Both Shawn and Rachel were professional in setting us up for rentals of their Extreme snowmobiles. This type of equipment is exhilarating! BRAAPP!! BRAAPP!! Had a great adventure with my girlfriend renting a tandem snowmobile with through this business. Owner was knowledgeable of local trails, helping us to find snow in the midst of the April melt. Plenty of safety gear provided, showing the owner’s care for our well-being. Excellence points for the beautiful dog, and wide selection of other vehicles for summer!

Ok, if you are wanting a cool snow experience from a wild couple you have to rent from Rachael and Shawn! These two are great people that are entertaining and funny.We rented two Razors with snow tracks and they took great care of us and explained everything. Shawn sent us to Mount Watson and the view at the top of Lake Tahoe was amazing.We had a mechanical issue and he walked us through fixing it and even came out to the trail to help us!Highly recommend these guys if you want a fun and exciting trip!

We felt ripped off as the owner asked us to pay $3,600 dollars claiming that we damaged the ATV. Later, the owner threatened to charge us $4800 unless we gave them a couple of 5-star reviews. I sincerely warn you not to go to this place.I will never forget Shawn’s local ruffian’s face when he talked about the money we owe him with a wrench in hand. He got copies of our drivers license. I am only brave enough to post this since I have moved out to US.

I was going to rent the ATV for the Weekend, but after I read the reviews and feed backs from the owner, Ill stay away from this company. Ill not take any chances evan if only 50% of the negative reviews are true.

I’ve been renting snowmobiles from Shawn for almost 5 years now and he’s an honest straight shooter. Past 4 years have been great, sleds always ran perfect. Today we had 2 of the 4 sleds had performance issues while we were on the trails. We came back, told Shawn and he gave us back $1,000 for the trouble we had. The guy literally gave us half our money back without hesitation, I didn’t even have to ask him for money back, he just came out and gave it back to us. Stand up guy and stand up business. If you’re looking for an epic time, rent some sleds from this company and shred up Jackson Meadows!

I had an awesome experience riding their raptor 660r quad. The track has both easy and challenging options. It was also a nice workout.

I liked Shawn on the first phone call. I respected that he made sure I understood the type of machine I was renting. I told him I grew up on snowmobiles in Minnesota. I then earned the nickname Ditch banger, proudly, lol. Then, the morning of the ride Shawn went over all the safety measures, rules of the trail and good once over of the snowmobiles. He had all the safety gear we could use right there. He also told us of a couple places we could ride them. We had an EPIC time!!! The machines were in good working condition too. The gauges lied tho, I know I was doing 80 mph not 61. Lol No breakdowns! This older gal went out and RIPPED it up! One of the best times Ive ever had! I look forward to another great outdoor adventure in Truckee! Shawn, thanks for it all! You made this older gal pretty damn happy!!! It was definitely Rad! Ill get someone to help me get pics on here as soon as we get them put together. Wow, just EPIC!

Was going to spend 4000$ including deposit on a SxS rental but the owner cursed me out for switching from a dirt bike rental to the SxS over 24 hours beforehand. RUDE PEOPLE, TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!

Truly great experience! rented 2 snowmobiles, Ive been riding bikes my whole life and this has been one of the most memorable experiences I had. will repeat for sure.

A few months ago I wanted to ride a smaller and lighter bike then the one I have. He had several different options, with some discussion we came to conclude that the kx100 would be best to try out. I can say the whole time I was smiling out in prosser. He’s got a “colorful way” of explaining things, but I feel like that’s because most people do not realize the risk that they are putting into riding these machines. I did break the fork rock guard, which understanding their liability waivers and rental agreements I did end up paying for. Completely fair, and had such an epic time. Will be renting from Adrenaline Connection again!

If I could rate this company 0, I would do it !worst guy to deal with ever Swans,He was threatening my son and His grandmother,He never rented any snowmobile to then and charged their card 1050 for cancelation fee, but our card didnt go thru for the security deposit witch was 3500,Im LAPD officer and Hes name is in a wait list for him to go arrested. Dont recommend never renting anything from this company or this aggressive man,If you do rent anything and have a bad experience, call 911 and make your report to help this situation.

