This is a nice little store. Not to many around in Michigan anymore. Some stuff is a bit pricey but theres always great finds here. And the staff is always friendly and helpful.

They have a great selection of movies and TV shows to pick from. They also have wonderful music from rock to Christian ✝️. Posters, headphones, etc. I love how they help by looking items up.

Wonderfully polite and helpful staff. One of the team members, Emily, helped me find everything I was looking for. The manager, Breanna, who rung me up, was also very helpful and was very knowledgeable about movies and film! They were able to make some very good suggestions, some of which I may not have cared for, but I certainly did find plenty of new things to like that I would not have checked out otherwise.

Has lots of physical CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray of titles I havent seen in years. Along with a hodgepodge of treats, merch, and products.

Looks like they are dying. They stock Nothing any more. People arent buying DVDs and then trading them in anymore I guess. Early days I started a very nice collection going to FYE. You cant even order anything through them anymore.

I will always love FYE because they are just about the only place you can get physical media and they have almost anything youre looking for! Would have given 5 stars bit the prices are a high and thats my only knock on it!

This place is a waste of time, the inventory sucks, they had nothing, everything in the store is so old.

Except for them only letting certain amount of people In The store..my husband wont wait for lines and we shop by looking. And taking our time. No one rushed us but still. Covid or not I would of walked away without buying what I did if the store was a line out front.

Great place for DVDs.

Placed an online order over an hour in advance wasnt ready, had to go in to get it, didnt ask for proof of identity. This program leaves a lot to be desired

Not like it once was you could get new CDs, and DVDs there now their selling used products. A 2nd hand store now practically.

Its one of the last few still around. But its a VERY EXPENSIVE store. But the staff is always very nice. Very sweet and helpful. They do carry unique items like international items, anime, unique candy, ramune soda, etc. Usually pretty organized and they do have good tshirt sales.

First time at this one I love FYE. I love making my own CDs I can put what songs I want on there so I know I can listen to the whole CD plus they have all kind of cool gadgets and stuff so its definitely a good thing for me so go support them always a great to visit when I go always. Keep up the good work.

Wayyyyy overpriced and they didnt have a large enough selection of gospel music....people do listen to more than just rap music.

As a music lover my 1st choice was Harmony House. Later mall walking I saw a Mac Mall, and Lakeside locations where the CD selection was awesome. One morning I took a trip out to Oakland Mall and while walking there I ran into them st that location also.

Closed yet says open at 10 am yet lights are on and gate up and no one answers the phone.

I love this store They have movies ..music...dolls...t shirts anything you need having to do with media. The even sell living dead dolls. My personal favorite.

The vinyl section is small, it needs restocking.

What an awesome selection and collection of DVD movies CD music not to mention plenty of outstanding merchandise and swag. The gentleman that helps me and check me out got me signed up for the FYE membership card and I was very pleased and happy to see the low prices and the quality movies in which I purchased from this location at the Oakland Mall

Always a good selection of movies, tv shows and music at reasonable-to-super cheap prices! So many pop culture knick knacks and snacks to splurge on, too. They have T-shirts w/all the bands/movies & tv shows you like, usually on sale.

I was there and its not like it used to be. Their rap section isnt what it used to be. Maybe I needed more time to explore the rap and r&b sectipns more.

Miss the westland mall store. Use to live in Royal Oak and troy. Now were back in westland but already knew the fye store have been closed for awhile. Just giving 5 stars because I use to be a fye employee. And never had any problems with the old Royal store or this one.

Fun store with lots of pop culture items. My complaint is with the rewards program. You shouldnt have to pay to be a member. Got all the way thru the process of joining at the store, and then the employee tells me only the first 30 days is free. Ridiculous.

Real good selection of cds movies and vinyl. I mainly go for the anime since their selection tends to be better then most places around here. Its a bit pricey but that tends to be the case every where with anime
