I am looking to rent a dolly to take treadmill upstairs. And my search ends after visiting U-Haul. They have a perfect dolly to take things upstairs.

I rented a furniture dolly online but when I picked up the truck, the store manager said he hadnt seen dollys for more than a month and there wasnt one available. I had to buy one. If accessories are not available, dont offer them in the website.

Made appointment and prepaid for purchase installation of hitch at 12:30 told on arrival that I had to wait 2 hours at least. Find somewhere else to buy and install your hitch if you value your time. Scheduling appointments mean nothing to these people. Attitude is oh well … terrible customer service.

I would not recommend U-haul for installing a hitch if you have purchased the part elsewhere. When I called for scheduling the appointment the employee was not able to quote the cost of installation although the website show the labor fee for installation in that particular car - no drill - is $35.He just mentioned the hourly labor rate and a premium for job done on Saturday.I believe this is not honest. A shop that install hitches should be able to properly assess the labor cost for a job.I chose another shop and the work was done professionally for a flat rate in less then one hour.

So yeah, these guys are very rude. I had an appointment to have a hitch installed on my SUV. They were unable to do it because there was a broken screw where they needed to install the hitch. Not their fault, but the way they treated me was. The installer talked over me when he wasnt ignoring me. He could see I was in a bit of a panic being as we needed to move out of town soon. Im just gonna go ahead and say that Im a black woman and I was treated like I wasnt worthy of his time, patience, or attention until my husband who happens to be white, and noticed how they were all treating me, came and stood behind me. Only then did the guy start showing some degree of respect. Also, all the guys there were lazy, unwilling to help me, and kept passing the buck to the next lazy guy. Go somewhere else. If they cant treat EVERY customer with dignity, respect, and courtesy then you shouldnt give them your business either.
