Good food, good service!! It’s been a while since I had a really good & crispy calamari dish. These were perfectly crispy on the outside and so tender on the inside. The marinara sauce that came with it was great too. It was a good side order, I couldn’t finish it. This photo was after I finished eating!! This is the half that was left.
Amazing experience! The food and drinks were fantastic but the staff set the bar! They were so kind and fast! The food runners made sure to have all the hot plates away from my toddler which I was super grateful for. The server, Nicholas I think, was very knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients so was helpful avoiding allergens. He was thoughtful and had things out before we even had to ask! The manager touched tables and was very friendly! We went back the next day because we enjoyed it so much. We will go every time we go to the resort!
The pizza was very good. I would recommend getting the bbq pizza; the Gouda cheese on there made it delicious and the bbq was not overwhelming. The apple salad was also great, not too sweet and nice and fresh. The waitress was so kind - she brought us free beer samples and gave great service. Try the peanut butter stout! The chicken wings were a little fatty which is the only reason I have this one less star.
All the food was great! The flavors outstanding. We are definitely coming back.
This was by far the best pepperoni pizza I had in a long time. It was put together so well. The cheese is immaculate while the pepperoni left you wanting another slice. Dip in a little bit of ranch and youre pretty much at perfection. Cant wait to stumble back into town for the next run. Was so hungry that we couldnt wait you taste pictures until after we started.
The service was fantastic, we had a large party and they were able to seat us quickly. The staff was super friendly, one of the waiters moved around a bunch of umbrellas to make sure the entire party was not in the sun. Another waitress took pictures for us and was patient in doing so. On top of that the food was delicious and the ambience (we sat outdoors) was perfect. I didnt order pizza but I had a slice of my kids cheese pizza and it might be the best cheese pizza Ive ever had. I ordered the Apple candied Pecan salad and spaghetti Bolognese and both were good. The spaghetti had a smokey taste to it which I thought was unique, the dish had a home made feel to it which was a nice surprise. It was by far the best meal experience of our stay in Tahoe.
Worst pizza I have ever had. Basically a cracker with pretty gross tomato sauce on it. A tombstone pizza or little cesars pizza would have been a million times better and a million times cheaper.Not sure if the people who posted that they loved the pizza, actually ate the pizza from there.Don’t waste your time or money.
Very good pizza. Dough was soft and delicious. And the sauce was in the top 5 Ive ever had. Great location.
They consistently had great food and service during our stay. Some of the best pizza our family has had, we went multiple times during our stay.

Nice little restaurant that serves pizza and pasta. I ordered the raviolis and was very impressed with the flavor and freshness. They have a great selection of craft beers as well. The service was excellent and we received our food very quickly. If youre looking for a casual spot at Northstar to enjoy good food, this is definitely the spot.

Ive worked here before covid and now after again. They are the best company Ive ever worked for they really care about theyre employees and theyre costumers. Highly recommend the shrimp penne and the Greek salad both are amazing!

Outstanding.There arent an overwhelming number of food options at Northstar, and Im sure a pizza restaurant could do well simply by being average. But the food and service at Rubicon are both fantastic. Quite likely, Ill be going back tomorrow.

The garlic chips were unreal. It was better that any garlic cheesy bread I have ever had. The pizza was also great. Their classic rubicon pizza was great. Their all meat pizza was okay. We also had mozzarella sticks that were average
I ride and I used to do smaller resorts. But now that Im am intermediate northstar is soooo good. And they have I think 7-12 turan parks.

These guys had it together New Years Eve! Busy time and waiting list cause everyone wants to eat. Even so they brought us a delicious pizza X 2 for four of us. Service from Owen was top notch. Only small complaint was waiting time was a good bit longer than we were told but they gave us a complimentary appetizer to compensate. Keep up the good work folks.
Best pizza in Tahoe, no doubt! Northstar Village is a great location, right by the ice rink and plenty of seating. Staff are always friendly and even when busy youll get great service and food. A weekend staple!
The food is pretty good. We had pizza 🍕 and ravioli. We went there during a snowstorm, so there were many people, but they still could find a tiny table for us. The staff were fine, even though one lady was not very friendly.There is plenty of room and the atmosphere is good. The prices were not too high for a good restaurant at the resort.
We had such a great experience here tonight. Our server Kristen was wonderful and attentive. She checked on us frequently and was very understanding. She made sure our order was just right and came back to check on us once our order arrived. Thank you for such a great and memorable dining experience!
It could have been a restaurant with 5 stars food. Since it is located in a resort, the restaurant is always very busy during holidays. I arrived the restaurant at 6pm, but the wait time for a table was estimated at 2 hours. So we decided to order take-aways. They even offered me to take my mobile number and send text to me when food is ready. They took me to expect it in 30 minutes. After 50 minutes, no text yet, so I went to the pick up area and asked, but the food is not ready yet. I kept waiting at freezing temperature outside. After another 45 minutes, and I havent received any text yet. So I went inside and asked again... The food was ready and sitting at the bar table. So I ended up with some cold pizza, wet and saggy calamari, fries, and chicken wings. The waitress didnt offer me to exchange or anything. I was very upset about it but I couldnt let me kid go hi Gary for any longer. It was one of my worst experiences ordering food to go. I believe that the food could have been fantastic if they were not cold, wet, and saggy.
Best waitress we have had in a very long time. We were a huge party (45 - 50 people), never had to check her notes, knew exactly what everyone had ordered. Food was great too.
Got the Rubicon Pizza for takeout along with the pecan and apple salad. The rubicon pizza was delicious and the pecan and apple salad was also very tasty.
One of my favorite restaurants in Northstar. They have a good beer selection and do a great Rubicon pizza. The Cobb salad was fresh and quite good.
Food is absolutely amazing. Ate there a lot during our 3 day stay as it was the only thing open. The shops shut down due to weather except Rubicon they were always the only thing open. Pizza was good, Mac and cheese Gouda and ham to die for!! Drinks were good serve was good just everything about that place is amazing.
So many great reasons to praise Rubicon! The meal itself - DELICIOUS. Through 7 adults and 5 kids (aged 4-6) we had kids personal pizzas (pep/cheese), Ravioli, Apple Pecan & the Fire Roasted Medley pizza. Well made, tasty, and fresh ingredients!Not to mention the spectacular service from our waitress, Robin. She took such great care of us, got the kids pizzas out fast, and made sure to get my mom a birthday dessert 😍All in all: WERE FANS FOR LIFE
Food is delicious. Lots of options to satisfy kids and adults. Servings are large and overall ambience is great. Summer time is great to try this place otherwise it is so packed and hard to get seats during the peak season.
This pizza place makes wonderful pizzas. They have both traditional and unique selections. The interdicts they use all taste good, not cheap. They also do unique ingredient blends and pair them perfectly.The price is on the high end, but preferred for those who arent price sensitive and for those looking for a special treat.The staff is friendly and the service is as fast as I would hope when when it was busy.

