I didnt have to go to reno! The guy had drum sticks yay. A good place for lessons and he had some diamond in the ruff kind of items. Guitar friendly for sure.

This is a well kept little business. The owner is a nice man generous with his time and expanse of knowledge. I recommend this place.

Looks real nice from the outside (didnt get a chance to go inside). It sells music instruments. Saw some nice ukeleles from the window. It has a rock music school also. And i think the owner has a nice looking fluffy big dog 😍

Split Rock is wonderful- Jake and Mark are like family to us! Our daughter takes violin lessons from Ellen who is amazing, talented and patient with young kids. They are so passionate about music and truly care about your childs progression. We are so happy and thankful to have Split Rock part of our extended musical family!!!!!Truckee is lucky to have Split Rock :-)

Awesome for all the local musicians and has some great teachers

I am the drummer for the Acoustamatics (Sonoma County) and was here recently for a Friday night gig at the Cottonwood. Lo and behold, when I was checking my gear that afternoon I realized that I had neglected to bring my kick drum pedal. Trying not to panic, I discovered Jake and Between the Notes on the internet, called him and he came through with a loaner for the evening. Saved by the bell and by such a really nice person.