Im interested in renting snow mobiles and every other review I read about Shawn makes it very clear he overcharges for repair when clients claim they didn’t do damage. His responses. Are terrible to people. I haven’t seen 1 yet where he admits any fault only blames his customers.

Be careful!!!Shawn is very aggressive man. We rented snowmobiles for a good pastime, we arrived in a good mood, but the mood immediately worsened after meeting with Shawn. When he was instructing, he only yelled at us instead of calmly explaining all the nuances. Whatever, we went on our trip on snowmobiles, and successfully, without incident, returned back where Shawn met us. Shawn checked the snowmobiles, and he said that everything was fine. But a few months later it was not all as fine as he said. A couple of months later, he charged money, and explained that we returned snowmobiles, they were broken. Its lie!!!!!Shawn is the con!

Outstanding experience. Haven’t ridden a snow machine in 20 years, but these guys made a great trip for us despite sparse snow at lower elevations. We wanted a 4-hour exploration on and off trail but no prior experience here. Shawn found a buddy, Josh, to join us as a coach on technique and local trail knowledge. Josh did a great job, especially helpful digging this 68 year old out when I augured in a few times. The $6,000 upfront deposit charged on my credit card was intimidating, but also understandable considering their risks of machine damage. Within an hour after we returned the snowmobiles intact, they reversed the deposit charge. Great rental suits, boots etc. and machines are kept in tip-top condition. I would recommend Adrenaline to anyone healthy, from elderly but able to young kids riding with parents.

Attention!If you never have a deal with a con man, you are on the right way! Guys, be careful with Adrenaline Connection and with Shawn. He makes his business very dirty and unruly.We rented a couple of snowmobiles and returned them to the owner at the time exactly we discussed. Shawn checked all the machines and stated that they all ok. A few weeks later, we received a call from Shawn. He was very aggressive. He said that all rented machines were damaged and he already charged us $1750. All machines were undamaged and in excellent condition. So, we faced with a con man Shawn who want to make and get money from the air. Guys, be very attentive with that con man Shawn. After my review, of course, hell say that never see me before or I never rented a snowmobile. He thinks that it is a good way to deny everything.

Snowmobiles itself and overall experience were as expected. Great time and great machines. However, non negotiated charge appeared on the credit card shortly after the rent. Snowmobiles returned in excellent condition without any damage that was claimed days after.

Great fun. Great time. tool my family up and had just a wonderful time. Looking forward to going back next year.

!!!ATTENTION!!! Con man!!!We took in rent a couple of machines and returned it. The owner inspected the machines and accepted it. A couple of days after, as he said, he defined some issues with the machines. After he blamed me that I personally hit the snowmobile, I understand that Shawn is a con man because that was absolutely untrue. My assumptions were confirmed after I read other comments. Furthermore, Im not responsible for any damages as soon as my agreement ends and the machines were inspected and accepted by the owner because; otherwise, it doesnt make any sense. Based on his statement, he can charge me anytime even after a couple of months defining some issues after the machines were rent a lot of times.Do not deal with this con man!!!

I brought my 12 year old son up to ride a snow machine and I was going to ride a separate machine. Within 20 minutes my son didnt want to continue on the adventure at all. My mistake was not taking him with me before expecting him to enjoy riding by himself. Shawn offered me a credit and I could use the credit in the summer if I preferred.In August I came up and used the credit with a friend and we rode ATVs.It was a BLAST!!I truly appreciated Shawns willingness to let me have a full credit for later.5 STARS

We rented 2 side by sides and a quad today. They got us set up last minute and were super nice and easy going. Owners and staff all great people. I highly recommend people try them out! They are a blast to drive!!!! We cruised around Prosser dam / Boca area and everything went great. Great equipment and service! We will be back!Ken McGrath

This place absolutely made our vacation! We rented 3 snowmobiles and 1 razor with tracks on Christmas Eve of 2017 and boy did we get more than our moneys worth. Shawn and Eric were both incredibly professional and accommodating. These guys know their business. We snapped off pictures of some of the most beautiful snow covered landscapes you could ever imagine, all well experiencing some of the most adrenaline packed rides of our life! We absolutely plan on revisiting them for another adventure packed vacation in the near future. These guys are top notch!

