I felt as though I was treated like a thief. In the past, I have served on the marketing committee for Habitat for Humanities, and I am happy I had the opportunity to do so. However, my recommendation would be to shop the Dayton Restore. It is cleaner, better organized and well lit.
Should be a 5 star i love this store but sometimes they dont have what i need
I had no idea any store like this existed. Its like a dream for someone like me who wants to be able to do home repairs and updates on their own: not only is nearly anything needed for any sort of home project available here, its also at a cost that makes such projects possible. Thank you so much to Habitat for Humanity for such a wonderful resource. Im so grateful it happens to be so close to my home!
To high price can buy new for lower prices
Great place to find just about anything at bargain prices! People there very kind and helpful!
Clean, well stocked store. Very good selection.
Like being able to find that one odd piece needed at good prices
Always neat to shop around . Hubby bought putty knives, work gloves, and 5/16 th taps . I found 4 light globes that match my light fixture so I have a duties project .
Love this place. Stop in once a week- you never know what treasures you will find!
All kinds of deals and very friendly helpful employees
Interesting place. More items there than I expected. Worth visiting.
Found a set of doors i had been looking for at a great price.
They have just about anything you can think of.
I recently went inside but wasnt there long. That stuff should be free... everything looked dirty and all stained up, even one of the directors local said same thing upon looking. Also...if a disabled person cannot drive, restore says o well...we dont deliver because we have no truck or guys. Not true!! If they cant deliver then why do they pick up donated furniture from homes!! Because they want to keep their business is why. Many didnt know they pickup. I have seizures cannot drive and they said no delivery.
I really like this place everybody is so nice to me And I have many thing
Place was filthy and a huge fire hazard
They have friendly staff and anything you could possibly need for home repair very reasonably priced.
You never know what you will find here, but the prices are always good.
Best restore store. i find one wherever i go. florida michigan Louisville Lexington cleveland dayton Springfield bellefontaine sandusky marion cinci. etc. ours in troy is the BEST!!!. selection amount of donations price friendly. clean helpful. NO negatives. organized. great place. miami and shelby county are fortunate to have such a great store
Very clean and organized
Great place to find someone elses projects that arent of use to them anymore. Good prices and great staff.
Actually me and my husband have bought a lot of things from The ReStore in Troy they have wonderful prices and when were looking for things we find things that we can use in our home saves a lot of money then going to any other place well go back again
Love this place! Always new items to find.
Excellent prices that support a great cause. Nice assortment of tile, flooring and house hold items.
Great Service and reasonable prices for all my home repairs
Nice place that is sort of similar to a Goodwill store meaning stopping in frequently is the best way to find nice treasures.
Im redoing an old house. Great place to find good deal.
Love this store. We go at least once a week. Always find good deals. And its for a good cause. The staff in Troy is incredible!
Stroll through this place & discover how much you can find
I was going to visit this store but I am handicap and parking is so far away from the door. Maybe my daughter can go with me and drop me off at the door, then park.
Hit or miss. Sometimes they have what youre looking for and sometimes not....
Nice layout and nicely organized.
I have found a lot of stuff here
Love this place. Always a bargain and always friendly folks working. New items each day
Found just what we needed and at a great savings
Love shopping their you never know what you will find. Prices are great for those on a budget. The day I went their were two men working and they were absolutely wonderful. So helpful and kind made my experience phenomenal.
Prices are to high for the quality. Even being used the prices are to much, things are so scratched up and scarred, you would have to refinish them.
This is a great place to shop for used (and some new) house goods. They have doors, tile, some furniture, cabinets, screws and nails, paint and a bunch more. You never know what you will find. Plus, you help Habitat for Humanity
Mostly junk and overpriced junk at thay.
Good prices and you never know what youll find
Not the store I was expecting.
Lots of stuff, just depends on what you are looking for.
The store was clean and cheerful. The volunteer running the register was rude.We wont be back
Picked up a Piano here. Staff up front told us where to go but the staff in the back helping us load the piano were rude. They acted like my wife couldnt back a trailer up (ironically she does it at work almost every day) We brought 2 other people to help and they talked to us like idiots because we are young. Acted like it was stupid that we wanted to lift the small piano into the trailer. Then when we got home my sister-in-laws boyfriend and I unloaded it ourselves easily and even carried it up the steps into the house. Ladies up front seemed nice but just didnt appreciate the older gentlemen in the back being rude to us. If we were to ever get something else from there Ill make sure to tell them we can handle it and they can go back inside.
A very neat home store with an ever changing variety of used (and sometimes new) items.
Friendly and helpful staff! Lots of stuff to pick through! Store clean, and pretty well organized!