Rubicon Pizza is amazing! I had dinner there two days in a row. the pizza there is amazing, I recommend the Mediterranean. They also have a wonderful choice of beers, the Milk stout by Outlaw was one of my favorite tasting beers they had, it was the definition of chocolate wasted :) (it had a nice dark chocolate flavor, thats what I got from it). The staff at Rubicon Pizza did an amazing job, everyone there was very nice)
Super cute place. We were staying after the Northstar resort so this was a short walk into the village. Great open seating options. Bar is fully stocked with hot alcoholic drinks, good local beers and even options for the little kids. Pizza was good and came out fast. We had the Rubicon which was delcious. Didnt try dessert as we were stuffed but we would definitely come here again and highly recommend 👍
Some would say pizza is pizza. However, at Rubicon Pizza it is much more. As you would expect the ambience and service were great, but the pizza was outstanding and much above my expectations. Highly recommended.

Regretted not coming here the first night instead of going to the sushi place. This place by far was better. The spinach-artichoke dip was awesome, totally recommend it. Soup was also good. Prices are reasonable as well.

Some of the best pizza and pasta Ive ever had! Youve got to try the Fire Roasted Medley and the Classic Tomato Basil pasta. Service is friendly and fast. Definitely on my list of favorites at Northstar and Truckee!

Our waiter Robin was kind and efficient. The food was as expected and efficient . However, the host staff was rude and indifferent. Our hostess was literally chewing gum and rolling her eyes at us- really unprofessional.

I ordered a Thai Curry Pizza which I loved and found very unique. I also had Parmesan Garlic Fries which were good as far as fries go. Finally, I ate Herb and Shrimp Penne which was nice. I also enjoyed the Spinach Dip very much. Overall, it was a nice place with good food.

This place is good for a resort restaurant. I know this is a pizza place but we didnt order any except the garlic chip which is like a cheesy pizza and it comes with ranch dressing. It was good. Calamari was different but tasty. Apple pecan salad was standard but good. And order the mac & cheese and shrimp herb penne. Both tasty.
Great gluten free options. Services is super nice and the food is just as good. Beer and alcohol selection pretty decent as well. I had an amazing cider (GF)And the garlic chips
My fav spot on the mnt. Gets packed after the lifts close. Its worth the wait, hard to beat Pizza and beer, They also serve cocktails.
Great service and the food is to die for especially their Rubicon pizza. Even if it’s two-hour drive I will definitely go back there.
Little pricey but it is in an overpriced ski resort village. The pizza is awesome with many well thought out combinations which are paired well with a great microbrew selection including supporting local brewers. Wine options are good for an upscale pizza place and as a final plus they have old school games to entertain little kids and adults who are easily amused. If at North star you must give it a try.
Great location no doubt but this place smells. Have no idea why though cause the restaurant is very clean and food is above average. Very nice staff, overall good choice for families.

I cant believe Im saying this but the thai curry chicken pizza was amazing. I was lucky enough to be with a big group so i got to try 4 of the pizzas. They were all really good, dont be afraid to try something different.

The restaurant manager, Marlon, was unable to quickly and happily accommodate us after a simple error. When asked if we should forgo the take-out order that we had mistakenly placed, he advised that he would see to it that we are no longer allowed in the restaurant. Finally, when he agreed to seat us, he advised that our food would likely be cold and, in a snarky tone, said that we would have to tip our waitress. Not the best example set by an employee in a management position.
Really enjoyed my visit. Pizza was great and service is fast. I could see this place going crowded pretty fast during ski season, but perfect spot to go during other times of the year.
I really enjoyed the artichoke dip. The pizza was nice, it is your standard plate of pizza in my opinion. It took a long time for the food to come in though.

We ordered appetizers they tasted great ! And the service was quick. For drinks we had several local draft beer. They have alot of options for drinks and meals and appetizers. My son order from the kids meal and ate all of it. We stayed at Northstar Welk Resort and ended up ordering dessert later that night. We ordered online and it was quick. They close @ 9:30. Would definitely recommend this place .
