This store was more like a market almost reminding me of a time capsule.No really hear me out, the fresh market side is perfectly stocked and all the fresh goods are in pristine condition almost farm fresh. and the displays are eye-catching and inviting. The grocery side of the store was well maintained stocked and zoned. It has to be one of the most refreshing stores I have walked into in years. The best way I can explain it is food quality of a market and the organic selection of a normal big box store. The past perfectly meets the future in this RALEYS O-N-E market

Perhaps the greatest grocery store of all time. This store is so nice you could take a date to it. Balcony seating area to eat and do work, with a bar and an outdoor terrace. Power outlets and comfy chairs and little tables. Solid ready-to-eat food sold right below. Great quality food - not a ton of junk. Only downside is the pop music being played. Would love to hear something still easily digestible by the masses, but with a finer taste. Still my favorite grocery store ever.

This is one of the nicest grocery stores Ive been in. It is very clean and the layout feel nice and airy. They have a lounge and bar upstairs that you can sit, work, or hang out. Also a patio on the second floor too. The restrooms were very clean.

Full LUX grocery store. Its a little piece of Rodeo Drive. Make sure you arrive in at least a G-Wagon. They even have live music to serenaded you as you shop for $25 per pound beef!

The new building is beautiful and the variety will eliminate the need to go deeper into truckee or all the way to kings beach!

I only went in for strawberries, blueberries and bean sprouts. I bought coffee too as I was trying to get my $5.00 reward for signing up. I did have 25.00 before tax. Never got the reward. Cryptic rules? Lovely but rather expensive store.

Very similar to a whole foods of the Amazon era. Almost everything comes in an organic version. Very big store. Way better than Safeway in terms of the shopping experience. Well stocked and the staff seem happy.

Love the pizza from the deli. Also love the bar upstairs! Good selection of beer and wine. Excellent value.

Pros: good priced produce, spices, some other sale items. You can also check raleys website to see whats on sale / in stock this week.Cons: almost too big of a store, with the signs being hard to read quickly. I was unable to find pizza sauce. I would appreciate if Raley’s had more coverage with their own brand of products, as I’m always looking for the cheapest version.

Very limited selections. Only the most expensive brands. If you are invested in favorite brands of would like competitive prices this isnt your store. Otherwise the door is clean, attractive and open to 11

I ordered 3 Açaí bowls with peanut butter only. I asked if they could layer it. That’s all I asked for. Then I saw that they were putting a bunch of other stuff. I said something and politely asked if those were my bowls. The lady said yes with an attitude. So I brushed it off. Maybe she’s having a bad day whatever. Then I proceeded to say that I only asked for peanut butter and acai. She had an attitude and rolled her eyes at me. I was taken a back again I brushed it off whatever it’s fines no big deal as long as my order is right it’s okay. I finally got the bowls and she did a half a** job and the bowls are only filled half way. Honestly worst experience I’ve had. I said thank you and she rolled her eyes again and walked away. I work at a grocery store I get it. Never complained before, but the employee had a huge attitude. It’s a shame because I come here all the time.

A little background. I worked for Raleys for almost 10 years and the one thing we would pride ourselves on was our costumer service. However, today I was very disappointed while shopping in your Truckee location. The two younger girls working behind the juice/smoothie counter not only had attitude while helping me and my family but made me feel like maybe I shouldn’t be drinking my almost 8 dollar fresh pressed juice. These girls do not represent the “F.A.M.I.L.Y” I used to work for. Once they knew that I was a previous employee their demeanor changed, but I’m sure that’s not the case for other customers shopping in your store.

Sometimes in business you get lucky, and as luck would have it this Raleys opened in the ideal location at the ideal time for the Truckee-Tahoe community: a solid three months after COVID led thousands to a permanent migration to the area.And this Raleys clearly fills a niche that the massive Safeway and the smaller Save Mart and Grocery Outlet do not. And moreover will curb the number of locals regularly heading to Reno for Whole Foods and Trader Joes.In particular, the curation of the wine / beer / spirits selection stands out. And the alcohol prices are quite reasonable when compared with the other leading retailers -- both in Reno and the Truckee/Tahoe areas. Plus the upstairs bar looks cozy and has interesting seating. Its the sort of store you can browse unhurried in.Its a challenge to open a massive retail space in this new environment and based on anecdotal evidence from its opening days they absolutely succeeded.

This is great grocery store. Its very similar to a Whole Foods in the type of groceries they offer. What really makes it stand out, is the atmosphere and the service. The employees here definitely add a higher level of service. Also, the beef, produce and deli selections are excellent. The 🍕 they make is the Best in Truckee and they also have the best Ice Cream selection in town. A truly cultivated store, geared for a higher-end shopper.

I think Raleys is trying too hard to mimic Whole Foods here. I like the feel and quality of the items at this store, but I found the lack of common name brands and items pretty off-putting (like I do with Whole Foods). No Heinz ketchup, no normal medicines like Claritin (or even their generic equivalents), among others.

Beautiful new store, trying to hard to copy Whole Foods, can’t by a coke ?Going back to Safeway, better prices anyway. I gave them a shot, I wouldn’t waste my time and money.

Asked for ketchup and the sandwich maker said if I wanted ketchup I’d have to buy an entire bottle from the shelf.

This is a nice store, but just a little too fancy-pants. Everything is premium, no products for the proles. Didnt even see Raleys store brand items. Plenty of booze though.

Great craft beer selection! Kind of pricey.