I went out from Reno w/ my wife and my brother who was visiting from Ohio not knowing what to expect. Had a great time! Awesome sight seeing experience that you could never do while having so much fun!

Adrenaline provided an exceptional experience. They are conveniently located with access to some amazing terrain and views that was both a blast for our experienced drivers and equally as fun for the novice drivers in our group! It was 75 degrees when we were there last week, but we were able to ride all the way up to the snow line for breath taking views and a snowball fight in shorts and T-Shirts!!. Cant wait to go back in the winter and plow through fresh snow on their tracked machines!

Had an absolute blast with Adrenaline Connection. We originally were in town looking to rent mountain bikes, but when that fell through we had to find something to do instead. We called a few ATV rental or buggy rental places in Truckee and Lake Tahoe and had a hard time getting a hold of someone. When we called Adrenaline Connection, they were super prompt, informative and were able to quickly turn around a rented buggy for us for that afternoon, saving our day.Its not like one of those boring tours you go on where you are limited by the guide and there are a ton of restrictions. They let you have fun, take you up to the trails and let you loose to do what you please.The guys who run it are super helpful, awesome guys who get excited at you having fun and want to make sure you have a great experience. Definitely would consider them the best ATV or buggy rental place in Truckee and Lake Tahoe.

They will set you up with everything you need including instruction. We had a great time on the Polaris Rzrs this past summer and cant wait to go back for the snowmobile season! They are very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and will definitely point you to the best places to go ride.

We wanted to rent 2 Rzr’s at the last minute. We took a flyer and called adrenaline Connection. The owner Sean couldn’t have been a better dude from the start. My brother in law and I took are kids (youngest 2.5) and Sean was great with them. His equipment was new and well maintained. Everybody in his outfit was great. If you’re looking for an amazing time, look no further

Shawn and his team at Adrenaline Connection have the most competitive prices out of 4-5 rental places I was looking at. They did everything they could do to ensure that my family’s snowmobiling experience was the best it could be. They’re a bunch of hard working and honest guys and I’m definitely giving them my business everytime I come back to Truckee.

Do not go if the owner does not offer an insurance to you that covers both your safety and damages to the vehicle. After we returned the vehicle we were charged $3000+ since the owner Shawn claimed that we damaged the vehicle. There was a scratch on the bottom and we didn’t know when it happened. Shawn repaired the car “himself” and claimed that it cost $3000+, deducted from our deposits. He claimed a higher price and negotiated with us on the price. He also claimed that when the car was damaged, the persons on the car were under severe security concerns. None of these were communicated beforehand and the owner explicitly refused to offer us an insurance when we asked for one before the trip. Please be super cautious before you go.

At the beginning the owner very emotionally talked about how to ride. After a week after we returned the motorcycles, he withdrew another $ 1,700 from credit card on the pretext that the snowmobiles were in an accident, but its not. I was tried to figure this out over the phone, but not successfully, so he shouted inappropriate words on the phone. I opened a case against him. I advise you to refrain from dealing with him, as it is clear that a person is a fraudster.

BE CAREFUL “sleazy fraudster”!!!!!!!Do not rent a snowmobiles from this company!The owner is a dishonorable and lying man.My husband debit card gets extra charged. HE and HIS girlfriend are crooks!!!!!!!!!!!After riding they are checked all the snowmobiles and accepted them in excellent condition after we left they extra charged us explaining that all the snowmobiles cars were damaged but that was not true.