If you like old used stuff this place is for you which why we liked it and will be going back weekly just to see what stuff they get in.
Friendly staff, amazing prices and a great cause. Their recycled paint is a game changer.
Love shopping here! They always have great prices!
Very nice place to have available told them this stuff was for clean up from tornado they gave us 50% off what a miracle
Dont waste your time. Their prices are absolutely outrageous compared to other ReStores.
Not happy today. My husband and I can go to the Restore only on Saturdays together. We got a late start, but we were there by 3:15. We had 2 isles left to look down and they turned all the lights out on us at 3:50. I understand the job is voluntary, but really?
Great place to get things needed for home repair and improvements.
Lots of items from furniture to small hardware. Clean surroundings. Friendly staffAll funds go towards building homes for deserving families.
So much here...building supplies, furniture, cabinets, plumbing, sinks and faucets, lighting, tile and hardware
I am so surprised at the prices in the restore store! I was standing in front of the store waiting to cross the street, and a lady came up and said she has never seen prices so high in a restore store! I had to agree with her, I know the money is for a good cause! But good grief some of its a bit ridiculous! 😠
Pretty confident the Troy location is in business with Trojan New and Used Appliances around the corner. Theres NEVER any appliances IN THIS LOCATION, I believe Trojan is buying them and reselling them all as soon as they hit the floor at HH. Raising up the prices to to 600/700 per appliance. When I was in HH, a worker recommended I go to Trojan and look. The appliance section at HH is BARE.. When I got to Trojan they were in the process of changing out a dirty fridge they just got. Its a scam.
I love this place - unique items, usually reasonable prices & I especially love their monthly sale (changes colors each month for savings)!
They have a little bit of everything. They have new inventory every time I visit.
Worth a visit ... lots of stuff ... some visits are better than others depending on what is in stock
Friendly, helpful staff, great finds, reasonable prices
Great store! They have a little of everything, check them out before heading to Lowes because you can get a lot of what you need much cheaper. It also helps a good cause!
Very friendly sstaff. Some prices really good, some way too high. But great store overall.
Always an adventure.
I found a few items at the habitat store but I wasnt overly impressed with it.
Good place to find stuff to fix up your house for a decent price, but some of the furniture is kinda pricey.
Cool place full of things to repurpose. A bit pricey on some items
Good place to get Home stuff if needed
This place is great especially for the fixers that does there own home repair
If you need something and this place has it you are able to get it at reasonable prices here
Some things were just a hair pricey, but great Selection
Awesome store with great prices! Most items look brand new ! I would say this store is like goodwill but for the home only! You can find all sorts of items to remd, decorate, furnish, etc.
Be careful as not all of their items are worth the value. I purchase two decent condition toilets from them for around south of $90 tax included, and still had to purchase universal ring/flush kits... Well, turn-out I could get brand-new higher quality push-button ADA-approved toilets from Menards at around 2/3rds the price and still got 11% off as it was a sale weekend, plus another 3% from my CC company BOA just by using their CC - thats 14% off an item at Menards that was already at a bargain price. Hence, do yourself a favor and shop around... I have since never returned to the Habitat has I have figured that the majority of their items are rather pricey for being used so youre better-off buying new...
Not bad all and all. The heater I bought didnt work. There some good stuff lots of doors and windows.
Wont even answer the phone
Love this store if youre fixing your house! everyone should go there once
Very helpful, pleasant employees and they have everything you could possibly need for home repair or replacement, DIFFENTLY worth the visit.
Good deals on used items
Great value on small project around the house.
Lots of items, just not what I needed at this time.
Very friendly and easy to find things
Bit over priced imo (furniture). Would be great for a handy person imo.
This one in Troy is amazing thats all I can say...I buy a lot from here
Great prices on old stuff. Lots of diamonds in the rough.
This.place is a God send!
Good prices.. And some unique finds
You can always find something you need here, inexpensive
Very friendly staff! Lots to choose from. You could spend a lot of time here looking through everything. Certain items are more expensive than they should be, but it IS for a good cause!
Lots of necessary items ...used...at cheaper prices
Great place to find items to rehab.
Has a large selection of used cabinets, furniture, and lighting. there is a little bit of everything for the person remodeling their home or trying to repair something.
Very helpful and kind staff. Well organized and good prices
Awesome! Great place!
Always find what I need and usually some stuff I dont too. Dave is the best volunteer they have, love him!!
I love letting my imagination go wild with re-using or repurposing items. Great when needing scraps of wood, doors, bolts, tile, etc.
After searching for help, which was unusual, the employeeS....didnt seem to going above to help. Literally finally ran into a group of 5 employees and they just werent helpful. They were out of stock and unwilling to see what we could do so that I could get what o was looking for....disappointment