I went to the new Raleys after the remodel in El Dorado Hills this morning all excited to see the amazing new changes. The store looks beautiful everybody seem to be cheerful but..,they don’t carry 75% of the brands that they used to carry. Things that would be pretty basic for some families are no longer available and only organic produce. That’s great for me but my family doesn’t necessarily eat that way. For me it will become a specialty store not an every day grocery store. They don’t carry pillsbury cake mix, cool whip, Diet Coke, and hardly any Normal brands. Prices took a big jump too. They are trying to be a Whole Foods and missed the opportunity to be a great local grocery store that serves the El Dorado Hills community at large. Very disappointed. Nugget and Safeway will become my new store. Sorry Raley’s.

It is not a Whole foods, but maybe its for the best. I order on line and its super convenient to come and pick up my order. They have a good selection of good quality foods and personal shoppers make a very good choices in picking up a good produce. Its a good timing also to open this store in Truckee.

I was excited to get a fresh juice. I ordered a large radical roots that had apple juice included. I was surprised to see apple juice poured from a container into the juicer. When I asked about it I was told apples are too expensive to juice and the juice they used was organic.I was surprised with that poor response. I paid $8 and overall the juice was meh.I’ll continue to shop at new moon the local established store. Prices are lower and quality is higher. Staff is friendlier too.

Same raleys products without main stay items so you need to hit safeway or save mart anyways. Same raleys deli. Same raleys quality. New name. Gouged pricing. Waste of space.

Employees need to be retrained. In this era of COVID-19 employees need to maintain distance. Used the self checkout and machine wouldn’t scan. No employee around to assist. When she finally came she stood right next to me. 2 more items didn’t scan and had to find another employee ... same thing happened. They need to rethink the self checkout. Ask people to step away or create some kind of barrier. Otherwise the store is nice and looks like the place to buy fish and produce in Truckee.

I placed an order online and picked up at the curb side. We are very happy to have this option. They have a lot of vegetables that you wont find in Safeway. However, the personal shopper only found 70% of products on my order, but most of the fruits we had were great. I guess this place is only opened for about a month and people are still learning. Maybe well try to shop inside some time soon.

Applaud the healthier concept than the typical Raleys Market. Great fresh selection of veggies, decent carnage and fish with healthier alternatives. The store is fairly new at about 4 mos. One thing, I was unable to find artisanal cheese eg Humboldt Fog or a nice Gouda.

While I wish this store was an actual Whole Foods, its similar enough! So glad to finally have an alternative to Safeway in the area. They seem to still be working on training with some employees, but to be expected for a new store in the middle of a pandemic. Beats Safeway for fresh, healthy food choices, hands down! Go! Lets make sure they thrive and stay open for the long haul.

This is an organic, only foods that are good for you store. So the common necessities used in most households are missing. Great staff and very helpful but I need Crisco, Lucky Charms, and 409 cleaner.

4th of July fail... Went to get briquettes. Nope. The fire ban? But all other stores yes.

They only sell premium sodas aka zevia bubbly and la croix. None of that average stuff like pepsi, coke sprite ect. Very disappointing

This store is great for a quick grocery run. But I would not recommend this store for a big grocery run. Otherwise they have a huge selection of alcohol and different variety of cheese. I could very well spend a few hours there with all of the things they have to do there.

Love this store. Still family owned and has the healthy foods our family eats. Similar to While foods. Price reflects what I usually pay for same or similar products

Probably the cleanest, most well organized, and aesthetic grocery store Ive ever been to. I could film a movie here. Thats how perfect it was!

I didnt like this store. It was more expensive than Safeway or Savemart, they had a huge selection of stuff that Id never buy. One product was literally called Mush.They didnt carry the local brands I buy, like Nevada Black coffee. Although they did have 50/50 brewing. The owner of 50/50 has been known to abuse her political power though for personal gain though.The store very much seems to cater to an out of town audience, which to some degree is fine, but its just too much weird stuff.There was a bar on the second story, which some people might enjoy. I do not drink alcohol personally, so it doesnt factor into my rating.The store didnt have a soda aisle either, which is the only reason I went there.

Excellent array of groceries and to-order food options. Not the best source of supplies due to minimal shelf space being dedicated to non-food items like aluminum foil and cleaning products.

Really nice supermarket. Kind of like a Whole Foods but a little less snobby. One of the biggest beer selections I have ever seen.

The store looks amazing and there seem to be plenty of employees but the pizza station should be shut down or employees retrained. I watched the person making pizza fail twice on someones order because of issues with the oven. I waited for 20 minutes as the only person in line while the employee struggled with the pizza he was trying to make. There were 4 or 5 other people watching the pizza spin in the oven with him instead of helping people in line. I gave up and just left the store. Probably wont be coming back if it takes 30 minutes to get a quick lunch. Plenty of other local options that are faster.

Great selection and information on the food you’re picking out. Fits with the surrounding environment and very clean. Sustainable food.

The management at this store could care less about locals. They send out emails with advertised specials at this location and then when you show up, they either dont sell that product or its priced 20% more than the advertised price. If you complain by email, they dont respond. Safeway is much more involved in the community and takes better care of local customers. If I could give 0 stars, I would do that.

Nice to have another place to shop but its just that. Failed on selection because their organic natural (not really) and the pricing is about on par with safeway. Failed on pricing, (thought we were getting better options pricing wise when this came about) kinda failed the locals altogether honestly.

Quality products, but really disappointed in an all organic store. If I wanted that I would shop at a health food store.

Upon opening, a fantastic variety of healthy foods, love the sandwich-cafe-smoothie-juice-pastry-selection, and the upstairs lounge is very nice. Excellent customer service, and a great atmosphere.

Oversold as natural. A lot of their produce isnt organic and have disappointing products such as Dole bananas and coke products but not products like Benadryl. All seems pretty phony. The Raleys in Incline is much better.