Needed my carbs tuned and fixed up. Helped me tow my bike and got her fixed up overnight. Went over all the details to help me service it in the future and gave me tips for aftermarket parts and other upgrades I can do. Extremely helpful, friendly, speedy, hard working, and professional straightforward service. These guys are the best and would be my go to in the Truckee area if I wasnt moving. Either way, glad to be on the road and super thankful. Would recommend anytime.

Amazing selection of fast toys and great customer service. If you need any of your motorcycles, a.t.v.s or offroad vehicles fixed this is the place. They also rent some of the best adrenaline pounding equipment available for a reasonable price! We will definitely be going back there again!

August 2017I was on a road trip from Boulder, Colorado on my 2003 Bonneville T100 when I noticed oil was spraying from where the oil cap now wasnt. I pulled it to the side of the road in Truckee and saw the mess this made. I called them to see if they could get the bike and get it cleaned up. They picked it up later that afternoon. The next morning Shawn called to let me know it was ready. I went to the shop and was pleased to see it was now squeaky clean with a new cap I had shipped in overnight. I was now back on the road.Thanks Shawn

Sincere WARNING, do not use AdrenalineConnection. Unprofessional and unsafe. Shawn during the safety check used the F*#K word as many times as most people say and / the. Rude and OFFENSIVE. We are seasoned ATV and Razor owners, have gone on tours all over the US for years. After the very colorful safety lecture, I asked for a trail mail, dont have one was Shawns response. Told him we are tourists to the area, questioned maybe getting lost he said, drop a pin.I read the two page check list. Shawn said it was necessary because so many people have tried to screw him. If I had been aware of the tail conditions (or lack of true trails), no trail map or trail markings I would have not signed the form. I did sign, we had driven almost an hour from Incline Village, family flew in from three states, just did not want to disappoint. Also, we were told when we made the reservation the day before that because they have a six day cancelation period once we booked, we were committed for the $ 900.00 charge. Just too much money to throw away.The trails were unmarked and ungroomed. The ability to make this ride without some kind of normal wear and tear would be difficult.About 30 mins into the trip we returned to the base camp of operation to ask about trails and get some advice. The only person there was a mechanic, nice guy. He said he was new and did not know anything about the trail locations. He offered to call Shawn, no help.Our family is very respectful of property not at all careless. We ar being CHEATED with a $ 413.00 repair bill in addition to the over $ 900.00 we spent on the rental. The vehicles were not driven hard. If AdrenalineConnection is selling ATV adventures there is at least an implied expectation there are trails. Shawn even encouraged us to go off trails for a more exciting ride. I cant imagine the repair bills he would have stuck us with had we followed his direction.After calls and emails Shawns last arrogant comment, we look forward to your 1 Star review and wish you the very best. Shawn I hope I met your expectations for a bad review, you sure did not meet ours.Maybe AdrenalineConnection should spend more time grooming trails rather than growing marijuana in pots outside the office. Again, rude, offensive, unprofessional and UNSAFE for clients.

The equipment we rented broke on the trail. Owner Shawn accused us of misuse ( belt broke under normal and proper operation). We were riding for one hour and he charged full $450 and $375 on the top of this threatening to add charge of $1000 for towing. He gave us a ride out of the mountains on the snowmobile but then told us we should have walked. Who does that? Nasty texts to follow from him. He worked on this machine just before we rented and told me it was a new belt he had just installed. We never left trail and told him that we did not even push this equipment ( 52 and 58 yr old guys ).Be aware that they make You sign 3 pages of exceptions and then use those against almost $3000 deposit. Bad company, greedy owner and badly maintained equipment.Here is the text from Shawn letting me know that instead refunding most of the fee as promised face to face he charged full amount and repairs...“ I will be deducting the $375 from the deposit amount to replace it. If i was not onsite at the time, you and joe would have been walking out and would have incurred the additional $1000 charge. ” Please be aware as they ask to sign three pages of small text covering their dishonest business approach. Buyer beware!!!
